The "Japanese New Music Festival" with Atsushi Tsuyama, Makoto Kawabata, Ruins, Zoffy, Akaten, Zubi Zuva, Psyche Bugyo, Acid Mothers Temple SWR (it's actually only three musicians)
Especially Tsuyama, he "played" objects like a cd, an egg slicer, a bottle of water and his pants zipper, all singing in broken english
It was funny as fuck

Math rock is for the plebs in denial. They just want to be some kind of hyper patrician so they listen to shit with some random time signatures. It's the same as the plebs that listen to djent and prog metal or even classical to look cool.

but on top of that it's also genuinely uplifting, dare i say "epic," and well thought out structurally and harmonically, once you get past all the kookiness and shit production (kinda like black metal in general i would say)
