look up "stella kashiwa daisuke" on youtube, it starts out very glitch but moves into a series of connected and similar progressions, that build on to eachother, i'm a huge pleb and when i listened to it for the first time i was put off by the glitchiness and ignored it, when i went back to it i resisted the urge to skip ahead and saw how the glitchiness at the start actually was building so well for the later moments of the song.

I'm not a big metal fan at all, but Uroboros by Dir en Grey is a fucking must-listen.

Dir en Grey have changed their sound a lot from when they started out, so you might like some of their earlier stuff too, but I don't think they've ever done anything as good as Uroboros.

As someone who's favorite album is Re: (so underrated, it takes a lot of listens to really get into it, I used to think it was meh), I can confirm this. However the first ~6 minutes of Stella are better than most of Write Once. The middle of Write is perfection though.
