Looks like this.
I love that. It really is skillfully designed in that it takes the Zaku 1, and scales its crude and trivial design back to the point where it looks like a plausible prototype to an implausible finished product.
This thing is called The Birkenau, anon.
It's basically the initial prototype that leads to the zaku I and the missing link between the zaku and the mobile worker. Badically the worker redesigned from the ground up more for combat.
Ral uses a customized one during Professor Minovsky's assassination instead of a new zaku I like the others on his team.
this might be the first time I get sick of mono eye kits, all of that high mobility zakus the orgin zaku kits were pretty repetitive but this shit and the orgin proto-Dom is just ugly and half-assed, like a lot of crap from the orgin.
>look it's OYW but with more story and drama and mobile suits shoehorned into it wow such world building so complex do you rike it?
>Ral uses a customized one during Professor Minovsky's assassination instead of a new zaku I like the others on his team.
Wrong. That's MS-04. This thing is MS-03. 03 didn't even appear, except as a simulation render made by Professor Minovsky.
„Waffe“, not "waffle". Means "weapon" in German.
I didn't even say that.
There were Zaku in the first half of 0079, three models. MS-06F, MS-06C, and MS-05. So most types of Zaku were from the 80's. Even if I only mention the High Mobility, the Zaku Kai, the Zaku Sniper, and the Zaku III the 1979's are already outnumbered, and that's just barely scratching the surface.
Aren't there a shit load that just weren't in the anime? Like mine-layer and mariner? There's also the MS-05/6S. A slight variant, but still fine tuned and superior to the run of the mill Zakus.
Yes, but not until 1979 was over. The original series flopped, if you recall, and it was the thee MSG movies that built the fanbase we know today.
There *was* a manga running concurrently with the show back in 1979/80 but it was that really weird super robot one that had all of Zeon's amphibious suits fighting in space and basically had nothing to do with the story of the anime. And I'm pretty sure it only featured the Zaku that were seen in the show.
What the nigger nuts is that hilariously wrong statement supposed to have to do with when the name Zaku was created exactly?
As far as the anime gives a shit there's only Zaku, commander Zaku, and old Zaku, MSV retcon says there is probably C, F, J, and S type Zaku IIs included in that.
As far as herp derp German goes you could maybe argue the Dom was a German name since they continue that theme in ZZ with the Dreissen and Sturm Dias, it shows up again in CCA with the Sturmfausts and Jagd Doga, and then they go fucking crazy in the OVAs.
>as far as the anime gives a shit
So you're saying ZZ isn't an anime? Because the Zaku III was in ZZ. Zeta isn't an anime? Because Act Zaku. 0080 isn't an anime? Because Zaku Kai. 08th isn't an anime? Because Zaku Sniper.
>as far as herp derp German
That's the other anon you're talking to, I'm just pointing out that only the very first Zaku were not from the 80's.
>So you're saying ZZ isn't an anime?
Yes, of course I fucking am
>08th isn't an anime? Because Zaku Sniper.
>how to reveal you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about in two easy steps
>knows details I don't
>like a Zaku designed in 2006 being in an anime made in 1996 and therefore from the 80s
oops...that was 90's...and GM Sniper.
Ya got me there. I was too busy laughing at "fag nozzle" and "what the nigger nuts is that".
Not that I think those are funny, I'm just imagining anon as one of those REALLY hardcore twelve year olds.
I was initially replying to
and only to point out that there are a lot more Zaku from the 80's (both in official and side material) than from 1979 The only Zaku that first appeared before the 80's were the regular Zaku II, Char's Zaku II, and that one guy's Zaku I.
But then I shot myself in the foot by forgetting that it was GM Sniper in 08th and not Zaku Sniper, so every other point I made will now be ignored in accordance with 4chan law.
so I'm watching through Original Gundam(TV Version) for the first time in at least a decade(got the first Blu-Ray set for Christmas, and finally got around to watching it tonight), and just had a thought, if Gene hadn't disobeyed orders and thus didn't fire on Project V and he and Denim retreat quietly, how do you guys think the war would have gone from there?
It makes a fair amount more sense than leaving them completely without some sort of anti-materiel/personnel weapon.
If you played any of the non-arcade Gundam games with ammo counters and shit, you realize that MS weaponry is mostly only good for anything that's slow and/or big like tanks, buildings, or MS.
Aircraft and missiles suit the purpose of including tiny, near-useless-for-MS-combat vulcans because they're an ass to hit otherwise with comparatively much-slower fire rate MS-sized weapons.
Guys help I just bought all twelve volumes of the Origin in one go. I am not sure my wallet will recover from the trauma. I had no idea the whole thing was actually translated as of last month.
You know, zaku 2's gas mask never made sense, why the fuck would you have a air filter on the outside. Its a cool as fuck design meant to portray a soldier but it didn't make sense.
