Are you going aftermarket? The stock disc setup sucks. If you can't afford aftermarket you could go with Cadillac calipers on the rear like I have. It's a common budget setup
Very nice. I always loved EF body civic/crx's.
Most of them have no options and they're light as all fuck. Manual steering, no ac/abs/cruise? no problem! Only problem living up in Canada is, they rot away.
A lot of my learning on manual was done in a 5 speed CRX. too bad it rotted away and my buddy sold it.
Have a rear end from a 2000 ss. Have the brake parts too.
Just too lazy/broke to buy gears for it and put it in.

The rear brakes on my '84 are gigged so I'm doing the LS1 plate swap. Found a '99 with the axle shafts already out at the junkyard, I was so fucking happy. 8 bolts and I was home free.

What you don't seem to realize is that it doesn't matter and the benefits are pissant shit, why even bother investing the extra money on a slow old shitbox? You are an incredibly dense benchracer.
The only reason to convert to 4-wheel discs is increased performance, pointless on some teenage girl's commuter shitbox. They wouldn't have stopped her from rear-ending someone while checking facebook.
All of this butthurt about brakes. I didn't even upgrade because of stopping power, I just wanted less brake fade.
