>How to get into KR and where to start?
>List of subbed series:
>Kamen Rider Ghost Episode 15 Preview
Necrom is confirmed to be Aran, he will appear this week.
The possibility of that being what they're doing for all of Part 2 makes it entirely okay to "redo the 99 days".
Not going to lie but that sounds boring as shit.
We already collected 13 fucking eyecons and doing them again but this time they have personalities just seems tedious.
Doesn't help that this happened like twice before.
I can't wait for the v3v2's for when we get the Blu-rays.
Shit why didn't you guys tell me Surprise Future got subbed already
Connecting with Eyecons seems just build-up for Grateful form.
There seems to be not enough time to do it for all Eyecons.
My guess they probably just do it to 5-6 Eyecons.
Probably: Ryoma (done), Musashi, Houdini (next episode), Himiko and 1-2 others.
Bit late to the party since the bluray raw thread has long since past but here's my scrub of the Shin Masked Rider bluray.
We have until episode 23/24 at the end of March for Grateful. If Takeru connects with one every episode he can only just in time for Grateful have done so with all his own Eyecons.
No problem. Let me know what you think!
(forgot to trip before, but you'll probs never see me again unless i get off my ass and scrub SD)
but anon, why would you need anything other than taking all those worms down?
ALL OF THEM
>Literal commie subs
>"Nothing wrong with that"
Also WebM related is cancer.
Sailor Otaku has first dibs on that anyway.
Oh, good then. In that case, is X worth the risk of getting nabbed by subninjas? Super-1 is another possibility, but that one is less good.
Why didn't anyone bring up this autism to him? It's so fucking cringey.
>some anons on /krg/ do nothing but talk about the same namefag every thread now
I wish it were anytime before August again
>Considering how when Ragnarok tried doing X and it almost immediately got nabbed, probably not.
Did the faggots who were doing X even release more than the first few episodes?
I think it's a little fishy.
Ah, my mistake. Still, if people would like a scrub of a bluray I'd be happy to do it.
Lets all talk about how Kitaoka is the best tetiary rider eh?
Just a reminder: Medic is best Drive Girl.
Non-Rider Related: Kakuranger is coming to DVD.
>You will never befriend Kitaoka and go on wacky lawyer adventures.
Even if you could it wouldn't last for very long...
REN... TYPE KYLO!
>Captcha: 108 (aka Dark Drive)
It's like poetry.
Birth had a very boxing and wrestling based fighting style that I was sad to see go when the belt went from Date to Goto.
Wizard incorporated a lot of wushu techniques especially when fighting with his sword.
Those are the only I can think of right off the bat.
What the FUCK is the name of the song that plays when ZaBee appears for the first few times?
I do this so many times but let's get back into a short list for Heisei because I'm too tired to write the usual paragraphs:
Kuuga is a brawler
Agito is a karate-based kickboxer with some light kung fu (I dunno why he is, but he is)
Ryuki is an idiot
Faiz, similarly to Kuuga, is a brawler, but he's got much more experience (possibly due to delinquency) so he has much more flair and flourish to his styles
Blade is a really incompetent kendoka
Hibiki's Ongeki-Bou Rekka stuff is mainly some twinstick-esque techniques mixed with Escrima
Kabuto's reliance on parries and quick hits wants me to think his style may be Kung Fu-based, but I have no real grounded explanation fo rit
Den-O Sword form mixes in kendo fundamentals with very wild swinging
Kiva's a more SEA-oriented kickboxer, lots of knees to the chest and elbows
Decade is a more generic kickboxer, making him the third to use such a style
W is a bit of hardboiled brawling mixed possibly with some actual martial arts knowledge
OOO is a mix of hobo capoeira and hobo animal kung fu
Fourze is the third genuine brawler on the list, and probably the most direct one, willing to use shit like headbutts and all that. He does learn some kickboxing around the time Meteor appears, however
Wizard is a mix of kung fu, wrestling, and jiu-jitsu with some Chinese fencing thrown in there
Gaim, like Ryuki, is an idiot
Drive uses mainly police grappling techniques, but Krim seems to know Bajiquan (Maybe he downloaded manuals on it and intended to introduce it to Shinnosuke, who knows)
Ghost was initially also Bajiquan-heavy in previews and teasers, but seems to have developed into more generic karate. Shame, fighting styles tend to fully flesh out by this point, but Takeru's really not doing well on that.
>"Hey, Toku twitter might be nice?"
