>Kamen Rider Ghost Episode 16 Preview
We need more beef riders.
>Suit actually fits Fujioka
>yfw helmetless fight
I was thinking more like the old Pretenders Transformers, but yeah, it sorta looks like the pinhead/roidbody flipping gimmick stuff like Power Rangers and Masked Rider had.
So is this an alternate continuity thing or is Rider 1 getting an upgrade?
The old Riders look more and more dated every year, especially compared to the newer, more detailed looking Riders.
Taisen movies used to be non canon, but the last one wasnt, so maybe.
>The old Riders look more and more dated every year, especially compared to the newer, more detailed looking Riders.
I know, it's like they're old or something!
Alternatively, this thing.
At least Pretenders were (relatively) proportional, as was the flipping Power Ranger toys.
>So is this an alternate continuity thing or is Rider 1 getting an upgrade?
Don't know if there'll be alternate timeline shenanigans, but the scans just say that it's a power up in order to face Nova Shocker (some new division of Shocker that apparently controls the world's economy. They also have new armored grunts and are led by three new characters that supposedly are former Shocker members.
At the same time though, there's also still the standard "Shocker", with the old grunts, led by Ambassador Hell from the original series (and Vs Dai-Shocker).
>That swole new Rider 1 suit
>That beefy as fuck new Cyclone
The size threw me off at first, but when considering Fujioka it all works so well together. It's like a wise old motorcycling bug paladin of justice. Put me down for the SHF of him, the ShF of his bike, and the Premium Bandai release of his belt.
They actually gave a shit about size for once in a long time and it is beautiful. If only they did that for the current shows. Like instead of skinny and spry Takeru turning into beefy Ghost, Ghost should match his physique (as much as I like Takaiwa as a suit actor). In fact I think Ghost's design would have worked better if it was more lithe. Like your typical Spider-man physique.
On a side note I am interesting in seeing what I think are new Combatmen auits as well. Funny how not too long ago I posed the question as to whether or not they'd get an update too. I like how their bones seem to take a little inspiration from W's maskmen, but the faces from this far away look funny.
I guess they were going for Dark Knight Returns Batman look
Someone posted an excerpt from interview in the last thread saying it was designed around Fujioka's current body instead of having him turn into the stock suit actor of the more generic body type. I am sure the bigger stuntsman from that Japanese action group (or something like that) that Toei likes to take stuntsman from are happy.
Rider 3 was also conscious of this, considering how 3's actor could fit the suit well. For 4 it doesn't matter for reasons explained in his mini series.
How 2 will hypothetically look will probably be based on the same logic. How big is Takeshi Sasaki these days?
I love me some bulky shit, but that looks just horrible.
I heard you liked bulky shit.
I liked Formula. It's like a live action gundam with all that shit sticking out during the action.
There was a show that catered to this fetish.
>How 2 will hypothetically look will probably be based on the same logic. How big is Takeshi Sasaki these days?
I doubt they'll bring Takeshi Sasaki on screen though. It seems like ever since the fire incident he didn't really want to make on-screen appearances.
The worst part is the implication this movie might be good, have good callbacks to the original show, give Fujioka room to actually act and show us who Hongo really is in the year 2015, and then after an emotional moment where his power peaks he's gonna step out looking like a roided Ninja Turtle.
no Rider has ever looked like their actor was conceivably in their suit
look at how Kouta gets fucking taller when he transforms into Gaim (in fact he's taller than Rider 1 by a few centimeters transformed)
in the original show Hongo is a lanky ass motherfucker with long thin legs but when transformed he's shorter and more squat, you can see the difference between when he actually wore the suit in the early episodes to where they got a stuntman
it's ridiculous to get so anal over if their actors look like they could wear their suit
Probably, but if they redid his suit they would base it around Sasaki's current proportions out of similar respect they had for Fujioka when making the #1 suit.
Plus it would be weird for him to be the one Shocker Rider who is too out of proportion to his civillian self.
Sasaki is fatter and more out of shape than Fujioka, you want to see Rider 2 look that way?
Wel Fujioka's a big guy now, so he needs a big suit.
It is more about being concious of the actor's looks than it is about theme or motif. Ichimonji just has a fitting inuniverse title to go with it.
I say that is more due to budget constraints, limited talent pool, and sticking to the people who had gained experience as the franchise moved forward.
Lots of show and film productions have tried to make stuntmen and actors match if and when they could. Nothing wrong with that.
After that Rider 1 suit, I'm pretty sure my theory about Rider 2's eventual new suit being mostly red will be right.
They're being way more experimental with these than I expected, so Rider 1 taking all the green likely means Rider 2 will be mostly red.
Also, the fact that it seems to be a permanent power up, rather than a "final form" thing makes it even more likely that Rider 2 will get one too - if not in this movie then in a later one, since this is just "chapter 1" of the project.
The old suit suits the young Fujioka more, while the new suit is just everything he has gone through in the last 40something years.
It's actually Haruto using the EXCITE ring.
I think we'll only ever see this suit when Fujioka is involved, because the new one is clearly of his personal tastes. Otherwise, Toei will just revert to the Classic and act like nothing is amiss.
Is that Hamada?
Helmetless scenes, anon, not stuntwork. 3 is designed so that when Oikawa's wearing the suit without the helmet it fits him. The redesigned 1 is built for the thickness of Fujioka's build so that if they want to they can shoot a scene with his helmet off and he'll look right.
But can't they just get cool Ganma forms though, like in W or Fourze?
But that's because Jiro Okamoto absolutely dons all his previous suits every time they get back on screen. He was already big by Japanese standards 30 years ago.
Just look at RX now
The emperor could, but at Adel I have a strong feeling will have a form with the Megaulouder because he seems like that rival asshole of a sibling.
He would have a form to show up Aran.
so by "Igor" do they mean the fictional assistant of Dr Frankenstein?
Huh. At this point, I wouldn't doubt it, since they had the Sword Ganma actually using Kojiro's technique and had the Ganma talking about "living bodies". It sounds more and more like they're really ghosts.
You're forgetting the best-looking Dopant,
Invisible. The D Was Watching indeed.
Rider 2 is the Rider of Power, though. With Ichimonji's actor also being about as big as Hongo's actor, he will probably be about as burly insuit.
Rider 3 is the speedster, considering he cares about racing and winning so much.
>tfw Nao will be in that spring Kamen Rider movie
Rider 2 with bigger arms for his enhanced punching attacks
I don't know, liked Commander, Eyes, Taboo, and Violence.
I'm watching Wizard and I'm kinda confused. A gate is identified, usually by Medusa and they send a Phantom to go awaken it. But since Wizard always wins and sometimes doesn't go into their despair for his stupid cgi battle wouldn't that person still be a gate? Why doesn't medusa send more phantoms after identified gates that still have phantoms inside of them? Or do they stop being gates when Wizard beats the initial phantom thats after them?
>that shot of Rider 1 pinning a Kaijin down
>"try calling me fat again if you're a man!"
Stocky would be the PC term, if one wants to be technically correct in this case.
They stop being Gates if Haruto kills their inner Phantom and destroys their magic. They have to overcome the despair on their own to become wizards.
Also it's Wizard, so even if that wasn't the case they still wouldn't give a shit.
They looked better than the shit in Ghost at least which is just the same basic suit with some random props and costume bits on top.
Then again you could say that about the Riders in Ghost too...
>don't have budget for new CGI
>don't have budget for more suit actors
>don't have budget for more designs
>don't have budget for more creative directors
don't always blame the writers because they don't control the production
I'll just pretend he goes in off-screen and destroys the inner phantom.
but then again, why couldn't he just do that immediately after rescuing a phantom? If the gate needs to lose hope in order for Haruto to jump into them then how would saving them and preventing them from losing hope stop them from being gates?
this is giving me a headache.
Gimmick are supplied by Bandai and Plex before the actual writing starts.
Also there are writer complains about last minute change at shooting when Bandai wants to promote a certain toy or character.
It is pretty stupid to say writers also works as 1 of the producers (there are always 4 ~ 5 from Toei, with 2 extras from TV Asahi) and determine everything in production.
Watching Ghost I keep thinking "It's okay, we'll be out of toy shilling territory soon enough"
Next episode is Necrom
Then after that we get another form for Necrom
And there's still Himiko
And Grateful is probably right around the corner
Jesus Christ, it never ends. Fourze had 40 goddamn switches and food robots and it still came across less awkward and shill-y as it does in Ghost.
There's a couple of things left:
Specter using Necrom Eyecon
Ghost Final Form
Specter Final Form
16 sees the use of Necrom and (at least) 1 Eyecon.
That leaves 4 until the episode airing March 27. And then from April through June there's two more toy shilling episodes.
Makoto leaving for Ganma world in 2 weeks.
He will probably get something there during his stay.
The other scan says Makoto is picking up Ryu's work, and decides to return to Ganma world.
If he is fighting Ganma in the other dimension I guess he will get something new over there, while Ganma will have fun playing with Necrom gimmicks on Takeru's ground.
Wow, you weren't kidding about the knight armor thing.
If that is true and if it is true that he had input, that would explain those knightly pauldrons, the shape of his helmet, and those layers of armor. Thinking about it, it does even feel more "right" to call this suit "Kamen Rider Armor" than your standard "Kamen Rider Suit". More Kamen Rider Knght than Kamen Rider Knight.
Just give Hongo a broadsword and let him swing away.
According to the magazine scan the two Shocker groups are rivals, the one lead by Ambassador Hell is still trying to take over the world and is staffed by previous monsters like Lizardman but Nova Shocker is running the economy as previously mentioned. They aren't friends though.
Why do they have a big focus with the economy and not just the generic le take over the world?
>Do the prices for show merch get cheaper after the show ends?
It depends on how popular the toys are. I know some Drive merch wound up being pretty cheap just because it wasn't shifting stock like they expected.
>Do the prices for show merch get cheaper after the show ends?
I never bought they toys, but I often see people here complaining that when a show ends the toys get more expensive.
I guess all those decades of lifting finally paid off
>Be John Toei
>Make your anniversary villains Jew Shocker
>Cast a Sentai actor as one of their commanders
>It isn't Kagura
>yfw Drive arrests Ichigo for taking steroids.
The story behind this is picture is great.
Fujioka wasn't even invited to the event he just showed up in that getup.
Does he own that sword? Does he own that armor?
Who fucking knows Fujioka does what he wants.
I'm sure Great Leader will appear as a giant something or another the Sentai team has to help destroy
Or maybe it'll actually be a final one on one with Hongo, wouldn't that actually be worth your time?
>Just like they finished it the year before that.
> Just like they finished it five years ago.
>Just like they finished it in the Black RX finale
It wasnt him
>Skyrider finale, Stronger finale.
Yes, but he later returned.
>The previous anniversary/all rider clusterfuck movies aren't canon
>But this one will be
>Implying Rider even has a canon
>in the final scene Great Leader appears
>He opens his cape revealing a ripped veiny body
>He and Rider 1 test each other strength
>The very earth they stand on quakes from their power
>a crater forms under their feet
>Rider 1 gives G. Leader an double underhook suplex
>G. Leader recovers and gives Rider 1 a belly to belly suplex
No one, but they could also finish him for good. And use newer villains.
That said, I just read the synopsis and it doesnt seem he's returning at least for now.
>But this one will be
Last year's was
>Implying Rider even has a canon
I hope we get an interview with Fujioka at some point about all this
A final battle between them should go down like Kuuga and Daguva
No fancy attacks or anything beyond punching the fuck out of no another while going through their forms until it's just an old man punching some alien freak
Online exclusive Ganma Ghost Change figures when?
IT'S THE SAME SOUND
>The battle ends with shirtless Hongo throttling a ayy lmao grey ala Thor from SG1 before ripping his head off
You can't do expect that during the anniversary.
If not the 45th one then the 50th one or any year in between. If they are digging into other Rider mediums for inspiration for new Showa content, then that means Great Leader has an unseen form hinted through Kamen Rider Gaia.
No doubt that form is gonna appear at some point for Hongo to fight before Fujioka and Great Leader's voice actor get too old
>Aran fucking shit up with his bare hands in episode 14
He's really growing on me guys. Excited to see how his role plays out in all this.
>Great Leader's voice actor
Great Leader's original voice actor is already dead. He last voiced him in the 40th anniversary movie at the age of 81. Tomokazu Seki voices him now and he does a top notch impression of Goro Naya.
If Mark Hamil was able to UNJUST himself there's no reason a guy like Fujioka can't get in shape again, hell only a few years ago he did not look his age at all.
here he was in 2011
>Implying he couldn't still snap you in half like a phonebook
If you became a Rider would you rather have a belt or a brace? Or both?
>A gun and a belt
>A gun and a brace
>A gun, brace, and belt
>He does the decade transformation
what a dork, I love him
He truly deserved so much more than a shit half season used to offset the Rider premiers from Sentai.
Ah I did not know that. That is a really good impression.
Still, not expecting Great Leader to be the final boss of all this is ridiculous. Guy's like an avatar of evil for Kamen Rider. Probably is one too. At least a monster that's like their genetic ancestor.
A belt. I would be using my arms to block, so the brace would eventually get broken. And unless the weapon has a gun and melee function I'll just be fumbling around with it.
Do we ever get a detail of heroes for SHT Riders? Like did we ever get one for 3 and 4?
Would like to get one for #1. Hell, it probably needs it just so you won't miss all the
Rider 1 Arms was in Gaim's so we might get Kamen Rider 3 and 4 in Drive's, whenever that gets announced.
I can't wait to see how this fucking thing works. It just doesn't make sense to me.
So you're stuck with this always being vertical? It looks better horizontal.
>tfw you're the only one who love Ghost's hoodie gimmick
I don't know man.
I've been wearing a hoodie since Middle School, so I'm kind of biased.
They really didn't finish anything last year though. They stopped the whole history modifying machine plan, but they didn't really destroy Shocker or the Great Leader.
Either way though, remember, Kamen Rider 1 is just "Part 1" of the "Super Hero Year", so we might get the Great Leader as a villain in a later movie, rather than here.
Decided to do this little thing out of curiosity. Original 1 their for further comparison (and to fill space).
Mitsuhiro Oikawa is a tiny man. It's funny how Kyoichiro Kuroi stands at equal height with Hongo if not a little taller in SHTGP, which is noticeable in that one image with 1 to 4 standing all together. He had more mass to him compared to 1 and 2 as well.
For reference, Fujioka stands at around 5'10' and Oikawa is at around 5'8.5".
His latest work in TV drama
I have since added Signal Chaser to this collection.
He is Honda Tadakatsu in the drama
This is the image in Sengoku Basara 3
I guess he just really likes warriors and fighters. Most likely the type of roles that made him popular too. Makes a little more sense that his new suit is more of a masked warrior with a crotch rocket steed and less of simply a masked motorcyclist.
With the new movie preview calling him the "leader" of the Kamen Riders on top of that, I guess after all these years Masked Ridurr wasn't stupid for calling him "Warrior Leader" after all. If only it wasn't stupid about everything else.
Kamen Rider 4.
Arguably the other Shocker Riders are supposed to be military equipped with different vehicles to travel and attack. Rider 4 is just the most obvious.
One day I'd like to see a Shocker Rider equipped with a fucking tank. Or an ATV at least.
>Rider 1 power up
Even if the movie is the usual trash if there's even one scene where he thinks back on Tachibana's love and encouragement all these years later and being an old man himself now it'll be redeemed in my eyes.
>They really didn't finish anything last year though. They stopped the whole history modifying machine plan, but they didn't really destroy Shocker or the Great Leader.
the Leader was tied to the machine, so was Takumi, both were finished.
I'm curious as to why Shocker doesn't attempt to repeat old plans given most of their defeats in those situations were entirely one-off and most likely impossible to repeat deus ex machinas. It was basically Faiz who stopped them last time, and now he's dead.
Great Leader uses his own body to power a lot of things, anon, and all of those things were destroyed. If he wasn't dead from those, he won't be dead any time soon. Hell, pretty sure both of his backstories imply he's immortal, and in one case can resurrect the dead.
That happens in pretty much every episodic show anon. It's the same as asking why the evil guys always attack the same city.
>Hell, pretty sure both of his backstories imply he's immortal, and in one case can resurrect the dead.
You mean something stated in-show or some other source that has nothing do with it?
Ishinomori's original explanation for Great Leader was he was a Tibetan monk who was immortal, and upon achieving some freaky variant of Nirvana, discovered how to resurrect the dead.
The canon explanation may be that he's an evil alien from another universe, however.
>the Leader was tied to the machine, so was Takumi, both were finished.
Unless I'm missing something, it was never stated that the Great Leader was resurrected by the machine or had his life tied to it though.
>You mean something stated in-show or some other source that has nothing do with it?
Not that anon, but one of the origins that he has claimed in the tv shows is being the God of Death (I think it was V3).
And, in the original series, it's eventually revealed that they bring back dead monsters by making blood sacrifices to him in a graveyard place.
>Ishinomori didn't like the supernatural
Cyborg 009's main organization was an ontological monstrosity, everyone has psychic pwoers in his manga, and he made Henshin Ninja Arashi.
Supernatural's just fine by him.
A bit more muscles and he will be perfect for his age.
>The canon explanation may be that he's an evil alien from another universe, however.
I wouldn't say it's the "canon" explanation. It's the one from Stronger, so it's the most famous one since it's the one from the finale of the original run of the series, but, in ZX, he was described as an evil spirit, continuing with the trend of his true nature seemingly being different every time.
Here guys, I found some more concept art of Rider 1's new form.
>tfw the guy is played by the boyfriend from Miranda
this guy was the heart and soul of the old shows, I hope they do him proper justice. Fujioka himself said without him the story of Kamen Rider could never truly be told.
Check out his other bootleg videos, particularly the bootleg Wizard and Sengoku Drivers. It's a generic basic soundboard that ends up in pretty much every bootleg Kamen Rider toy.
will wait to see how it looks in motion before judging
everyone was saying how swole Ghost looked before we saw it in motion where it just looks fat, and this #1 design looks even wider than Ghost
>everyone was saying how swole Ghost looked before we saw it in motion where it just looks fat,
For me Ghost actually looked a little skinnier in motion whereas the photo debut looked fat.
It was seeing him without the hoodie in the show that made me think that. The hood just sits a little funny on him.
>tfw they finally modded Rider 1 to be fitting of old Fujioka's herculean physique
I can't be the only one who prefers this to the polished up original suit they've used since Decade, right?
It's a weird situation. I like the suit. I like the concept of a tank Rider but it shouldn't be Rider 1's new form. Rider 1 shouldn't of even gotten a new form. Let's be honest though we would of never of been satisfied with anything they would of given us.
The 'polished up' pieces of shit they've been putting him in are literally stage show suits and are actually worse than from 40 years ago
>You now see the smile on the Ganma Superior suit
>You will never unsee it
Who's got time to look at that when you can look at Machine Hoodie's headlight skull.
people were saying the same shit about super dead heat before they saw it in action.
Its gonna be par for the course for /krg/.
Hate something when shown off.
Obsess over it after you see the movie.
>Single-minded devotion to defend mankind
>Armored is symbolic
>Brings fear and dread to the enemies of man
They should've gone full apeshit with a new costume and made him like a Japanese war god of justice that transcends the physical realm
Fujioka already has the face of those statues anyway so why not take it a step further
Agito going full Final Fantasy during it's final stretch is pretty divisive here as far as I can tell. Some people seem to love it, others seem to have preferred the Kamen Rider X-Files type thing the series had going on up to that point.
I think a simple modernization keeping the white glove colors and slim built would have been received with very little controversy. They clearly wanted something that stood out immediately though.
The Figuart of this is going to be sexy.
What if the did this with all of the Showa Riders? A more beastly Amazon would look awesome. Shin would look horrifying.
I don't mind the idea of updating the Showas, but not like tin can armor.
There sure is a severe lack of Rider in this Rider movie
This doesn't surprise me, he lives for this shit. I seriously wonder if Kamen Rider at least contributed to him following Bushido and doing all that humanitarian aid around the world.
It's a spinoff about character who aren't riders in the first place leading up to the movie rider's origin.
This and Accel's movie pretty much inspired the Hero Next and Returns/Gaiden films.
The really only did it to match Fujioka's plcurrent physique.
The guy has yet to reprise his role, but actor for Amazon is still pretty skinny. Probably the sk8nniest of all the Showa Riders right now.
I think that would fit Amazon's "lizardness" which Toei would probably crank up to 11 in a hypothetical remake. Ottermode lizard man with a more biological look akin to Shin.l but a little more colorful.
X would look nice midway between Rider 1's bearmode and hypothetical Amaxon's ottermode. The person or persons they usually get to do X is always so skinny. I think skinnier than X's actor is now. It makes the suit look really baggy. A new X with a more built stuntman and a better fitted suit would look great.
Rider 2 and Stronger would work well in bearmode, though Stronger's actor is dead...
Rider 2 has to get a bear mode suit. It'd look very odd if he just has the old suit alongside the new Rider 1.
And this is just part 1 of the Super Hero Year, so we probably will see this new suit a couple of times at least, even if it doesn't stick around permanently.
They need some time to think of a title card for the next Ghost ep
For 15 fucking episodes they (more or less) hyped this shit up and kept us waiting like fools
This shit better be ballin
I also would love to see Houdini fighting alongside Wizard in a future crossover movie
>The leader of the Kamen Riders
Am I really supposed to believe Tendou or Tsukasa will respect or listen to this guy no matter how buff his suit is now?
I'm pretty sure even Tsukasa could set aside his own sheer smug and stuck up, holier-than-thous personality to listen to Hongo, a man who, had he not existed, would probably mean Tsukasa wouldn't either.
Tendou though, I dunno.
>Alan gently sliding the eyecon into the belt
I'm think more just a combination of two belt gimmicks, bust also some how lackluster. Well, at least he's keeping the hood up. And I guess this validates Alan's title as a necromancer, sorta.
>Someone who hides his true feelings by acting superior. Only wants to protect his sisters and make his grandmother proud.
Everything his Grandmother taught him Hongo represents. Hongo would appeal to his softer side.
>Has no past, no world, learned the meaning of friendship and chose to be a hero than a destroyer of worlds
Hongo would offer him a future and a home among other riders. Maybe that's why he's visited current riders and helped him in his own special way.
Actually with all the talk about Alan and Makoto being boyfriends, what if that's the intent of the writers? That Alan actually considered him his best friend, or possibly more, and that he considered Makoto betraying the Ganma and siding with Ghost the same as getting dumped, and he became Necrom out of jealously and spite?
Or maybe I'm putting too much thought into barely-existant subtext in this children's show.
Yeah it's definitely the latter.
So... would this be considered the first case of "Rider Rape"?
>forcibly inserting your gimmick into someone else's belt and making them transform
I want more Eyecon possession and medium shit with Takeru.
Ryoma possessing that guy was great. Takeru chatting with Musashi was even greater.
Someone in the stream chat mention it but it would be great if the eyecons just start doing their own thing until Takeru unlocks their true potential. Also Onari being an eyecon slave.
>Onari prancing around like Robinhood for an entire episode.
I have a question /m/. Do we know what Takeshi Hongo canonically went on to do with his life? I don't mean as Kamen Rider, we know he'll probably keep fighting evil until the sun burns out. I'm asking what he as a civilian person ended up doing, like how in Rider Taisen we saw that X ended up being a small town doctor. Have they ever said what Hongo is doing these days? I know Fujioka had a cameo in Agito I think? But I don't know if that was actually Takeshi Hongo or just Fujioka doing a shout out.
i want onari to do anything useful other than run around screaming
All that stuff is seperate from the show. The shows get their direct money from children toy sells. Figuarts and such is Bandai getting their shit in. Pachinko machines don't help the show.
Fact is Toei only cares about kids, product directed towards them, and so on. Maybe pleasing parents once in awhile.
>Aran-sama is forcefully doing things to onii-sama
>just like what BL comics said
First off, no that wasn't Hongo in Agito, it was just a Fujioka cameo.
Second, I don't think we're ever told. None of the sequel shows ever mentioned what he was doing, aside from "keeping on fighting for peace". It'd make sense to assume that at some point after Great Leader's destruction at the end of Stronger he went on and tried to have a normal life but there's little to no evidence to back this up. I mean the dude was a biochem student with an IQ of 600, pretty sure he could get a job somewhere somehow, but who knows.
He could still be a racer like >>13802373 said but again there's no real evidence to back this up.
I'm kind of hoping for a slight language barrier when Takeru talks with any eyecon that isn't Japanese, even though I know it won't happen. They'll probably explain it away as them forming a connection that defies language or something.
>Tendou in the middle of a battle remembers words that Hongo told him
>Gives him the motivation to stand and keep fighting
>"Takeshi Hongo once told me something..."
>Puts his hand up and points to the sky
>THAT music starts to play
>"Grandfather said this."
>>What is Figuarts
Bandai pumping money out of otaku nerds
>>What is RAH
Medicom pumping money out of otaku nerds
>>What is Pachinko
Parlors pumping money out of grandpas and gambling addicts while advertising for Toei/Bandai
>>What is CSM/CS in general
Bandai pumping even more money out of otaku nerds and cosplayers
The kid's toys, general products, albums, movies is what keeps the lights on at Toei and TVAsahi. Not shit targeted to nerds who in their eyes shouldn't be watching the show.
Well, the director of the Agito movie said that he directed that scene thinking that it was Hongo himself, although officially he's just "police chief". The Agito movie isn't in continuity either way though.
There's also a Hongo with bushy eyebrows mentioned as a college teacher in Kuuga. In Hongo's actual modern appearances they haven't suggested that he has a normal life at all though.
Even in Rider Taisen, while we see ZX going to fly a plane at the end and X as a doctor again, Hongo is already riding the Cyclone once more, implying that he's heading to fight somewhere else.
The roots of Shocker went deep inside the human society, and there is no end to his war.
Hongo kept his fights back in the darkest place away from population to minimize causalities.
Unless the world is changing for the good, otherwise he will keeps on fighting till the end of the world.
I remember in a interview before KRT, Fujioka gave his view on what Hongo has been doing
>He answers the cry for help whenever. He knows there are fights that others must fight and doesn't interfere with them. Even so, a hero must rest. He might be still helping as your normal day hero, even if you don't know it's him
Toei or any smart children's show knows better than to acknowledge adult fans because then they will think they have a say in what happens and sperg the fuck out.
Japanese otaku can get crazy if you aren't careful.
No one wants those fuckers showing up at stage shows scaring all the kids.
Not sure why pachinko machines are even being brought up. You can put anything on a pachinko machine and it will still make money because the people who play them are addicts.
It's sort of like slot machines in a casino. The subject matter doesn't matter to the regulars.
I live near a casino and they have a few giant ones with themes of movies and stuff and their placement in right in the spot where people will have no choice but to be drawn to them.
Like the Back To The Future anniversary one I played. There was a small line for that shit.
>Evil never goes away
So you think we should just give up and let it take over the world then? Roll over and let it do whatever it wants?
Imagine how much shittier the world would be if no one fought back.
Some people who already have a bit of learning use the Japanese site and use the English course to test themselves. I wouldn't recommend this for beginners.
Personally I prefer to look up the most common words and learn them back and forward and you be set to learn more.
The people suffer under themselves. War, pollution, ethnic sterilization, prostitution, those are creations of man. It is no different being being under tyranny of costumed villains than under your own politicians.
doujin about female kaiju fucking each other in increasingly degenerate ways to find out who is ore wa strongest when?
Well, it's just convenience to bring his actor back. Heck, ZX was shown as aged in Rider Taisen, even though only his brain remained and everything else is false.
These movies constantly show other Shocker cyborgs going through the 40 years without having aged (like General Black in Let's Go Kamen Riders and SHT GP, Rider 3 in GP, Ganikomoru and some other minor monsters in GP and Let's Go Kamen Riders).
>The people suffer under themselves. War, pollution, ethnic sterilization, prostitution, those are creations of man.
Indeed they are, but the existence of evil does not mean that it is right and acceptable that we stand by and do nothing and allow it to grow.
>It is no different being being under tyranny of costumed villains than under your own politicians.
If you truly believe that then why do you allow such perceived unjust systems to remain in place? If civil assembly and petition has failed you, why not revolution? What keeps you beat down so hard that you do nothing and then say that nothing works?
>Shocker villains fight Hongo
>He survives Kame Bazooka's nuclear bomb
>"WHY WON'T YOU DIE!?"
>Hongo just laughs.
Based on KRW, the Shocker monsters that have she used for them are Bee Woman, Dokudahlian, and Chainsaw Lizard. I don't feel like going through all the pages and checking every article. Must be some Japanese site with a list.
