One thing I can say about Ex-Aid that's pretty unique compared to a lot of recent seasons is how proactive they are about involving the public for their own benefit. Instead of skulking around trying to do everything in secret, they actually announce the bugster virus and existence of bugsters to the public, as well as informing everyone about the Kamen Riders that treat them. And with this recent story arc, they were actually smart enough to announce to the public that Kamen Rider Chronicle was dangerous, rather than just trying to play catch up with it. I mean, the bugsters counter this with a lie that draws people back in, but it's still more logically smart than more seasons that just ignore the general populace until they become victims.

1) Decade's project was decided in a short period of time
2) Aikawa worked on it on a very tight schedule. He only worked on the main plot, and some of the episodes he has disagreement with Shirakura.
3) Shirakura wanted a journey themed Decade with Decade revisit and gain power from the past. Aikawa decided to make it Rider war.
4) Not using original actor was also Aikawa's idea, for there has been ordered for not using the original's plot in Decade.
5) Shirakura wanted Decade standing side by side with his predecessor. Aikawa wanted Decade to fight with his predecessor. Bandai wanted Decade to transform into his predecessor.

I think one of the things I love the most about Ex-Aid is that they keep bringing the Bugsters we already know but leveled up.

For some this might be lazy on Toei's part, but it really makes sense considering they come out of the games Genm Corp made.

It also makes them feel more like characters and less like MOTWs.
