ITT: Who did it better?
>>73249260
mewithoutYou hands down
>>73249260
mewithoutYou, easily.
>>73249260
I get that there are some similarities but mewithoutYou is miles ahead and doesn't try and sell their shit with fake sentimentality and shit like such small hands
What's wrong with closed headphones?
Someone on another board told me to come ask you guys.
>>73249252
go ask /g/
>>73249269
Okay.
>>73249252
Nothing, better option than in ear trash
Do I need to buy an amp with my headphones? What particular headphones need an amp?
every device with a headphone output (your notebook, your phone, ipad, whatever) already has an amp in it, otherwise you wouldn't hear shit
if that amp is loud enough depends on the sensitivity of your headphones
so just try it
Well this is what we have to look forward to. Email notifications.
What the fuck is wrong with these people? Is it really that difficult to reskin a site while keeping the majority of the functions in place?
What kind of demographic are they trying to appeal to? Who do they have advising them, and who exactly are they polling in order to come up with these ideas? How small is their dev team, and what are their dayjobs because it certainly seems like working on the site is a casual hobby.
What is their endgame?
Also post profiles or whatever if you still use the Last.fm
like 70% of the scrobbles on my last.fm account are from 2012 or earlier, not because I listened to more music back then, but because it's just a hassle to use now especially since the radio changed to some spotify bullshit that I'm never going to make an account for.

The radio was the main reason I used the site and maintained a subscription. When they did away with it (and the ability to see who lurked your page) I canceled.
In one of the threads in the community support forum, somebody asked what the point was of even having a subscription since everybody uses adblockers these days. The response from staff was "to support the project."
Another lulzy thread was one where somebody asked about the groups/forums, and the staff told them to go to the the LFM subreddit if they wanted to talk about music with other users.
Their Alexa rank is around 1700, which is really surprising.

fuck
im really afraid they will just shut it down any day now
i only really use it to see my statistics, but it would suck to lose almost 4 years of data, even if thats not a lot compared to what other people have there
>Be me
>Seeing Sigur Ros yesterday after they cancelled at Hangout Music Festival
>Awesome set, one of my favorites now
>Move up front to try to get a setlist
>One setlist is near me but is behind the barrier, so i wait patiently in the hopes that one of the staff will come down and hand it to one of us
>Fucking degenerates/normies start yelling "Get over the barrier" and some fucking bitch jumps over and runs and grabs it
>Try getting another setlist but a gril has a guy bend over on the barrier while she holds his feet to grab the last setlist
>Take a picture of it at least
It's impossible. That's just last nights experience but it's also happened at Joseph, MGMT, and Phoenix.
what are the most lengthy albums you've listened to
Field Recordings of Owls - The Complete 7 disc set
>>73249130

>going to a concert
>playing the band's music at the tailgate
Oh well, at least the singles were good I guess.
>>73249064
most of the album was good you're trippin
Is there a more obvious example in music of one member of a band wanting to go one way and another wanting to go another than in the Beach Boys?
Not as obvious as OP but still.
>One mostly stuck with the southern hip hop style
>One ventured more into other genres as his career progressed
>Eventually lead them both to making seperate studio albums as one album.
The Velvet Underground. Duh.
>>73249058
Forgot pic.
what are the best posh isolation releases?
Posh Isolation is an awful, derivative, calculated label.
All fashion and no long-term substance whatsoever.
More like this? Piano-heavy post-rock.
Is she the queen of music in spanish?
I didn't know Melanie Martinez sang in spanish
VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN

Are music critics the most insufferable people on the planet?
>rym reviewers
>music critics
Pick one and only one.
But the answer is yes.
that's not a music critic, that's just some dude
>tfw my only skill is the ability to rationally critique music and video games.
>tfw absolutely hate reading reviews for music and video games.
Why must it be like this
