So, fringe theory here.

Remember the Sushi Rider rumor? Around that time, a very popular artist named "Yusuki" was gone for a while until just after the image surfaced. He didn't explain anything about what happened other than being "busy." The reason I bring this up is because the art-style of the sushi rider matches Yusuki's art-style.

He tweeted a month ago exactly that he was sorry for not posting anything for an entire month. Around the same time, the silhouettes of Kamen Rider Build appeared. In that same series of Tweets, he's talking about how he won't be using his Twitter for a while because he'll be too "busy" and said he wants to make a comeback in "Spring of 2018," which would be around the same time as the Kamen Rider Build final concept art info this year and the Kamen Rider Ghost final concept art info two years ago.

So the theory is I think Yusuki, who is already popular and I'm pretty sure already has a job with Bandai as it is, is getting the Rakugaking treatment. For reference, Rakugaking worked on Ex-Aid's monster designs, and has already moved on roughly around the same time Yusuki would've gotten on.

This is also totally a pointless theory in general, but if it's true then you'll have an idea as to who's designing the suit.

Came up with some ideas for a "What If Kamen Rider had caught on in the USA past Ryuki?" scenario on Americanized Riders

Faiz: They don't do the hot potato on the drivers. Less rapey.
Blade: Zookeeper kid must hunt down vengeful nature spirits and comes into conflict with a biologist, a big game hunter, and some Tarzan guy
Hibiki: Downplay the oni thing, play up the rock and roll superhero aspect
Den-O: Marty McFly type and totally not Doc Brown use the inventor's super science train and robotic allies to travel thru time
Kiva: A more conventional superhero succession story where a a kid discovers that he's half-vampire and his father was a dracula-themed superhero. He's mentored by his dad's three former monster mash servants to fight the newly emboldened Fangires and the secret Illuminati-esque organization that wants them all dead
Decade: Much smaller-scale crossover
W: Adoptive brothers Hardy Boy types. Same basic plot, but Accel is an older PI that wants them off of the case as he's been investigating it for longer
OOO: "Gambling is Bad" show. A young man inherits a massive debt from his deadbeat dad and has to work it off as OOO. Ankh is all about the Dairy Queen now
Fourze: Same basic plot, but Virgo is an actual woman
Wizard: Harry Potter but with Riders and actually evil Dumbledore. Gay donut guy is gone
Gaim: Megahex is now the big villain, but Kaito is still final boss. Fruit Ninja jokes everywhere
Drive: Illegal Street Racer is given an offer of a reduced sentence if he'll help fight evil androids as Drive. The Banno equivalent uses Dark Drive's suit for his resurrection and he fights Drive (as Type Special) instead of Mach at the end of the show
Ghost: Cameraman of a Ghost Hunters type show actually busts ghosts in his spare time. A lot of it is helping spirits pass on while fending off villains that want to use the energy of the undead to power some kind of doomsday device
Ex-Aid: Throws away the doctor gimmick. It's basically Level Up

Kabuto is Yonemura and Inoue working on a show together. It's like a dream team, only the opposite. I've watched a lot of Rider and I don't think I've ever seen one that's written worse than Kabuto in terms of the sheer number of times the story contradicts itself or brings up an idea never to mention it again. Like, say what you will about Wizard or Ghost, which both aren't very good, but at least you can follow what's happening from episode to episode as part of an overarching story. At least all the actors actually bothered to show up on set each week. At least major characters didn't totally invert their personalities on a dime because the two writers had completely different ideas of what they should be like where one wanted them to be a serious rival and the other wanted them to be a retarded clown. The suits, effects, and choreography in Kabuto still hold strong, but it's an awful show from an awful period of Rider.

Honestly, Ghost isn't so bad that I'd say you should skip it if you're going to watch Wizard. It's not great, to be sure, but it's more maligned on /krg/ than it probably deserves. Same with Wizard. Both look worse because the surrounding shows are so good, and they both had the potential to be just as good and wasted a lot of it. I personally think Wizard wastes a lot more of its potential than Ghost. They're still both visual delights, and have some good chunks, they just don't deliver what they could have if not for laziness on the part of the writers.

If nothing else, it's worth watching them to have a sense of what 00s Rider was generally like. Both Wizard and Ghost would have been considered above-average shows of the time by avoiding completely fucking themselves over.

Some unanswered questions on my mind

1. What exactly is Kiriya's game? I can guess that he made a deal with Masamune when they were talking in prison, but whose side is he really on?

2. Hinata is the key to all of this. I'm pretty sure of that, and its not just Masamune. But I'm wondering how they might reveal it, or if it will just be a neglected plot point.
3. Will anything be done with Poppy and Emu?
4. With the speed that this plot is developing, how many more episodes will we most likely get? I hate to think the series will end soon

Kiriya's thing has a little subtlety to it that I didn't notice till Japs on twitter pointed it out. Before programming, he used Yakuza style front kicks to assault Emu and transform. After getting blasted, he reverts to using his old, slightly more heroic roundhouse kicks. He's probably working on looking good for Masamune so he'll keep getting rewarded Proto-gashats which he could turn over to Emu when he's ready to get killed again.

As for Hinata, nothing really makes me think he's suspicious, so I'd like to know why you think so.

Firstly, lets not forget what Kiriya said: that Emu was too trusting of Hinata. It was also mentioned that Masamune was also involved in the same operation on Emu that Hinata was involved in.

I don't think Hinata's an outright bad guy, but it doesn raise some eyebrows. Oh, and lets not forget: Hinata was the one who passed the WonderSwan to Emu. It was the one thing Kiriya found out about the operation.