>"I'll try it"
>Find Bunnyhat's account
>Eventually find her personal account
Shes a trans-woman posting about cat-girls and bara women while also crying about not having friends and being gay
I feel like I know too much
With BunnyHat you should just stick to that and ignore the real one.
>Caring about her feet when dat ass
Have Rinna feet.
>Look into it more
SU characters drawn as minorities
THIS KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER
>Yongou's twitter is just memes, SU and excuses for no Kabuto
SOMEONE PLEASE POINT ME TO SOMEONE BEARABLE
Take your pick:
>TokuSwag's mostly men and fun toy antics
>Faizfag is Ultraman/Yokai Watch spam
>eieiOH is a mixed bag of gaming and (currently) Star Wars
>Peachy is boobs. Lots of them
>Heat (onimaurXLR) varies from food to commentary on how Toku is ending up
>Ignis is work rants
>Jeeg is family man and sickness
There's probably more but these are the ones I follow most
>all that yuri
She's not that bad.
But in all seriousness BunnyHat is a nice person and contributes so fucking much to the tokusatsu community. Yeah she has some public trans breakdowns via twitter but what can you do other than not follow.
>Yes, the rumors are true.
>Cats and Dogs living together, pandemonium in the streets... and a new Kamen Rider episode, coming tomorrow.
>Delays are what they are. Nobody likes them (us included) and nobody cares to hear any excuses. Let's all just be friends to Justice.
>Yongou just confirmed that he has a cuck fetish
>Yongou just posted something on his Twitter
>tfw eieiOH wastes his time on a shit moba and not working on jokesubs
worst than yongou
no one cares about showa. it turns into hate because people get annoyed by the constant "muh showa" bullshit.
>my showa is so good guys really it is
>"ok bro, anyway about that drive"
>no listen man showa is really good like, V3 is amazing and better than everything heisei
>"ok man we get it you like showa now fuck off"
>no fuck you you manchild, one day you'll see once you grow up that everything heisei is for kids and showa is for grown manly men like me!
Don't even bother. You can't translate for shit. Or what, you're going to scrub TVN's? Doing that is meaningless. Face it faggot, you're useless. Just let Over-Time handle it and fuck off
>This entire thread
Yongou does nothing but shitpost on twitter instead of doing Kabuto.
And he has taken 2 long breaks in the past 3 months and now he's gonna not do Kabuto until March.
It's bullshit I tell ya.
A pretty big chunk of the population of the US is though. It's a fair chance that I'm not the only one snowed in right now in this thread.
>over a foot and half so far
>it's still fucking snowing
>tfw in sunny yet rainy Florida
Suck it Northern fags
>US Makes a Rider Movie.
>Rider 1 looks like this.
>implying that isn't Yongou backtracking
Good Kamen Rider Girls songs:
Fight!! Kamen Rider V3(This is purely my own opinion though, and I wholeheartedly understand any disagreement)
Toki no Hana
Any song where they're back-up vocals in, like Jouchaku
Bad Kamen Rider Girls songs:
Shocker used a mess of everything. The monsters were often more biological looking than the Riders, although some are still shown to be mechanical inside.
Keep on backtracking faggot
I meant more along the lines they were meant to still have distinctly humanoid features. I think the big idea was Shocker wanted to corrupt everything in its modifications, not just straight up change it. Making it into just a walking grasshopper sorta kills that idea.
Then again, AAA movies.
>movies arent canon
Certain movies aren't but the ones that are still contradict and conflict with tons of shit.
Not going to list them either because fuck you watch more Kamen Rider.
That's the best part about Tsukasa cameos.
Quick /krg/, how do I found out my lucky color?
Decade is Canon and not Canon at the same time.
>Decade has the ability to travel to different Universes
>Decade's Show takes place in the area I'll call the AU Bubble.
>The AU Bubble is a Collection of 9 different AU's, each containing an AU for each of the 9 Heisei Riders.
>Each AU Rider is weaker and more incompetent compared to their Real Counterpart.
Pretty much Decade could appear in any universe that he wants and still be the "Same" character unlike other Riders in crossovers, though it seems that After Decade and the Beginning of W that there is only one Universe that all Rider exist in now.
But that also leads into questions like:
>Is there other Decades besides Decade?
Yes, since Dark Decade is "Canon"(Videogame).
Unspeaking/Important Crossover Decades might also be other versions.
You're in a thread for children's shows, you're already naturally autistic. Get off your high horse.
So is CapeShit here in the US, but look at how many Adults love and go into extreme depth into that media.
