Amending Fences wasn't that bad but Crusaders was fucking awful and basically ruined the CMC forever and basically feels like a cop-out excuse to make less CMC episodes and make way for the Glimmer episodes to fill that gap.

When I started rotating the picture in order to get a better angle to draw the line, my lines became a little neater and much much easier to draw. I literally found myself pressing undo less than half the amount than I normally would. Though I honestly should really work on my color theory. Greyscale can be cool too. There's a certain charm to just pure linework. That sniffing Glimmy pic is one of my personal favorites. I don't usually do traditional, and I thought the black and white coloring of her made her look nice and innocent. I dunno, that's just me I guess.

And then do all the animals and monsters not sexually reproduce too? The staff put a lot of work in making the bird species accurate despite the art style. So they seem to be identical to our world's. We know phoenixes have eggs. The episode where Tank hibernates mentions reptiles. So they have classifications similar to Earth. Then would mammals exist? If so then they'd have mammaries (that's where the name mammal comes from). Are ponies mammals? Then they'd have teats. What about the pretty consistent sexual dimorphism and there being males and females? Dimorphism goes beyond just tumblr's thing about constructs after all. That would at least indicate some kind of sexual reproduction even if it's not our sexual reproduction. This just gets really whacky if you can't take Lauren's word for it.
