Best automatic car for daily driving that's under 8k.
I live in Georgia so almost no snow here.
Good gas mileage and reliable.
Serious thread not trolling and not baiting for manual vs automatic.

I don't think people are aware that the main problems with automatic transmissions on early 90s Accords were the computer and solenoids.
Crown Victoria
Corolla or Camry.
Good on gas, trans are good on them, nothing will die for a long time. Keep up oil changes, minor service every now and then it'll be good for 10 years. Not a fun drive or anything sporty at all but comfortable at least. Set and forget. They're horribly boring cars with the bare minimum amount of features but you can't kill them so if you're looking for that, there you go.

You could also get a Volvo 240 or a Mercedes W123 or W124 if you don't mind something older. Again, good trans, slow and boring, but these cars frequently break 500,000+ miles with ease and nothing major going bad.
how about a mazda 3 or honda civic vtec ex from the 2005 / 2007 generation