>How does Iron Man's Suit work!
>How much power does it use!
>What metal is it made of!
And that's just a shitty example.
To be fair, Tolkien actually wrote up most of that himself. He was King of Autismos, so it's justified, but still. Fans just fitted it into one internet repository for easy research.
>Yongou's not doing Kabuto anymore
THE SUB NINJA'S CLAIM A NEW VICTIM
>He was King of Autismos, so it's justified, but still.
He was also a linguist and anthropologist first, before being a novelist. It was pretty much his job to overthink this shit about history and mythologies.
And all of these are played by the same guy except Kuuga and Hibiki. It's a shame we both can't have the excellent bodylanguage and skill of a dedicated suits actor and varied martial arts mastership. It's like in Dairanger where Kirinranger does Drunken Kung Fu in the first ep and in the single focus episode he has, and then otherwise he's the usual boring karate stuff with the occasional judo flip.
But Kazu does Zui Quan for his role call, the entire tertiary motif of Dairanger is martial arts.
Also, the truth is Takaiwa only tries out new martial arts that he can get access to quick courses on, stuff shorter than a month so he can learn some new techniques. His mastery is in judo and kendo.
Yes he does a bit for his role call but in actual fighting the guy they got to be the suit actor and the people they have him "fight" against obviously couldn't put on much of a show of that stuff every week.
I wonder how much time Takaiwa gets off. And how valuable he is, or if Toei is 100% prepared to just replace him with an understudy if he breaks his leg or something.
>A pretty big chunk of the population of the US is though
Are you fucking kidding me?
A small portion of the North East is nto a "big chunk". I don't want to generalize but that's something a self centered New York fag would blurt out.
I sometimes get the impression that they are barely on the edge of the schedule, so they have little time to actually choreograph stunts. Then again it looks like they can shoot an episode in like 3-4 days so they should be able to get ahead. Yet something like Gaim was delayed for what, 3 weeks because they had fallen behind?
You do realize that this storm goes all the way from fucking South Carolina, through Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, all the way through the Mid-Atlantic states? New York is only the upper part of the storm, there's a huge chunk of the eastern US that's affected by this.
>implying I'm a New Yorker
Motherfucker, I'm in western MD.
>Yet something like Gaim was delayed for what, 3 weeks because they had fallen behind?
Gaim wasn't delayed due to production falling behind, but due to wanting to move the start of the toyline even further closer to the holidays. That's why future shows kept the October start point, rather than going back to September.
>yfw Takeru uses Boost and the Hibiki Eyecon together to make Hibiki Crimson
What's the best Kamen Rider movie and why is it the Accel Movie?
>What's the best Kamen Rider movie
Anyone else get Spider-Man vibes from Drive
or is it just me
was she right /m/? By the end of the show, Kouta achieved way more than she did
all i have is the aftermath
During the first few episodes yes.
She would've made a good point if she were trying to say that those kinds of jobs weren't stable, but her main point of contention seemed to be the value of entertaining others, which was dumb. Beatriders helped relive the stress the younger people in Zawame had over living in a city controlled by a super corporation.
how important is it to say, watch rider in the chronological order. I know it's not important in general, but from what i understand Ghost appears in Drive so it would be smart to watch Drive first right? Are there any other occurrences of the next rider appearing in the before riders show? Am i worrying for nothing?
You're worrying for nothing. Riders stopped sharing continuity as of the Heisei era. There's previews and callbacks in every show since Decade, but there's rarely any connection outside of movies.
You can watch anything in any order you want, except maybe Decade.
so it's perfectly ok to go from fourze to drive and watch wizard and gaim later? The Drive BDs are tempting me hard and im tired of being spoiled by all the drive talk.
Ghost's appearance in Drive is briefly referenced in Ghost itself with a quick flashback, but you won't be missing anything important if you don't watch it.
For Ghost, it was supposed to introduce an Eyecon, but it really doesn't (Ghost appears there going after the already existing Eyecon)
Between W and Fourze, there was usually a small cameo of the next Rider or something related to them in the final episode (or close to them for W).
Gaim himself actually appears and fights in Wizard's two final episodes, but it's completely irrelevant to Gaim's tv show.
Not at all. Each series is standalone. The Legendary Seven series in Showa (OG Kamen Rider up to Skyrider) have crossovers with the Riders before them, but it's not complicated enough continuity to need to catch up with everything in order. (especially since not all of the Showa series have good subs, or english subs at all).
