I just watched GoGoV and poor my Dinas, her family is one fucked up family. I think, poor everyone in her siblings except maybe Salamandas cause he got his mother's consent but in the end, he's still just a pawn. What a bitch.

Anyway, I can relate to Daimon cause he's the youngest guy in the siblings like I do, and my other siblings tend to be stricter to me like Daimon cause I guess, we had enough love coming from our parents, being the doting youngest and all. After seeing World Ninja Jiraiya pop up in Ninninger I tried another search for subs and found some crappy english ones.

Its Really funny when toku shows make fun of American racism. Like how the first big evil boss of Super Sentai appeared looking like a Ku Klux Klansman with the white hood and when Maskman freed the slaves from the underground labor camp they were forced into and beat up the slave masters.

Well in Jiraiya he has to fight ninjas from all over the world, we had a european Christian ninja, Chinese Kung Fu ninja, an African Jungle ninja..now i've gotten to the episode whith the American ninja

The american ninja is a Vietnam War veteran who became an expert with his Rocket Launcher in vietnam. ..His ninja outfit looks like a Klansman hahahaha.

Yasushi Nirasawa who provided the character designs for Gokaiger and for KR Blade, Kabuto, Den-O, and Decade passed away.

Really liked his design for Basco true form which is one the best villain suit designs in years.

Are you folks watching the Imagination Station subs? Are they decent?

So I'm about 30 episodes into Shinkenger and it's good, like all of the characters are fun and such but I've often seen it compared very favorably against Goseiger and it just irks me. I mean, I know there's the circumstance that Shinkenger was the first series a lot of new (at the time) fans watched and the series after your first is often disliked for the simple fact that it's not the series that preceded it. It happened to me with my first transition too so I know it's a real phenomena. Not to mention the fact that Goseiger was sandwiched between muh serious nippon *unsheathes katana* series and a fun and creative anniversary series that provided an entry point for even more fans in Gokaiger (which I feel is on the same level as Shinkenger, pretty much just about great but not amazing). Goseiger got shortchanged in my eyes. I think it's a very underrated series. But that's just my opinion, man.

Zyu's got a cool premise with the whole mythological thing, but it's not really developed. Also, Burai's death arc is just horrible and the climax is forced, the acting was really bad.

I'd say Zyu holds a lot of the 80's sentai formula (not caring that much for a greater plot, having each episode a plot of its own, etc), but come on, it stands between Jetman and Dairanger...

JAKQ and Turbo have different main translators (Sky and Shourikan respectively) so stopping Turbo wouldn't speed up the pace of JAKQ if that's what you meant

To be fair she probably was the the least useful of the Gokaigers inbetween Red's leadership, Blue's master swordsmanship, Pink's peacemaking, Green's technical expertise, and Silver's Sentaism and Imagination. Luka was a good thief but that doesn't really come into play when fighting the empire, she's at least a better fighter than Don.

Kyoryu is great other than the last episode (and even then the penultimate episode is great). The Daigo hate is exaggerated (while he solos more than he should, the plot doesn't revolve around him any more than other reds), the cast is utterly lovable and it is just crazy energetic fun. Don't expect a tight plot, just go along with the ride.

I think you're thinking metal heroes as a class only of police guys, but it's not right. The scope is bigger: armor (do not use spandex), transformation, sword finishers, own custom vehicle (car, tank, bike, ship), got 1 or more sidekicks along the history, got a show with his own name... It's a formula with many variables.

Take a look, for example, at other characters: Bicrossers, Metalder, Machineman... Some people say they're not Metal Heroes because... they were created by Shotaro Ishinomori... or because Toei got only part of the creation... or because some other show was made by it's rival Toho... All of this is just bullshit. The variables are already there...

Jiraiya is definitely the most different. Agreed. But it's not that odd: it has the exact same other features... Only the theme (ninjas) is the different part.
