What were the politics of the video game Bioshock and its utopia founder, Andrew Ryan? Was it redpilled, or just more liberal smoke and mirrors? They say it's based heavily on Ayn Rand's objectivism, "No gods or kings, only man" sounds great at first, but isn't it just a little bit socialist?
Heavily based on Ayn Rand's objectivism, although the game experience itself is based on a criticism of what results from its implementation on a society. The game's probably an advocate against it, so I guess bluepill.

Bioshock is based off Atlas shrugged and the politics entail free markets with no government intervention, an ancaps' wet dream. That's why the quote "No gods or kings, only man" is used often, because nothing is allowed to prohibit progress. It is definitely not socialist, if it were you'd see all the splicer owning the means of production.
How many times have we all seen fat Black women in supermarkets, with their shopping carts filled with donuts, soda, chips, candy, etc. (all paid for with your White tax dollars, i.e., with food stamps or welfare checks)?

I'm actually Irish as in from the Republic/southern Ireland but I can't help but have a sneaking admiration for them.
People keep calling them reactionary, far right, whatever but all they are is a conservative party that has never compromised on their social policies.
In the 1960s, they were certainly already the more conservative of the two unionist parties but they were still very much mainstream for the time. They haven't changed, the world has changed around them and they haven't (much).
It's just hilarious to watch everyone get so outraged that some conservatives actually didn't just go with the flow and cut everything out of their platform to get with the times or whatever. The other hilarious part is that because of how autonomous Northern Ireland is, they actually get away with implementing policies that tweak the nose of modern Britain.
"B-but how is that possible it's 2017 this is wrong gosgjisogjaiooheoghwo"
Well, that's just how electoral politics in Northern Ireland is. There are people doing things the average BBC journalist, Redditor or Guardian columnist doesn't like and getting away with it. They'll have to deal with it.
Hell yeah. Dreamers BTFO.
>Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and eight other state attorneys general, along with Republican Idaho Gov. Butch Otter, are urging the Trump administration to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival Program.
>The 10-state coalition is giving the Trump administration until September 5 to rescind DACA and not renew or issue any new DACA permits in the future — or Paxton said the coalition will press on with its lawsuit against the program currently pending in the District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
>"We respectfully request that the secretary of homeland security phase out the DACA program," Paxton wrote in a letter dated Thursday to Attorney General Jeff Sessions. "Just like DAPA, DACA unilaterally confers eligibility for work authorization and lawful presence without any statutory authorization from Congress."
>etc.
This is the best news I've heard since I read here on /pol/ about an hour ago that Trump is going to Poland in a week to urge Europe to follow the Poland's anti-immigrant example.

Wtf? I am an attractive guy and I get zero matches. How is that possible? I don't know about American women but here they think they deserve to get with fucking Brad Pitt LITERALLY. Our generation will be the last in the Western world. No relationships means no kids. Only the top 10% reproducing means a 90% decline in population. And all this because women are so fucking retarded and deluded to accept normal men. They only like famous actors and models
If you dont get tinder matches:
>stop being short
>stop being autistic
>stop being a virgin
There, fixed your problems
My ugly friend gets matches, my best guess is you unreasonably standards

Pennsylvania, a northeastern U.S. state and one of the 13 original colonies, has a diverse terrain, which includes wide stretches of farmland, national forests and mountains. Philadelphia, the Keystone State’s largest city, displays its rich history in Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and the Liberty Bell, an enduring symbol of American freedom.
Pennsylvania's nickname is "The Keystone State" because it was the middle colony of the original thirteen colonies, and because Pennsylvania has held a key position in the economic, social, and political development of the United States.Three of our most treasured documents were written in Pennsylvania: the US Constitution, the Declaration of independence, and the Gettysburg Address.

Sometimes called the partridge, the ruffed grouse is one of 10 species of grouse native to North America, ranging mostly in regions where snow is an important part of the winter scene (consistently covering the ground from late November to at least late March). The ruffed grouse is a hardy bird which thrives during severe winters that decimate flocks of quail, pheasants, and turkeys.
Mountain laurel was designated as Pennsylvania's official state flower in 1933.
Mountain laurel is an evergreen shrub native to the eastern United States (from southern Maine to northern Florida and west to Indiana and Louisiana).
To the left of the shield is a stalk of Indian corn; to the right, an olive branch (signifying peace and prosperity). The shield's crest is an eagle; and the design is encircled by the inscription "Seal of the State of Pennsylvania."

Anyone here who's fiscally conservative, but really likes the society of mid-ate(~1970s) USSR?
I mean, private property and capitalismis certainly better for economics then state socialism, but it makes people... kinda alienated from each other? Meanwhile, in USSR people were really united for a cause of making your country better and were not forced to compete.
Communism is necessary to reinstill through struggle the human spirit. Capitalism and its decadence breeds stupid, materialistic people. Communism as an economic idea is retarded - it would never work - what it's good for is keeping the population from getting spoiled.
>>131866228
>the needs of the population are always underestimated, with the result that there is a chronic shortage of half the necessities of life; but this is looked on as an advantage. It is deliberate policy to keep even the favored groups somewhere near the brink of hardship, because a general state of scarcity increases the importance of small privileges and thus magnifies the distinction between one group and another.
>>131865800
>Meanwhile, in USSR people were really united for a cause of making your country better and were not forced to compete.
But they actually weren't. Bribery was omnipresent, theft of state resources was considered acceptable and almost everyone participated in black markets one way or another. Why do you think Eastern Europe to this day suffers from high corruption and low social trust, while its main export is organized crime? Do you actually remember the Soviet 70s?
