Under the premise that "nothing James Comey has done in the last year makes any sense", consider a few points.

Gowdy: "History will be very kind to Comey when currently classified information comes out". Gowdy also mentions that the "tarmac meeting" last year has many classified details surrounding it that would greatly change the public's perception of James Comey for the better.

Gowdy: You have massively mishandled the Lynch investigation. This is not the FBI I used to work with.
Comey: After all the politics shake off this issue, you will find this IS this FBI you know and love, this was done by PROS.

So why would Comey sit in front of the panel and say that despite finding egregious mishandlings by Clinton and her staff, he wouldn't recommend prosecution? Because he has more dirt on Obama's admin than that, and handing the "emails" issues to Lynch last year would have effectively ended this entire shakedown.

Cut to today's hearing...

1) In no way threw Trump under the bus
2) Admitted leaking to drive the narrative (this is what they'll try to "hang" him for)
3) Admitted that Lynch obstructed justice

The table is now set, and Comey came out of it mostly unscathed by playing the "ah geez, I dunno what I was thinking" card. Comey is a very smart man. If he can think his way through a congressional hearing, he could think his way through a 1 on 1 conversation with Trump.

TL;DR: Comey and Gowdy have been colluding for a year, holding back an FBI recommendation for prosecution until Trump's team could take over. Comey's firing was planned and staged, and the table is set for massive prosecution under AG Sessions.

After weeks of predicting the firing of James Comey would lead to Trump's impeachment, Colbert became unhinged and started dancing around as a dinosaur on his late night show that will air tonight on CBS. Colbert implied Comey was scared of Trump and called Trump a "T-Rex".

So i'm black and to be honest it can be very hard to hold conservative views and keep black friends. I cannot even count how many friends i have lost. It is obvious to me at this point that there is no beating Drumpf. He remains 20 steps ahead. Every time I think he is going down, the scenario plays out completely opposite. I honestly have never seen anything like it in my 32 years and have no idea how he does it. It is like he has people inside our Government working for him 24/7 even before he was elected, with the NSA, reading peoples emails, phone calls. Hell, he even has Graham on his side now, and McCain....really wtf?

He did not use executive privilege to block Comey from testifying. I already knew he did not obstruct because Mueller let him go under oath. But he let Comey take the stand and literally hang himself as if he knew exactly what Comey was going to say...he did it on purpose. He even knew Comey leaked to the press before he admitted it. Now Comey has lied under oath and Trump has leverage over him to get him to turn Obama and Clinton in for their crimes. Hell, he even through Lynch under the bus today, pretty much admitted she committed obstruction.

So tell me, how does Drumpf do it?
