>More Zyuohger Info
>Suit Actor Information
Ryoko Gomi (Shironinger, ToQ #3, Kyoryu Cyan [female]) and Ayumi Shimozono (Kyoryu Violet) are 100% confirmed to be portraying ZyuohShark and ZyuohTiger respectively.
The rest of the ranger suit actors are Kousuke Asai (Akaninger, ToQ #6, Kyoryu Green), Yuji Nakata (Aoninger), and Yasuhiro Takeuchi (Kininger, ToQ #4, Kyoryu Black, etc.). This is a bit of speculation, but there is a very strong possibility that Asai is ZyuohEagle (his second red ranger) considering he has top billing from the JAE website.
Mizuho Nogawa (Momoninger, ToQ #5, Kyoryu Pink, etc.) and Masashi Takada (Starninger, ToQ #2, Kyoryu Blue) are not currently listed as participating in Zyuohger.
Further speculation: based on actor heights, Takeuchi is likely portraying ZyuohLion, while Nakata has the part of ZyuohElephant.
Toei has also released a 3 minute trailer, so I'll put it here with 2 Teasers.

>Watch Zyuogher trailer
>Heroes have square cubes morphers
>City gets attacked by triang
>Cube has a number pad
what a waste of a whip sword
>Posts on /m/
>Uses the word megazord
what a waste of a poster
because they watch sentai. Calm down.
I think PR is shit too.But there is no need to always get angry when someone posts using those terms. Though if you're visiting the mecha board you really shouldn't be calling a mech a Zord.Just kindly tell them the correct term if it bothers you so much.
>A device that morphs
>not a morpher
>Shinkenger vs Go-onger.
spoils that Go-onger's villains become good later.
>Goseiger vs Shinkenger
spoils that one of shinkenger's villains survived
>sing and dance with us after the commercials!
>Lion is a brutish douche
100% okay with this
>Voice that might be Kushia singing out the name of the mechs
1000% okay with this
>same director as Ghost
How does this work? I'm legit confused.
>they still have tails in human form
I like how there looks to be less reliance on CGI for the robots and explosions in the trailer. Also that transformation is perfect.
>How does this work? I'm legit confused.
Shibasaki only directed two Ghost episodes, he isn't the main director. He'll be the main director for Zyuohger, directing important stuff like the first two episodes, and deciding how transformations and such will work visually.
Don't really feel like getting into this, but really it's not too difficult to not over translate.
>Let's have some fun after the break
Literally keeps the meaning and follows American television norms.
>another series where the generals are all defeated en masse without having rivalries with individual members of the team
Remember when each general got a whole episode to wrap up their story and have an epic battle?
I've not even seen her in series yet and she's already a god-tier girl.
And the show is meh enough that it makes stuff like that twice is good. Even though you know it's coming it's super easy to get hype for because other stuff is lackluster.
Dad!ninger getting to transform was based a fuck.
I want this bootleg Mobirate
It's written right in the title
And it's Hurricane Red and not HurricanRed, right ?
My favourite sentai.
It was one of my best childhood experience and when I decided to make a break with anime I tried looking at some episodes of it in 2012 and I got hooked again. I just wanted to watch some episode to have a good laugh at how cheesy it is, and 4 years after I've watched around 1500 episodes
It's pretty good. Great opening theme. Megumi a cute.
the combinaison of Lion and the color yellow makes him best JewOhja
Does Maskman ever pick up? I'm only 5 episodes in but I have to admit I'm not as interested in watching it as I thought I'd be.
If it doesn't, what Sentai do you guys think I should watch next? Red's what I've seen and Green is what I'm watching obviously.
>they get rid of juicy lipped disdainful high schooler in season 2
what the fuck bandai
This is a better look at it, anon. The weird Ranger Key / figure hybrids are pretty cool looking.
it's /ssg/ here anon
>boyfriend finds out that she fucked some dude from Niconico
>she has an outburst when he confronts her, causing her to get hit by a car while running away
Although, I'm pretty sure this was after she declined working on Season 2 because of other work.
