GET IN HERE FAGGOTS
WHY IS PIC RELATED NOT MAINSTREAM YET?
HIS SHIT BANG
oh cool so that was in fact the premiere? Now I truly feel like I witnessed history in the making.
apparently kendrick made his tv debut on fallon so I guess that was a little payback
i guarantee nobody in the crowd actually understands none of the lines hes dropping. they might a couple lines together and that's it. u know u gotta listen to shit like this some five times to understand it and actually vibe wit it.
i swear to god kendrick fans are some fuck niggas.
get lit niggas
How is problem not mainstream? Most of my mates who don't listen to anything except radio know him. I think he gets plenty of high profile features, it's only a matter of time before his solo stuff gets more recognised... Top track though
What do you guys think about Michael Christmas?
Never liked him really. Although I kinda like how he just has flows for fuckin' days. Most of it's pretty boring. Something I'd throw on in the background or if it came on shuffle. Nothing special though.
ACK- REE- IT
Uzi Thuggin when?
Weebs have penetrated rap
Fingers crossed for a Lil Uzi X Thugger relationship tbqh
So what did everyone think of Kanye's new song?
I went in excepting them to be average, as I haven't really been impressed by Kanye the last couple of years, but I was completely blown away by Real Friends, and the snippet of No More Parties.
Not at all.
According to this list Missy Eliot is a worse rapper than MGK.
Missy Eliot shouldnt even be on this list.
Any shitter can vote on this list fyi, thats why it's shit.
New KSIOlajideBT track for all y'all interested in real hip-hop.
i loved everything he dropped in 2015
found the better version
godamn kendrick looks different
>why are these threads so dead
b/c all you guys ever talk about is young thug
what the fuck up
andersoon paaks got a hell of a voice, he just needs to not ruin it by doing too many nigga-nigga and drinkings songs
even though this is one of those songs, I still hope he'll do more colabs with knxwledge man, he's the next dilla man I feel it.
Why do niggas take Post Malone seriously when he not only was a part of a large Minecraft channel on YouTube.
But he also released this monstrosity of a song while wearing booty shorts.
this is a longshot but i was looking for a song that featured a answering machine skit towards the end involving the sister(?) of the rapper. Thought it was J Cole but it seems I was wrong, maybe Gambino? I'm pretty sure the song was about the pressures of wealth/fame.
fuck off hopsin, don't you have a game to change?
cornrows, dreads, it's all the same to me. that hightop thing he had around when GKMC came out looked nice.
what does /hhg/ think of this masterpiece?
Chief Keef- Finally Rich Leftovers
It's about 40 songs from Finally Rich sessions that aren't on the album. At least half the songs are as good as anything that made it. I know it's a lot of people's favorite Keef project, and this is about 3 more albums worth of a similar sound.
256kbps / No DJ w/ Original Covers/Features & Production Credits in the Info
Apparently Hopsin lost his record label.
Dizzy and Jarren are gonna become GOATs now that le DID meme man is no longer poisoning them.
i've never even heard of him and didn't even watch the video, but any time someone posts real hip hop, unironically or not, it could be hopsin posting. and if it is, you gotta tell him to get lost.
this guy's whole career bewilders me
essential UK entry level for anyone that wants it
also new ghetts freestyle, always hilarious
so it's not even two weeks into 2016 and Lil Boosie has already put out the saddest album of the year.
Listen to this album
Fair, if he can put out shit thats as good as his last release I can see it.
Awful is meh aside from Father, Ethereal, and KCSB. Carti can be hit or miss, the apparent frank ocean collab is definitely weird. Almost as weird as the Rich the Kid and Frank Ocean collab
i think awful are pretty bad, i only enjoy their famous tracks desu
i think they put out a lot of garbage with occasional gems (the above)
i think they'll be odd future popularity next year
I am thinking of throwing a party
Any good Recc
I want some shit like YG,problem, Dom Kennedy, RJ,
Shit like this
Most clubs play dj mustard style beats
My YG radio on Pandora is almost all that, when I'm feeling devilish
these type of lightskin nigga songs also help get you laid cus ladies love em, just put search chris brown or Omarion or some shit
I can see why many people dislike Awful, but theres some hidden gems if you look hard enough. Here's some of my favorite tracks from them if you're open to the listen.
Slug is real hit or miss, he has a few decent songs, but nothing that could resonate on tumblr like muh arizona iced tea and yung lean did
aye wtf happened to sage
he just disappeared
That's grime la
UK hip hop is great and there's plenty of heads doing shit outside of the whole grime scene
Check the sticky and find the Hip Hop charts and go from there
Have a freebie
when I started listening to rap a couple a of years ago, I started off mesmerized with oldschool west coast sound, and was one of those "todays rap sucks" idiots, but slowly I discovered drake, then future, then started listening to today's west coast, like yg and sage, and now I love all and am /rap/head
IT'S FUCKING HAPPENING GUYS
WHOEVER READS THIS BUMP GET THE FUCK IN HERE
The thing about hip hop is that its not really one cohesive genre. If you want to get an understanding of 90s east coast, listen to Illmatic (by Nas) and Midnight Marauders (by A Tribe Called Quest). If you want an understanding of early 2000s listen to Late Registration (Kanye) and Food and Liquor (Lupe fiasco). Modern hip hop is a clusterfuck of different sounds so I'd have no idea how to direct you, but My Beatiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Kanye) and Pinata (Freddie Gibbs & Madlib) are great.
Post what you're listening to atm.
>madlib and scarface
I wish they made a collab album.
What do you think about my rhymes /mu/, i call noble numibian?
MA MADAFUGHA BIX NOOD MODDAFUGGHA

nip rap is where its at
fuck off weeb
go back to your containment board autist
Being a long time metalhead and Rush fan, I've taken to listening Illmatic (I was listening to Till I Collapse and Em cited Nas, and I've heard the name before somewhere, one thing led to another...). Goddammit, Nas is a true beast, and I'm for sure looking for some other similar guys out there. Any reccomendations? I don't give a lick about supposed "feeling", I'm mainly looking for technical ability, storytelling, clever wordplay and such. Thanks in advance!
Pls m8, it just so happens that I find more technical ability in these genres in specific than I thought possible in hip-hop, until Nas and Immortal Technique proved me otherwise. It doesn't help that the hip-hop I grew up listening to was national product and by default pure undistilled garbage.
>you will never listen to moment of truth for the first time again
I wish I didn't know this feel
>that entire album
>preemo's preemo beats
I fucking loved that album. In my top 3 of favorite albums of all time.
It means so much to me, especially as a black person. Guru is a great lyricist because instead of just riding the oppression card he admits and acknowledges the we as a black community have to take a proactive approach in bettering our communities and fight our own social problems not relay on failed institutions.
Even /pol/tards can appreciate moment of truth.
>In order for things to change we must all play a part
>It's easy for us to blame society
>But now it's way too late, and we must take responsibility
>To all my brothers in the streets
>I know you feel you gotta hustle cause your peeps gotta eat
>Makin moves right and exact; don't wanna see you layin flat
>Don't wanna see ya catch a bullet black
>If we don't build we'll be destroyed
>That's the challenge we face in this race of poor and unemployed
I fucking love Guru, god bless him.
I especially like the if we don't build we'll be destroyed line
>Freud a philosopher
>but I'm a realist so philosophize this
>without love we won't exist
I didn't cry the entire ceremony until that last verse, didn't stop for 2 days after that.
Very powerful stuff
