Griffins are from Egypt, Unicorns are from from Indus Valley(Middle East), Pegasi are Greek, Sirens are Greek, Manticore are Persian, Cockatrice are English, Bunyips are from Australian natives and minotaurs are Greek. Cloudsdale is based off Greece, yes, but every other location in the show is new cloth. The show takes a lot of influence from Greece, but I wouldn't say they based the lore off it. And most of the mythological beasts are original or taken from cultures all over the world. MLP is more of a melting pot of mythology. Every culture, from Australia to Africa, is represented.

As mentioned above, Manticores are Persian, Cockatrice are English, nearly every country had a sun god, it's hardly unique to Greece, and Ursa Major and Minor are constellations that feature in every northern hemisphere culture. Just because it looks Greek doesn't mean it is.

I'm not arguing against the border, I think it looks neat and I'd help build it, I just don't think that the lore of the show is based off of Greece culture. It borrows a lot from it, primarily because Greek culture was and is a large influence in Western Culture and easily recognizable, but the show isn't shaped by that connection. As mentioned above, the lore of the show takes from all cultures, and even throws in a huge amount of its own merits as well. I don't look at Equestria and think 'this is Greek,' I look at Equestria and think 'this is Equestrian.'

Outside of Tartarus and the monsters, there's not really much tying Equestria to Greece.

Been working on cleaning this up this morning. The background is solid now, and I cleaned up most of the lines/shading of the body. Still have yet to attempt to tackle the mane or the cutie mark, those look the hardest. I am syncing the 000webhostapp page with the herokuapps and botfag templates.

But the wings of the Fluttershy on the Canvas were always different than the wings on herokuapp... and nobody fixed this for a week... the same was the case with 2 or 3 /vp/ templates.
And because nobody was working on them for days and everyone seemed to be ok with it, i just assumed that the Canvas won and took the current status of the Canvas as Template, so that it won't be on top of the "Sort by Pixels left" list forever.

This was working fine with the 2 /vp/ templates, because the canvas really decided how they should look like.... but it was a massive failure for Fluttershy, because now this template had "3 wrong pixels" instead of the 56 from before, and people saw it and thought "oh, just 3 pixels, i will fix this" and were fighting against themselves.
Nobody cared and nobody was fixing anything when it was 56px.

I will learn out of my mistakes and will sync the fluttershy back to the herukoapp-template.

What is with the random times you have to wait between applying one pixel? Some times it's 30 seconds. Other times, it's 90 seconds. I've gotten some 150 second time outs as well.