>Atsushi Harada played Kamen Rider Delta and GoGreen
>in Kamen Rider 555
what kind of poetry is this ?
>the villain faction is set to be decidedly vicious.
You honestly can't take character descriptions 100% seriously. We'll have to wait and see how they're actually presented in the show.
KRDL has up to ep39
Generals megalink has them.
I'm sure someone is sitting on the entire series. And though the torrent can't be searched anymore I'd reckon it's still being seeded. I don't know much about torrents other than using them.
>I'm sure someone is sitting on the entire series.
Of course. You'd be a fool not to. I've got all of Zyuranger, Dairanger [though I'm missing the v2s for the first 5 episodes], and Kakuranger. I pretty much just download them right before SDCC or any sentai related event SHout is doing.
I tried using desu to search past threads and got nothing.
Where can i find the first Ontarity album and the character song album. I know the second Ontarity one was posted and someone had mentioned in that thread the first was posted in an earlier thread but it was long gone by the time I could find it.
Let me rephrase what I said: I really want to watch Time and Deka with not-shitty subs.
Not really. There are a few issues here and there, but they're absolutely watchable. At least, Zyuranger is; I haven't seen their Dairanger subs myself.
I've seen this art weeks ago and it never really made sense to me back then. It was just yesterday when I got two and two together when I heard the singer of the OP shouting "SAIKYOU NO OUJA! ZYUOHGER!" I had to listen again to check that I didn't just mishear the song.
>Best Bangai hero
Good one anon but seriously I would've chosen either Don or Ahim to be on my team.
>that 3 minute trailer
>that cube world
>that chain sword
>that cube animal roll call
>THAT FUCKING MUSIC IT'S SO FUCKING GOOD
I haven't been this excited for a sentai in a long time.
>I haven't been this excited for a sentai in a long time.
Me too and based on the promo Leo will be the fan favorite.
Kind of cool to think that so many ranger suit actors got their first time in the spotlight during Kyoryuger. Takeuchi is the only one who started before that. I'm pretty sure he's only missed 3 shows since his start in Ohranger, right?
>Zyuoh Cubes are basically the Origami from Shinkenger
The sixth often has something different about it; the main team has two animals as a gimmick. What if the sixth has hybrid animals like gryphons or hippocamps?
Alternatively, since it's an anniversary series and each member having two mechs already makes ten toys (the usual total), maybe there won't be a sixth at all.
Man, this song really is chill as fuck. I miss these more relaxed ones. Good for listening to while sitting around drinking whiskey while being sad about the fact you'll never put on spandex and fight to protect Earth.
GEE dude, have you even watched the 3 minute promotional trailer of ZyuOhGer? That 1st episode preview was all hype! I know we can't judge a series with its 1st episode but from its execution, man, it's hype train from here onwards.
Have you watched the 3 minutes promotional trailer? The aliens fucking attacked one of the cities of Zyuman with their jet fighters.
It kinda reminds me how everything started with the jet fighters attacking back in the old Sentai.
All girl Sentai, GO!
Shinken Red Hime
none- that would be Gao White
>>Best Bangai hero
Holy shit. I finally realized why the narrator for Zyuohger sounded so familiar. It's fucking Cho!
Yeah, I pretty much knew this guy would be a Ra Deus in terms of mobility.
Same here, although them pulling a Ramiel (or whatever other geometrical mecha enemy design) for the fighter ships is unexpected, yet interesting.
Will we ever get a villain who uses dirty tactics like remotely disabling henshin devices, attacking in the middle of a roll call, forcing the heroes to henshin and back until the power ran out, holding a mech hostage to avoid gattai and
avoids getting killed from a cannon finisher by simply dodging to the side
>final general of the villainous team
>cowardly and avoided combat
>the team readies a team cannon finisher
>it's going to be easy
>he skipped to the side
>he smirked and looked back at them
>"What? You guys thought I'd just stand still and get myself killed like the others?"
