it's basically one of a kind. i mean, if you actually want something like THAT exactly, even within the ymo discography, the album that follows is different.

but in general the entire ymo discography is gold

everytime I find an album that sounds like this, I look on the album credits and it never fails -- oh it was produced by one of the members of YMO

I guess its really their signature style

there's 2 versions of that first album by the way, the original 1978 alfa records mix, followed by the 1979 a&m records mix. i'd listen to both to hear the different mixes especially on tracks like tong poo and mad pierrot

After many years of consideration, I decided that Painkiller is unmistakenly the best metal album ever released. Every song on it is 10/10, and A Touch of Evil is simply astounding (so not sure if you are bating or just shit-tasting).
Living Bad Dreams is a bonus track so... It is a nice song, but yeah it's not on par with the rest
