Not a /mu/ regular, but noticed something interesting today when listening to a classic rock station.
Back to the Future soundtrack (1985):

There's a particular, iconic musical phrase that crops up all over the soundtrack in different arrangements and at different tempos. Unless somehow you've never seen these movies, you know what I mean. In particular listen to the portion starting at 35:54.
Now listen to this (The Moody Blues - Tuesday Afternoon (1967))

4:25
...
Know what the strangest thing is? Tuesday Afternoon originally appeared on the album "Days of Future Passed".
that's pretty coincidental OP. It only kinda sounds like the Back to the Future theme. still pretty cool though
What's so good about this album?
the piano keys in "we are the music makers"
it is intelligent
everything
Now that the dust has settled and we are being contrarian toward different kinds of music, can we at least agree this album wasn't bad?

Last time I discussed early MCR on /mu/ people shit all over me, granted that was a few years back.
I have been listening to this album once a month pretty much since 2005, never gets old to me. Every track is great and unique in its own way which is rare in the modern day.
ITT: God Tier live performances
Bonus points if most people wouldn't expect this artist to be a God Tier live performer

5-30 second experimental "songs", or lines of dialogue. Like On/Off on Human After All, or all that quick filler shit on Humanz.

the build-up before the mosh part in punk-derived genres such as hardcore punk, thrash metal, post-hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, nu-metal and groove metal.
The build-up before the beat drop in modern EDM music since Darude-Sandstorm

how many new songs do you love and listen on repeat at month?
it is normal that even if I listen dozen of albums every week i still don't have any favourites every month? right now I may have 2 or 3 and im getting tired already, I remember being 13 and having dozen of songs wich I love and listen on repeat every week, how did this went down? anyone know this feel? it is because the high amount of music we consume in little time? because I used to download singles songs back in the good days
Linkin Park is not the last great rock band, its tame impala
>>74082058
