I can do a bit over a foot on my BMX last I checked, improved a bit since then though.

The trick is people think way too much about up and not enough about back, you're basically making the whole bike operate as a lever and pushing off the back wheel so if you're doing it right you'll feel the whole bike go stiff and you'll really feel that you're driving down into the rear wheel.

Finally got it out today, that was a bitch and a half.

But I was really pleased with the way it looks. Red on the frame is nice. The black is a little gritty like skateboard tape, no idea what that types called, but it's nice.

On top of some hill there was a little path down the side the turned left quick, which is what you see in the pic. At the bottom it went off into some really thick weeds, like, can't let off the clutch because I don't have hand guards thick, and did a little circle back to where we came down.