As for Heisei, everything is standalone unless you're in a crossover movie (or a couple of other special instances, like Agito's references to Kuuga that got dropped after three episodes, or the Foundation X subplot that connects W, OOO and Fourze).
hey man there version of v3 is dope, if not just because of hiroshi
>tfw no wrestling rider with hiroshi as the secondary
Oh right, thanks. I really don't know whether to pre-order it or not, I guess this preview trailer with the belt sound will be my final judgement. How long till we get a video up?
No I know that, it's just that it's not how I was expecting them to do that. I was expecting a full solid colored mask with a hole for the eyeport in it that just sort of slots onto the mask.
My stream was incredibly shit but this is what I saw
>Javel fused with one of the Gandairs
>Specter uses Houdini
>Then Rider kicks him
I'm not sure about what else, my stream was extremely buggy.
So Grim's "Eye frame" shape is a book, and Sanzo's is like... a fiery thing. Maybe it's supposed to be the Sun.
What I really want to know is how any of Ghost or Specter's Eyecons would look. Musashi or Nobu with the crossed guns/swords is easy to imagine, but what about something like Newton or Goemon? They'd have to get creative.
Being Javel is suffering
There was a theory in the chat about how there might more than one Javel. That they're clones or something, used as personal henchmen for the Ganma royalty.
But maybe they actually say something about his resurrection in this episode. Idontfuckingknow.
Here's what I think will happen
>Adel and Aran start talking about the future for the Ganma
>Adel has one vision of Aran has another
>Adel realizes that Aran will move up in the hierarchy soon and decides to snuff him out
>Aran almost gets killed by High ranking Generals but escapes with the Megauloader and his eyecons
>He then teams up with Takeru and Makoto since he has nothing left
Yeah that's a theory I had kicking around in my head, that the Superior Ganma are all mass-prodouced, which is why they all look the same. It also gives Toei an excuse to not have to hire a new actor for each one and to consider each one as technically the same character therefore they only have to pay the actors the amount of one character.
As cliche as it would be, I'd be cool with Ryu turning out to be the villain. We even have a time frame as for when he can come back.
Yeah that seems pretty obvious to me. And considering how so far they've gone with the obvious choice after doing enough to make us speculate whether it's meant to be that obvious, it seems likely.
I wonder if Yurusen would turn evil too.
I'm having the idea that they are half brothers and Aran being the lesser one actually have to go to Earth and do work with Makoto. They probably don't like Makoto too and think of him and Kanon as Aran's pet, maybe even familiar like that Zero no Tsukaima.
Adel sending Javel and telling Javel not to give info shows that Aran's probably viewed low lowly by Adel.
That things voice is just the sexiest thing.
>Akari gets to do more science shit
>Takeru visits Robin Hood
>the Necrom belt sounds sexy as fuck
Can't wait for next week
DID NOTHING WRONG
You could sit there continuing to be a smug asshole or you could be more specific about what I'm doing wrong?
So, Ryu somehow knew most of the 15 Great Souls before they were Eyecons? Ryoma speaks like he knew Takeru's father well.
This shit is actually getting really interesting. These little mysteries every now and again really give me a "this is almost like Wizard done right" vibe. I mean that by how it's sort of a mysterious supernatural kind of show, except this time the twists aren't blatantly obvious 20 episodes in advance and the integration of them isn't the fucking worst.
But this is 4chan, so it's only a matter of time before someone tells me that I'm a faggot and that my opinions are wrong.
There's that, but Ghost also has a leg up from Wizard in that its supporting cast is actually likeable and contributes somewhat to the episodic plots.
Here's the run-down of all the known Necrom phrases, plus the effect of it in the Ghost Driver:
When you press the Necrom Eyecon’s button, it’ll shout the phrase “Standby!” (スタンバイ!Sutanbai!). Insert it into the Mega Ulorder and the Mega Ulorder will shout “Yes Sir!” (イエッサー!Iessā!). The Necrom Eyecon will then say “Loading!” (ローデイング !Rōdingu!) when you press the green button on the side.
The following is what the Mega Ulorder says after you activate the transformation: “Eye Drop!” (テンガン!Tengan!) -> “Necrom!” (ネクロム!Nekuromu!) -> “Mega Ulorder!” (メガウルオウド! Megauruoudo!). When you activate Necrom’s finisher it’ll say the following: “Destroy!” (デス卜口イ!Desutoroi!) -> “Grand Clairvoyance!” (ダイテンガン!Daitengan!) -> “Necrom!” (ネクロム!Nekuromu!) -> “Omega Ulorder!” (オメガウルオウド!Omegauruoudo!).
