post bleeps + bleep accessories
Just came back from club.
Calax and Teebee not bad.
S.P.Y pretty good, Lenzman okay.
Missed a shit tonne of acts because of toilet queue's plus 4 stages running simultaneously.
Had some fun when Kenny Ken came on. Considering I was just drunk af had a good time.
I take back all the shit I've said about MC's.. they work when listening live.
any choon man in?
i'm stimulated and would greatly appreciate if someone posted a neat footwork type jam
especially with the fast sixteenth bass rhythms, or more complex time sigs
all i'm really familiar with that i like a lot is dj rashad and some of the people he collabed with, machinedrum and machine girl. i'm trying to find more cool singles but very little is hitting the spot for me.
>4 stages running simultaneously
I haven't been since they redid it, what are the rooms now? Cave and Tunnel and Main Warehouse I assume, but what's the fourth room? Is it still the second warehouse, joined on to the first one? I thought that got converted to 'The Marble Factory?'
It was pretty good.
i sometimes take up to 6 mg for the evening, you fucking amateur
i feel you man, i'm 24 and feel just too old for that molly fuckin bullshit dude
it takes a toll on my body and i feel super depressed afterwards, i wish i could experience that first time again, but it only makes me feel like shit
>What you do last night?
nothing lol, i just get bad anxiety it actually feels like i'm on a bad comedown where i've had tight chests and feel as if i'm on the verge of breaking into panic
i've been doing mdma since 2012 but no more than 3 or 4 times a year, then like 6 months ago i had a streak of about ~7 consecutive weekends and it felt great, but everything afterwards left me feeling depressed as fuck
no particular problems, except that i'm going to graduate this year and i don't know what i'm going to do with my life next
This shit is nutz
yeah that is true as well. i just wish they put out a bit more frequently as opposed to like 1 record every 6-12 months.
new NA ep is gonna be good tho although im betting we've heard at least half of it by now.
you ever think his newest album sold out is funny because he sort of did sell out or at least get less enjoyable.
Like now he sounds like most of the other teklife producers, he used to be so unique and have these fruity samples. Like here.
Now he just sounds like second rate teklife shite.
woah bro you saying you like sold out? Why not listen to DJ Manny? Old rashad is better than that what are you doing m8
Go to the best record store in town, ask where the funk is, and then just listen to all that shit man. Melody? Done. Alright. Snares, you know you gunna hit that lex luger sample kit. Hi hats? Same kit! It's the shit yo. Alright, now you need 808 shit. Done. PUblish that.
I make dubstep influenced bass music. You'll understand why I don't wanna call it straight up dubstep. I'm still finding my sound, but I'm hella fucking close.
>Say you've got two new records, Banger 1 by DJ A and Banger 2 by DJ B. DJ A is a 28-year-old artist who's been making music since she was 16. She spent most of that time making terrible tracks she'd never dream of showing anyone. Then, slowly, she started making decent tracks, and finally she made Banger 1, which was good enough to be released, distributed and bought by you.
>DJ B is 28 as well, but over the years he's had only a fleeting interest in music production. He's got a few ideas, including a few samples he's set aside, and he's saved €600 from last year's DJ fees. He made Banger 2 together with a friend—someone who's put in the time and money to build a studio and develop slick production methods. But they're not a duo—DJ B paid his friend for his services and released the record as a solo effort.
>HE THE MAN is a bad man
>SHE THE WOMAN is an underrated dj
fuck the patriarchy
They had Marble Factory open and connected to Motion, you could just walk between the two. I mainly stuck to main stage and M/F, I couldn't get down tunnel so missed Serial Killaz unfortunately. Must have been thousands of people there last night.
Place really does have a warehouse feel to it, especially on main stage. Fucking amazing night.
percs >>> xans desu, but they're totally different. opiate v benzo high, but if you like 1 you will probs dig the other desu senpai. percs are mad $$$$$ tho, but snort a dose and it is pr much the best high outside of your first pill.
Tell me more friend
what is it that troubles you? Is it me? I think it's me. Are you annoyed with me, or at me? You know what they say, a friend in need is a friend indeed. That's why you shouldn't be mad me, cause I need you, baby.
