There's a special weapon property, "Q" (and it has to be that special Japanese letter instead of normal Q) that does that.

The Alt Eisen in SRC Dungeon has a weapon with that property because Impact stats lol.

Pretty much. It's a re-doing of my last attempt at making a cast list that generally goes with a theme of magic-based series vs. post apocalypse. The original concept was something of a "surface Earth sucks, inner Earth is a fantasy world" kind of thing, but if that concept could be altered to where there's little involvement of an inner-earth, I wouldn't mind.

As for obscurity, I have no excuse; I don't know most of these things aside from basic concepts, which hampers the coherence of my lists a bit.

Now that all the characters know about the past cycles and the void memories do you think next OG games will use them in general? Like, not only mention it only during the final boss of OGMD while dropping plot, or during save skits, but actually using it regularly, in the story, comedy and gameplay?
Like, when seeing Touya getting scared, some characters could tell him stuff like "don't worry, all of this already happened in a previous cycle, you'll probably be fine".

So, time for a cast concept idea. I was just imagining a series list comprising of mostly low-tech entries on earth's part. Anything with more outlandish strength or power sources would be impossible with their tech, so basically, most any Super would need to be born of alien origin, or something from ancient civilization.

Mostly I thought that OYW Gundam and Dragonar would be the standard for Earth tech, and then stuff like Raideen, Gorg, Grendizer and Zambot would be the kind of Supers allowed. With all the supernatural forces against them, eventually the human wars would need to sideline themselves and team up to combat the real menaces.

Anybody got some suggestions to what else might for that? Once I'm back home I might try to actually compile a list for the concept.

Pretty much. SRWJ isn't great, but I think people have gotten too hard on their hateboners for it. Honestly, It's the best GBA SRW and set SRWW on the right path. I like D's story better, but the gameplay and graphics aren't all that great, and I love R's cast list, but same problem as before (and it's easy as fuck)

Alright, so I'm facing a difficult decision.
Excuse the blogpost, but long story short I have access to two computers, one of which is portable.
This means I can have a "primary" SRW to get footage of/other miscellany, while having a "secondary" SRW on the other.
At the same time, I have a shared drive between those computers.
With that, I'm given the choice to work on the same game (Compact 1) on both computers, or work with another SRW (preferably a handheld) on the secondary.
So, ultimately, the options are:
A) Work on Compact exclusively until I've finished uploading everything relevant (that is, first and foremost, unit attacks)
B)Work on Compact on the primary computer but work on another handheld SRW on the secondary, which then begs the question of which to pick.

So I'm still trying to get through my five runs of Z3-1 and I've come across a glitch of some sort. Put simply, whenever I try to go to the unit upgrade screen, the game freezes. Nothing works, it doesn't even transition to that actual screen.

It was fine when I went on a route split but now that the routes have joined up again, it's crashed once more. Not sure what the problem is of if there's anything I can do to fix it, has anyone else encountered this?

It's been a while but typically you'll want to look at the character's Skill Stat and the amount of PP on hand.

If you can pump it up to high levels and still get Attack Again, go for it.

Not every character benefits from it. Anyone with an ALL Attack as his most abusable move isn't gonna get a lot of mileage from it.

Characters like Gainer (Ace bonus SKILL+) and the Aquarion Cast (read up on how ELEMENTS works) will get the most efficiency out of it.

I seem to recall Shinn and Amuro being really good choices for Attack Again, but like I said it has been a while.

Experiment and go nuts. You're not really losing anything. Z1 can be a challenging game the first time around, but by the time you later portions of the game and on replays you'll have a really easy time just doing whatever and still getting away with it.

Will+ (Kill) is only really necessary for Gainer in Z1. In Z2, there's a couple more contenders for that skill.

You can skip Ignore Size if your main moves have the tag on it.

I think I actually understood more by reading the romanization. Basically, a school gets transported to a fantasy world, shit happens and someone wants to wipe them out and the MC uses Daisword to fight those guys in order to get everyone back.

Destiny has better units, better music and better crossover potential. That and the strike gundam is pretty shitty and the impulse is more fun to use if we go by starting units, and having ZAKUs beats the hell of having the mobius zero and the skygraspers.

fuck right off. the Perfect Strike is the utterly WORST Seed design because by all means, its ankles should shatter the instant it needs to land on the ground. it simply has too much shit on its back. nevermind that each of the packs fight against eachother.

the Sword and Launcher weigh down the Aile, reducing the Mobility it's supposed to have.

the Sword needs two hands, but because the Launcher's in one, your sword swings are left to be sloppy and easy to read.

you need both hands and a firm stance to fire the Launcher, but because your buzzing around with the Aile and holding the Sword, you spin around like an idiot the instant you fire because of the Recoil.

plus. there's already a Striker pack that's a three-in-one. it's called the IWSP. yes, it's more a "Jack of all trades" machine, and yes, the gattling shield makes you drift a bit, but at least that has some design mentality behind it rather than "Let's slap a bunch of shit to the strike!"

Yep, that's the 50s. It's supposed to be pretty soon post-WW2, the only time inbetween being enough to let Shotaro grow to 10 or so.

I think 80s Tetsujin takes place later though. FX definitely does, but it's a sequel, so that makes sense.

Joking aside, the reason the two ended up as friends is because they were together fighting the Skrugg and Doctor West for a while offscreen in UX - they leave after stage 4 or so and you pick them up on a route split like 10 stages after that (and finish off both the Skrugg and Demonpain).

It'll be hard to bullshit a reason for Shotaro, who's in Japan, and Kurou, who's American, to spend a lot of time together like that. Unless you move Arkham to Japan or something dumb.
