If Gundam Wing were a more gorilla warfare series like 08th MS Team would it have been better?
How could we have turned GW into that kind of show?
>Man, official Wing art is so weird
Whatever shit they're going though looks massively interesting. I wouldn't mind watching the Alternate Universe in which this picture was created.
You know what he's talking about anon. Down in the trenches gritty shit with tactics and shit. 08th may have had a shitty romance that the story revolved around way to much but damned if the fighting wasn't awesome.
Gundam Wing has some pretty interesting official art that you really wish were in the actual show.
Not like that. Usually Gundam Wing official art is weird as fuck
You redesign the Gundams, to they're gundanium frames, armor and high end computers and reactors but every other component is sourced from whatever Oz grunt is popular and overclocked or something. Same goes for ammo.
The gatling on Heavyarms? Leo rifle ammo. Shenlong's flamethrower? Doped fuel. The cannisters to Wing's rifle? Modified reactor powerplants.
In this way, to continue fighting, they must continue fighting.
From there, you hugely abuse the conventional sensor absorbent properties of Gundanium. They are moved in secret, broken neatly down into parts that can be transported independently. Maybe for each, there's two or three sets of limbs or something, held in depots around the world, each slightly different - specialized to the common battlegrounds in those area - held in place by the supporters of the Gundams.
From there, each story would revolve around the Gundam pilot in their respective continent rallying up the people to fight alongside them -- the purpsose of their design being psychological warfare and to inspire revolt against Oz and the decentralization of the Alliance. You get these stories with two, maybe three named characters and separate arcs. Quatre is note-worthy for already having a millitia waiting for him ahead of time. Wufei for only managing to convince Sally because of his poor social skills.
It's a fucking library. Why do you need to rob a library?
How does a lie detecor work on a gorilla?
Super Green Beret was a really unfortunate book.
>Man, official Wing art is so weird. What other series deserve this treament /m/?
UC Gundam quadrilogy
Honestly, all of them. Homoerotic groups of protagonists in different settings doing things that aren't really related to the series they're from might actually be my fetish. Getter team in old-fashioned space suits at NASA? Yes. Amuro and Char in a rock band? Yes. I know they did it with TTGL but I can't remember if it was promotional material or after-the-fact "for funsies" stuff.
back in 1933 Mickey Mouse trained a robot to fight a gorilla
Is Trowa holding a spent casing from the Heavyarms or what? I'm imagining him making one of them in to a bongo to play along with Quatre now.
You know, that's not a bad idea. If you really want to make the good guys feel like they're outgunned in a Gundam show, have them be using Zaku derived units against Gundam style ones. There's so much cultural weight behind the idea of Gundam strong now that it'd immediately help the protagonists feel like they're fighting an almost hopeless fight.
Just a friendly reminder that there was a full grown bear fighting with the Polish division of the English infantry during World War II. And that he retired to Edinburgh Zoo following the end of the war, where he was famous for some years afterwards before he died. It's no guerrilla warfare, but it's the bare truth and some what related in that it's too cool to not make more people aware of.
That's basically what happened in the story.
> Pinky Donovan is a former marine and animal trainer who travels around with a gorilla named Charlie and puts on a show for the troops, involving Charlie dressing as a marine and fighting the "Japanese." When Pinky is called back to active service, he figures that's the end of the act.
Is GI Robot /m/?
Come up with a canon story idea for this /m/
Gundam Wing could have done well with some slight slice of live episodes/moments
>People actually believe this
I guess I should have expected this from a bored that's dedicated years to hating on Wing.
You seem to be extremely ass-pained about it.
where the fuck is heero's hair going?
I usually dislike this kind of art most because of how it looks more like they just drew generic bodies and slapped the MC's heads onto them.
Yu Yu Hakusho had the same issue with some promo art that I recall seeing once. Wish I could say I knew where to find the ones I'm thinking of.
