Bought this yesterday. 2016 Tech. Lets get a Nissan love thread goin
well? Is it fun? What roads do you hoon with it?
The Z and the GT-R are both great cars (inb4 corvette), I just wish Nii-Saan made more sporty cars nowadays. They are moving increasingly further away from the 90s glory days of jap sports cars and closer to general population pleasing practicalitymobiles (case in point the Crossover Z concept)
Eh, they still have two fun cars in their lineup, which isn't bad. Some brands only have one (Mazda) or none at all (Honda, Mitsubishi, VW). What I don't like about modern Nissan is their styling. Some of their cars like the Juke are straight up atrocious.
Agreed about styling, most of their modern cars are either ugly or just generic and bland. And the juke is just fucking awful.
And yeah two isn't terrible I guess. T b h I'm just buttmad that there's no Silvia anymore.
And for mazda, doesn't mazdaspeed count? I'm assuming the one you counted was the miata
A modern Silvia would be great. But I guess that's essentially what the FRZ is.
Yeah, I counted the Miata. I thought they stopped making the Mazdaspeed? Oh well, at least they're hopefully making a new RX-7 soon.
Nice OP. I hope to get one some day. In the mean time I own I drive a crossover concept.
I'm out of peanut butter too bro. pic related
I don't get why people spend more than fluid changes and basic maintenance on their car.
It's not like they actually have opinions and tastes that are relevant to my hugbox, right?
How does it feel knowing you own the worst piece of crap Nissan has ever made.
The best part is they know it, but chumps like you will still buy it so they just sit back and laugh.
Also, pigfat slow shitbox.
I'm here with some Nissan love OP. Dumping misc z32 pics, only car pics I have
looks pretty good
it's questionable as to whether or not it's actually a good car or whether it's worth what you've paid for it but it's undeniably beautiful
although I will say the red accents are on the border of rice
Pros - Pin and Rack steering makes it feel like a real wheel in the sense that your input isnt clouded by electronic steering. perfect weight to it. Y Rated tires grip nicely in corners (havent romped yet doing a proper break in) 295's in the rear, with a staggered set up (dont know fronts off top of my mind) the 5k+ recaro seats feel amazing, possibly the best seats ive ever sat in to be honest. It has great torque in the low end enough to overtake without going passed 3000 Rpm. Bose speakers are wonderful.
Cons: mcpherson struts make these cars really hard to enjoy in a poor street. Very jerky if road quality is poor. Lots of wheel noise with windows up. No unique badge plate showing which number is yours this year (that i know of.) Price is scary and it does indeed not offer the best of the best components. Older engine means better reliability through sheer experience, but the technology gap is obvious as the VQ motor gets a whopping 14 MPG in the streets and 24 in the highway. If its actually a con 93 octane, i personally just pump it regardless if the car needs it or not but this car DOES need it. And also, dont even bother trying to turn back to reverse, stick to the camera there isnt a way to reverse looking back with the small meme window.
But to be honest, the car does 0 to 60 in 5.0 maybe 4.9 is possible in the nismo form. I believe it can hold .90g in turns and the brakes come big and powerful. You can battle over horsepower numbers and lap times and stats but when it comes to owning, you own whatever the fuck you want. Thats why this forum has so many MR2's (which im looking to pick up too) miatas and lifted offroad 240's. This car is a niche car and that doesnt make it bad. Its a great car but its obvious the company is running on an old formula and its showing it. This car is great because it gives you perhaps the last taste of an age that is slowly disappearing.
10/10 personally but unbiased and being super critical Id say 8.3/10
No Im gonna ride the stocks for a while. These Rays are nice
Nice car OP, for a second i thought you went over the curb. Hows ground clearance?
So you bought that aged piece of shit instead of a new C7? Could of had another gear, another 150HP, an extra 2 cylinders...
they made an e class an s class and the cl class as well as the cls class with a twin turbo v8 that you coulda bought used for less than what you just paid
if i were you i would return that car right now and get somthing more logical
>>All the posters here saying he could have bought a used performance car.
He obviously couldn't have which is why he bought new, it's not like he payed 45k outright. People buy cars like this because they can get financing on them.
What other cars were you considering OP? Or was your eye always on the 370?
I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a car at around the same price range. Looking at the STI, M235 or saving a few more months for an M2.
No, the guy had the car scratched from the lot. The dealership is going to repair it for me when I go back to them on my day off. I don't get what the big deal is, you think I'm going to pay for it? They give me a free detail and a full tank so it's not like I lose anything on it.
I do not like american muscle cars, I didn't like the feel of the camaro or mustang interior. The challenger scat pack was interesting, but again the big heavy scene wasn't my thing. I was going to get the new ND Miata but I didn't get excited sitting in it or being in it. I was between then a 370z nismo, and STI, or an Evo. And out of the three, the most fun I had was in the 370z. I mean, it's just my opinion. When you get that cash drop it on whatever the hell you want but my heart instantly was bought when I sat in the Z.
>this thread is perfect for me to be an attention whore
>here's my non-nissan brz
Surprisingly, my girlfriends Sonic scrapes more. I'm usually very careful anyway when I got my Z i caught the bumper on a parking barrier and I spent a good 30 minutes with a strangers help trying to get it off. From then on every single raised bump and pothole was my enemy Lol.
I love my 350z, it's mostly stock except for suspension. Any ideas for tasteful wheels? Was looking at getting te37s. Id post a picture but it's too big and I'm on mobile so have this instead
Nice car man, enjoy giving it great washes, detailing, and maintenance (this is not a bad thing, it just means its a good enough car for you to take care of).
The only thing I really hate bout the 370z Nismo is the interior... they should REALLY update it along with the facelift. But hey, its very subjective.
Can any Nii-Sans give me the rundown on the SE-R Spec V? Looking at a 2009 going for 7k.
im not a benchracer and i could tell you it isn't worth that.
because i own one. and i paid 1k more than HALF that. for 12k on the odo, an 8 year warranty, fast intentions exhaust, and wheels.
46k is stupid as fuck. i paid 24 for pic related.
>no s30/s130 race car bed
Electric power steering has nothing to do with road feel, my car has it but it's sort of a passive system. It really only helps you in parking lots, and doesn't do much of anything while driving, and you can feel everything in the road.
