how do people outside of london afford to go to club nights weekly in london
i met this dude a few weeks ago and he is constantly livin the bleep lifestyle, buying records and going club nights.
i live in london (tbf on student loan and shit low job) but i cant even afford to go out to nights every week or buy records all the damn time
By interacting with your local scene, and get free/cheap drugs from your dealers and guestlist from promoters and dj's.
i mean you gotta make use of all that /bleep/ knowledge somewhere, and the best way to start is with people in the music industry.
desu how does he do it?
every time I go to one of his sets I leave smiling like an idiot.
There was this weird creaking noise coming from the speakers and I just started laughing.
His mixing style is very basic, his selections are fairly obvious, he rarely ever throws anything truly unexpected, but it just works so well every single time and I just don't get why.
yeah i sent my phone number last month but didn't get an invite lol
if this lobster thermain night at corsica is going to have a lot of us there i might as well say hello to some of you at one point during the night
>£5-£20 tickets (buy early birds 2bh)
>£15 for A few drinks/water pretty much optional though; cups of water are free
>£10ish for MDMA
It's not particularly expensive 2bh.I only go once a month though.
2 what? I get it in crystal form for ~£30/g and usually take 0.33g in a night.
yeah it's a shame desu, I'm not around for it anyway but yeah people should go to >>61983240
where to go for top bants and electronic chats then?
What the hell? It's just your phone number, what's the worst that could happen? We all have each others' numbers show up on whatsapp so it's not like any one person is at a unique risk of... whatever it is you're scared of.
Will people actually chat or dance together? That going to happen or will everyone be on their own trying to figure out who posts on /bleep/ and judge their appearance?
Might come to Giegling desu, ain't been out since Hydra in December.
some of you bleeps are alri
dont go to village underground on the 6th feb
I had my first proper feel up experience at Berghain. Went out to get some food after being inside for ages, got back, bouncer said why is your jeans button open, I said because the jeans were constricting, then he cupped my balls to see if I was hiding anything there.
no thanks jeff. next time I'll remember to close that button
alright, fine. I'll ask for an invite.
>tfw nobody can join you @ the club
Do you go alone sometime ?
Been to one night and a few Jaded parties on my own. It's okay, but less enjoyable than with pals.
Smoking helps 2bh; an excuse to go outside once in a while and can chat to people a bit. If you're more outgoing you could probably make a few friends for the night.
Drugs were absolutely necessary on my own 2bh.
haha outta my way! snow's not gonna slow my roll!
The sharpest blade in my armoury: My intellect.
I eviscerate my foes with infallible logic, erudite literary references and eloquent delivery.
Just imagine my face when I hear the likes of 'Hot Creations is a really solid label' as I enjoy a cigarillo in some South London smoking area.
I bumped into Sansa Stark at Fabric the other night
extremely nice lass, had a real conversation with me and my m8 before she had to go off with her group of friends, she fit in very nicely with all the other hot student chicks too with her puma tee
also Kahn and Neek and Flowdan absolutely destroyed it
well my m8 asked her if she's on anything and she said "nah I'm an alcohol girl" and she *did* seem pretty calm and with it but I have a feeling she definitely is on it sometimes good for her
yeah you should man! superb venue with reasonable ticket prices and amazing line-ups, just pre-drink to avoid the extortionate drink prices
and I think I might do that too, when I made the fb post and obligatory selfie post about it a few of my friends said they knew people who had bumped into her as well at Fabric or XOYO so I think I now might have to pop down there a lot more lolol
one of her m8s was a typical tall skinny attractive lad who was putting his arm around her and shit with her leaning into him so I assumed they were dating
kinda wish I talked to her more tho lads, she was so friendly but I think I froze up in the moment in disbelief so the most I could ask her was "how you doing?" "you having a good night?" etc
TONIGHT IS PARTY TIME ITS PARTY TIME TONIGHT TONIGHT IS PARTY TIME ITS PARTY TIME TONIGHT TONIGHT IS PARTY TIME ITS PARTY TIME TONIGHT TONIGHT IS PARTY TIME ITS PARTY TIME TONIGHT TONIGHT IS PARTY TIME ITS PARTY TIME TONIGHT TONIGHT IS PARTY TIME ITS PARTY TIME TONIGHT TONIGHT IS PARTY TIME ITS PARTY TIME TONIGHT
I know man :s I didn't ask, my friend did (who I actually met that night then it just happened to turn out we went to the same uni I love it when stuff like that happens) if that makes it any better, these days I never like asking celebs for selfies or anything, I just try to have a real conversation with them for a few minutes
I also walked past the guy from Vampire Weekend at 1 in the morning in Shoreditch a few months ago
you could say it's shit that white middle class kids are latching onto music that's suddenly 'cool' even though they would cross the street to avoid the black producer that made it
however without these suckaz fuelling the grime scene, black boys wouldn't be getting Ps
then again quality drops as artists appeal to mass audiences
though as grime spreads you get more weirdos making it with new influences and interesting ideas
DVS1 will play all-night long at Village Underground on Saturday, March 5th.