I hate to be that guy, but like, when? I don't really feel like spending 20 or so episodes on a series I'm not enjoying that much.
I don't usually have this problem, I don't know what's wrong with me.
If anyone's interested, here's a papercraft model of the ZyuohChanger, courtesy of TV Magazine.
Do you guys collect DX mecha? Figuarts? Change devices or other paraphernalia? I wanna start collecting and would like to see the mountains of plastic and diecast other people have amassed.
Guy, what are you wanting from a Sentai? Because it rarely takes more than five seconds from the start of a Maskman episode for something to explode or get punched in the face.
WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?!
I get a little bit of everything, to the point where I don't really have room for everything. Here's about half of them, the other half taking up the top shelf in a closet, hidden from the world. Also a Gaburevolver on a different dresser.
I'm trying my best to get the sentai versions of everything I have instead of the PR versions (Or at least the ones where the difference is more than just missing paint apps) but it's difficult for stuff like Muteki Shogun. Unless there's a Legacy Shogunzord or something I'm probably never gonna get that white arm.
the logical side of my brain says the DX's are just too big and too expensive to collect but that's a fucking awesome display. could you talk a little about these toys, a sentence or two is fine. how's the build quality, articulation, the engineering, paint apps, etc?
no pics because it's night, so I have :
>all Kyoryuger mechs except for Tobaspino
>around 40 keys
>Zyudenchi set DX
SMF and Dino Charge main mechs for my kids
DX Mechs certainly lean more on the expensive side and it's not a quick process to get them for a good price. 90% of what you see there was snatched from an eBay auction or bought on Jungle when the yen was weak (like right now) and the prices were low. Or just pure luck. Some guy on eBay listed all of the DaiTanken pieces for 11.95 and I jumped on that shit so fast. Next time I saw them put up another set it was 119.50. I immediately bought DaiBouken out of principal.
As far as articulation goes for almost all of the mechs it's nonexistent. The arms move. If you're lucky you can kind of get a knee joint on something like Ultimate DaiBouken or King Shurikenjin there but these aren't toys that do any dynamic posing. I collected Transformers for a good 2 year stretch and Sentai mechs are nowhere near close to the engineering of Transformers but they have better designs and a better overall presence. Mostly thanks to the size.
I started writing something about Wolkaiser being 'One of my favorites' but it really applies to every mech you listed. Grand Liner and Victory Robo were the first two purchases I made and they were really what made me want to get more. Grand Liner is probably one of the most simple to transform but the look of it is too damn cool. Not to mention Victory Robo fits inside. Always a plus. Victory Robo also has some die cast parts too so it's not as light as it might seem. In fact, none of them are. All of the mechs have an impressive weight to them and they're all very grounded. No chance of them getting knocked over. Not any of the ones I have, anyway. This applies mostly to the Sentai molds, though. Everything from Boukenger (Operation Overdrive) onwards uses new molds for the Power Rangers version and I had the PR GokaiOh and the entire makeup of EngineOh G12 and they always seemed a bit floaty compared to the Japanese versions. Like they skimped on the plastic.
Dekaranger Robo, as a good contrast to Victory Robo/Grand liner was my most recent purchase. With Dekabike Robo coming in the mail. I'm usually not a fan of light and sound on the mechs but Dekaranger Robo has an impact sensor inside and the sounds are great and the way that the light system words for the legs and the weapon storage is awesome and you can make giant handcuffs and despite it being probably the smallest DX Mech I've seen it's quite fun. Highly recommended.
Wolkaiser was a mech that I knew I wanted as soon as I saw it in Magiranger and it doesn't disappoint, it's a very unique mech among Sentai robots what with the centaur mode and the big ol' Wolzard it comes with. I probably paid quite a pretty penny for it but that didn't much matter to me, it's byootaful.
