So I have a car related question but i think you guys can hel
For those with a proper setup how ou set tour pedals and wheel. Currently I'm trying to work out the best seating position in regards to the wheel and pedal distance. Most people seem to suggest getting your wrists to so on top of the wheel when sitting normally but this feels a tad cramped and makes clutch use awkward.

What are your thoughts

There's no best way to sit when racing. Just give yourself some time to do a load of hotlapping, adjust your seating position and whatnot every so often and just work out what you're most comfortable with. You want to just make sure you can comfortably race for extended periods of time without excess fatigue

I think the bop for the viper and tuscan needs a little reworking for the series. I know the tuscan is supposed to be a higher skill car and im not exactly good but at big willow i expected the tuscan to blow the viper out but i was consistently faster in the viper by almost 2 seconds. Unless i wasn't supposed to actually adjust the suspension or i copied something wrong. idk i just think that even for a good driver the the tuscan being better on the straights will really help unless we're going to run le mans or high speed ring.

Okay so I tried out both on Tsukuba, Viper is about .3 of a second faster but WAY easier to handle. Maybe it's because you can tune the suspension in it vs the TVR but it's way less prone to snap oversteer.

The two graphics settings that really kill FPS in GTR 2, especially with modded content, are special effects and shadows. Set shadows on medium or lower and special effects on low or off. Also get the 4GB Patch

Apart from that, I remember these wierd issues with installing mods. I sadly can't remember how I solved these though, it's just been too long.

I do have the 4GB patch, my shadows are set to off (i can't set quality lower than medium for whatever reason) and special effects are set to low. I also set the max. visible cars to about 10, and with all of that, polycount still beat me.
Anyways, another part of the reason I wanted the GRID mod was so I could have modern GT3 cars as EEC only has cars from 2012 and earlier, and the only two skin packs I can find anywhere are Blancpain 2012 and ADAC GTM 2012.

Different anon here, done both on the big willow just now and the Viper is up by 1.4 seconds. The TVR would be practically the same if the rear didn't constantly break away from me (which I can chalk up to just plain old not being very good at Willow Springs). So far the TVR BTFO's the Viper on the straights and matches it in high speed corners but sucks ass coming out of most corners.

Would go back to try improve the TVR's time but I just don't have the time to do it.

So, /ovg/, I need some help.
I'm trying to beat the 3rd race of the Smokey Mountain Rally event using the Delta against the Impreza and I seem to always end up way far behind, even if I stay quite a bit ahead of him at the start. I have a few parts I bought like the stage 2 turbo and suspension and other things, and it seems I do have the upper hand in acceleration up until I hit the max speeds for it (which look to be around 145-150 MPH).

Am I doing something wrong, or is it just impossible?

Guys, I never played any of the Horizons, only the numbered Forza series. Currently a little bored with 6, have all the dlc and am very bored. But I don't know if I want to get Horizons 3.

Am I cucking myself to tracks only? Should I continue self imposed cucking myself and wait for 7 or try Horizons 3?

I would honestly recommend you get the first Horizon instead. 3 is kinda crap after a long time of playing, but the first game felt more like the mid 2000s NFS games and had a far better map.

Item stores usually means it's something that unlocks in game (so the content is there at all times) unlike DLCs. Typically game currency and cosmetics.
But not in rF2's case, so you can't join servers with the 650S.