The eight-hour set will be the US DJ's longest in London to date, with doors running from 10 PM through 6 AM. The party is the latest addition to the Shoreditch venue's Superstition series, which has showcases from Sweatlodge, Giegling, Machine and Token all to come in the next fortnight.
"white people" as in yr cheeky Nando's lad who thinks they are street because they listen to Stormzy (which is weird that he is slated now, because he was taken really seriously a few months ago) are a joke but they are no harm. It's a waste of time for people to get angry about them (especially seeing as they helping funding BME artists careers) and every genre of music has its stupid teens who don't know anything. but a lot of these people eventually properly get in to genre they front about. no one starts off in the deep end. a lot of the 20 years old in to "real emo" like mineral, the promise ring etc. definitely listened to the awful 00s emo when they were young. at the end of the day, they are just kids.
but what is happening in the mainstream shouldn't really bother anyone anyway. all the exciting stuff is happening in the underground and those who dig deep are rewarded for it by being ahead of the curve and being around those who are really appreciative as well. and mumdance (who had a killer year last year) is white.
Liquid, Jump up, Jungle, mainstream DnB (Chase and status, Pendulum etc), RAM, Hospital, Metalheadz, Hip Hop, RnB, mainstream-ish grime (Dizzee, Kano, Wiley, Titch), local grime, garage, electro, dutch house
And Top 40 up until about 15
i'm even more impressed now that i've googled it and seen that it wasn't a pasta.
Big up fammo
what is this song that goes like "DEE JAY RASHAD DEE DEE JAY RASHAD DEE DEE JAY RASHAD"
is it some tribute song to dj rashad or was rashad a narcissist who made a song where his name is being repeated
So I went to a parder club last night and holy shit was the music loud mainly just the edm like fuck ear piercing especially when the fat fuck of a dj filtered down the music he had the resonance high I'm assuming. Anyways is the music always this high? Should I bring ear plugs next time? I can still hear ringing I need my ears for producing
WE DID IT!!!
if my post ends in 303 she is the queen of bleep
the original greentext is important tho desu
I had a real blast playing out this weekend anyone have some positive vibes in the club this weekend?
If you ever manage to catch ya boy Arremer Jack in the place you can come say hello, would give a fellow /bleep/ poster a shoutout, no doubt
I also bought some new records recently, what you guys been buying?
>yanks don't know anything about the music they created the foundation for other nations to bandwagon from and repackage
ooooh please just stop it, i was giving you the benefit of the doubt. because people just posted old face pics of you from /sp/ but now your actually adtbging people and literally baiting for a 30000+ pardner vs chav discussion also 606 get
I'm just trying to keep /bleep/ discussion on-topic and stop neo-/bleep/ from taking over completely.
I remember we used to have 300 posts about on-topic discussion, it was a good time.
It's funny that it seemed to be less British posters back then haha, maybe its a coincidence, maybe.. right guys?
Where you guys playing out to next?
I am playing a house party on monday and I hear that DJ QU is going to be there, I will have to bring some serious fire.
Post some good tracks lads, come on now, I know you can do it :^) do it for me.
took 0.25 mg of xanax yesterday
some two hours later took another 0.25 mg
which equals to 0.5 mg in total
also had two beers
i have to max my dose or something, next time im gonna start with 1 mg and see where that gets me
If dubs all Geordies are subhuman filth
>the bitch eventually ended up with some other guy cause I din't make a move
oh man, this happened to me too last week
except i think she was really into me, first she was grinding on me, then she was facing me and we danced together, and i got to touch her a lot, but then she just moved away
i think she got tired of dancing there with me and wanted me to do something, but what else was i supposed to? all i could do was smile and dance while facing her
was i supposed to kiss her when we was hugging?
Rabit is a shit producer
Canadians are doing grime better than america
Mc Twisty is a faggot
John Brown the Rebel all sounds the same
Rabit isnt grime
Mukky is like the only states side producer who makes good grime
should have kissed her whilst you were facing her. most def thought you weren't interested. you then had a a chance after the hug. like when yous both pull away, you lean in. textbook stuff.