When inserted into the Ghost Driver, the Necrom Eyecon uses the standby phrase “Batchirimiiyā!” (バッチリミイヤー!). Necrom’s transformation phrase in the Ghost Driver is “Here We Go! Dead Set! Hijacking Ghost!” (ヒウイゴー!覚悟!乗つ取りゴースト!Hiuigō! Kakugo! Nottori Gōsuto!).
This and the actual broken helmet scene were fantastic
>Takumi and Alan "Stand by"/"Standing by" together
>Takumi has to wait for Alan to get close to finishing before sliding the phone in his belt
I got good news and bad news!
Big Nova recently resurfaced and officially put X on hiatus, to wait and see if Toei Channel will broadcast it with captions later on, for translation convenience. However, the Ishinomori show Bycrosser has been restarted with proper TLC help.
https://bignovasubs.(word and press).com/2016/01/23/kyoudai-ken-bycrosser-episodes-1-and-2/
Dark Drive was spot on when he said Super Dead Heat was a poorly cobbled together hunk of junk. It's not surprising at all that it wouldn't last that long against future technology as advanced as him.
Would've been nice to have a proper fight, like how they promoted.
Looking at this makes me wish Specter and Ghost kept their default hoods up.
I suppose that's one way of wearing your bike.
There are a number of ways.
Ooooooh that voice. Such crisp english and solid sounding voice. It almost sounds like they just got an eglish speaker to do the voice.
Can't jump to that conclusion so early, but hopefully he will at least be Mr. Belt tier who is also one of the better voiced transformation devices of post Decade.
No high pitched raspiness here.
Even Chris Peppler's English is a bit rough - he's not a native speaker and learned it a little later on. He's still really good, but even when he speaks it normally you can hear some difficulty in pronunciation.
In rankings of best to worst in English speaking actors in Kamen Rider, it's probably
Tendou > Megauloader > Krim > Dragon Orphnoch > Gentaro > Glaive
Peppler's English isn't rough. And he is a Native speaker he spent a large portion of his childhood in the US. He has that smarmy tv announcer voice so his speaking sounds weird but he speaks in a very clear and fluent way.
Watch Tokyo Eye and you will see what I mean.
I think he is just the Emperor's brother or something and he is using Takeru as a means to overhtrow his brother.
Kind of like this guy. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this whole story turned out similarly to TLA. The pieces are all there for the drama to work out similarly.
>Ganma Emperor = Ozai-tier asshole
>Sage = Iroh
>Yurusen = Iroh's dead son (if Yurusen is his temporarily handicapped daughter or something)
>Aran = Zuko
>Adel = Azula
>Makoto = Katara
Now I put Makoto down because I have a strong feeling that Adel will be Aran and Makoto's final boss. Funny enough Makoto where's blue too
The Emperor will be Takeru's final boss. Speaking of you can sort of make connections between Takeru and Aang as young boys who have to engage with the dead to reach the heights of their power. But that is pretty much it. The Ganma family royalty does run a lot of parallels with the Fire Nation royal family, if the connections are correct.
It's obvious it wasn't his first language, given he "over"-pronounces some words. Like he still uses some light Japanese pronunciations with i tso as a result he slips. Just watch this vid and you can notice it.
Makoto is supposed to inherit the Necrom Eyecon at some point, right?
He doesn't speak English fluently. He recites it.
You have three forms of "English" for Japanese: Kana English which is English taught to beginners through Katakana. (It is a garbbled mess), Reciting English which is used by performers when doing interviewers, rolls, or performances (depending on the person it can either sound convincing or garbage), and Fluent English which is accented or clear as a native speaker.
I never said he spoke it fluently, I just said he spoke it. Gentaro knows Japanese, Italian, and English. You can tell English is his third language due to him speaking English in an Italian accent. He uses it once when explaining the full acronym to SOLU(Nadeshiko). Here he is speaking English and Italian. Check it here.
Holy shit. You're so right. In fact, you sort of blew my fucking mind just now.
He's not slipping he pronouncing names as they should sound in Japanese.
Like I said he's your text book English announcer.
Like Bryant Gumbel or Bob Costas they are very proper in they enunciate as to be clear to their listeners.
Also being bilingual accents slip. Just listen to any Spanish/English speaker there is a Spanish twang to their voice.
Like TV Announcer John Quinones.