Black Daizyujin is the Legacy PR version. Incredibly weighty as there's a lot of diecast. It's based on the PR2010 mold rather than the old Daizyujin mold so it's a bit smaller and not quite as beefy looking but I never had the Megazord as a kid, the first one I got was whatever the Turbo version of VRV Robo was called. It fulfilled a dream for me even though I would have preferred the normal colors to the black version.
I wrote too much about toys /blog
This is a picture of my collection on the south wall of my toy room. It's a couple of years old so there's a lot more in it, it's just a mess now for painting so I don't have a current picture.
This is the north wall with mostly SIC's and SOC's. It hasn't changed much.
"dad how come your japanese dino charge megazord is a lot bigger and better?"
"because i made you"
holy shit. i don't think we were having a competition but you won.
don't sweat it! i appreciate the toyblogging. would you really have preferred the original colors to the black for the legacy megazord? i've only seen it in pictures but the black and gold seem like a cool color scheme
I'm sure the more uniform color scheme of the black and gold looks better but the original colors are iconic, in my eyes. It doesn't help that basically every opportunity I had to get the Megazord, be it ebay auctions of the original, the PR2010 mold, or the original Legacy Megazord I kept telling myself "Now now, Not now" and then it slipped through my fingers each time. It's a chase I'm still on despite the Black & Gold one satiating me for now
how would you rank the SOC super sentai mecha? i have magiking and would like to get another.
also i know this is /ssg/ and not /krg/ but do you have SIC sagozo? i love his look and wanted to know how the figure was.
>Will have a week hiatus starting Friday due personal matters.
To everyone following releases, no need to panic, everything will be back in order.
Would it be smart to get the ToQ charger for 15 bucks from amazon, and the ToQ-oh set for 75? The only mechs I've ever had was the PR train one from GoGoV, so I want to collect myself a new train set.
I like all of them a lot. Daizyujin is really striking and very iconic everyone of my friends recognize it. Next would be DekaRobo. The gun and sword he has make him great for action poses. Gokaiger is nice with the cannon sticking out of his chest. Shinkenger is okay he just doesn't have as mich "shelf presence" as the others.
>no Bandai early 90s monster figures.
You're all grounded.
Well, this is the only thing I have in my collection so far.
He sits with my Godzilla, Gamera and Ultraman plush to make sure the monster plushes don't pull any bullshit.
But I wish I could find the rest.
>tfw you'll never get a complete Delta Mega for less than 20 million trillion dollars
Anyone have the vinyl figures from Gingaman? The Galactic Beast or something? These guys?
Here's my Sentai collection. Except it's mostly Kamen Rider....and PR....actually I dont have a lot of sentai...
I still don't get why you guys said it was bad. It was okay.
How the fuck can you guys afford this stuff?
All I got are Power Rangers DVDs
They're not that expensive if you just shop around. DX toys are like $30, DX mechs are only $40 usually even when the show ends, and any DX collectible toys are usually like $4-8 outside of rares. It's really not that much of an expensive hobby, you just save up and then buy in bulk since shipping from Japan is annoying in how much it ends up costing.
It feels weird that Zyuohger is gonna be the series that gets me into sentai. I feel like I should probably not leap in with a currently airing series, but I'm just really into everything I've seen about this.
NinNinger is mediocre. It's fun to watch, but most of the characters are flat and static and most important things happen either too late or too early. StarNinger, DadNin and the robots ad toys are all cool, though.
Even when they tried to give characters some development it fell flat and happened too late.
"I'm a genius ninja! I do everything right and I'm soooo smart! Oh no! I failed this one time and NOW I DOUBT EVERYTHING and that's it."
"I don't care about being a ninja! Oh, wait! I guess I cared about being a ninja after all! I was scouted for a movie and now I don't know what my dream is but I'll figure it out someday and that's it."
etc, so on.
StarNinger was the only one who got any sort of complete arc.
Agreed. I waited all season for that and I'm so happy it happened. I want to protect his smile.