>>61966178but for real though I feel the anger family just let it go listen to this it make you feel better.
skip to 1.00.40 for good vibes
Too deep to understand. Mysterious as the darkness. There's a fight within your self, to keep a heart that is so cold. Just leave your evil hatred all behind.
solidarity with our furry brethren
like us they have turned to to an underground subculture to deal with deterritorialization
a few misplaced clicks at a particularly vulnerable moment and this could have been u or me
Being a furry isn't a choice, and it isn't a lifestyle. It's who you are. It's what you breathe. It's how I feel.
>who are the best producer to ever hail from france
i'm french myself (not that anon tho) and idk about the best. some good ones i know are DSCRD, Polar Inertia aka Voiski and a friend of him, Dynarec, Umwelt, Automat...
the scene here is quite lean and scattered, compared to the UK or Germany where there is enough activity for a lot of different musicals movement to develop, and that even outside of the big, internationally recognized cities.
if Germany was like France, first there would be no berghain. the only nights happening regularly would be generic techno/house ones. the beer (and life in general) would cost three times its price, and there would be close to no nightlife outside of Berlin and say, Munich - i don't really know what the next big city is... boy i am looking forward to the day i'll leave.
is the bleep london cru a myth?
how do i get into the whatsapp?
i was going to corsica next saturday with a friend but she dropped out to go smoke weed instead. dont wanna do it solo.
Go alone and learn to be that outsider that everybody just met. You'll learn social skills and live the joy of human interaction.
>i have read before that some of you london bleeps meetup as bleep london cru
This is true. We do roll out as the bleep london cru.
We wear bomber jackets, drop 3 pills at a time and we fuck any niqqa up that don't wanna recognise.
i had a 1000 and i can say that unless you're invested in the hardware and the experience of using it, it is near useless. it's not user friendly, the 1000 has so little memory that you can't use every single feature available to you, they change depending on the operating system you have installed on the machine. can't speak for any of the newer models but i just found it easier to use software to achieve what i wanted.
>tfw no circlon
I did a bit, but I've just found it easier to manually write in my midi, which seems silly and tedious but I've just been doing it for so long that I know how to write rhythms exactly how I want them in less time than it would take me to pound it in with the mpc, swing and all. And I sold it like 2 years ago as well, but my housemate has a Push so w/e
trends move more quickly these days i think. kind of related, so is it just me or was footwork the buzz genre of 2011-2012, died off for a bit when trap started up after brostep and has now somehow come back into the public eye a bit?
i think the footwork that i really can't get into is the more traditional, by-the-rules shit which seems to be most of it. it's hard for me to discern a producer from another tbqh
I got a nice amount of outboard gear already. It would be more convenient to have the samples out of a sampler and the MPC workflow looks appealing since I play in everything anyway.
feel like theres been a rapid cultural shift in dance music over the past few years. the idea of UK bass happening today seems impossible which is why it feels so far away in the past.
What causes that sensation when you're lying in bed after clubbing and you get imaginary music in your head? Is it some kinda audio imprint on your ears from the noise and repetition or is it just the drugs?
>I take back all the shit I've said about MC's.. they work when listening live.
ofc man, have u never been to a club in the uk before?
they add an extra level of energy to everything they spit over and it can really help as well to have something to focus on
there will be more bleep lads at corsica i think
music is obviously subjective, but i'd go for lobby on that one
village underground is a nicer venue. like a sold out/over sold corsica can be prettyyyy bad, while village underground always seems to have enough room and the venue has better production
sound is v good at both
you lads will recognise me at corsica next week cuz ill be wearing this
I'll probably join in if I go solo.
Should just join the whatsapp temporally t b h.
You'll see me all the way up front screaming
"WOI WOI LADS LETS GET IT YEAH"
repeatedly and constantly throwing up :okhand: signs.
you will know when someone is from bleep because they will have there shirt off, they will be sweating one out because of the sheer amount of e's they have taken and they will be chanting in unison with the other lads.. fuckin avin it
desu it's about an open vibe, dancing and just enjoying yourself. The right people will pick the vibe up and interact with you. That's how I pick up men and women.
So how it develops:
