Wizard incorporated a lot of wushu techniques especially when fighting with his sword.

I do this so many times but let's get back into a short list for Heisei because I'm too tired to write the usual paragraphs:

Kuuga is a brawler

Agito is a karate-based kickboxer with some light kung fu (I dunno why he is, but he is)

Ryuki is an idiot

Faiz, similarly to Kuuga, is a brawler, but he's got much more experience (possibly due to delinquency) so he has much more flair and flourish to his styles

Blade is a really incompetent kendoka

Hibiki's Ongeki-Bou Rekka stuff is mainly some twinstick-esque techniques mixed with Escrima

Kabuto's reliance on parries and quick hits wants me to think his style may be Kung Fu-based, but I have no real grounded explanation fo rit

Den-O Sword form mixes in kendo fundamentals with very wild swinging

Kiva's a more SEA-oriented kickboxer, lots of knees to the chest and elbows

Decade is a more generic kickboxer, making him the third to use such a style

W is a bit of hardboiled brawling mixed possibly with some actual martial arts knowledge

OOO is a mix of hobo capoeira and hobo animal kung fu

Fourze is the third genuine brawler on the list, and probably the most direct one, willing to use shit like headbutts and all that. He does learn some kickboxing around the time Meteor appears, however

Wizard is a mix of kung fu, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu with some Chinese fencing thrown in there

Gaim, like Ryuki, is an idiot

Drive uses mainly police grappling techniques, but Krim seems to know Bajiquan (Maybe he downloaded manuals on it and intended to introduce it to Shinnosuke, who knows)

Ghost was initially also Bajiquan-heavy in previews and teasers, but seems to have developed into more generic karate. Shame, fighting styles tend to fully flesh out by this point, but Takeru's really not doing well on that.

Not at all. Each series is standalone. The Legendary Seven series in Showa (OG Kamen Rider up to Skyrider) have crossovers with the Riders before them, but it's not complicated enough continuity to need to catch up with everything in order. (especially since not all of the Showa series have good subs, or english subs at all).

As for Heisei, everything is standalone unless you're in a crossover movie (or a couple of other special instances, like Agito's references to Kuuga that got dropped after three episodes, or the Foundation X subplot that connects W, OOO and Fourze).
