Have you actually been to either of these generals for long? /krg/ is pretty much the exact same thing you're complaining about ever since its inception, you just replace gravure with male gravure(Which has toned down a lot due to people heavily complaining about it) and a bunch of Fumika Baba posting. Do you somehow ignore the constant shitting on more or less every recent series for a variety of reasons? The constant sub drama we seem to have? What about shitting on Ghost at every chance for being boring, having terrible designs, or bad characters? What about the Showa trolls who come out of the woodworks at complete random? Do you forget how the first couple of months were straight up a mix of Showa Troll and people complaining about virtually everything that existed?

Yeah, /ssg/ has always had waifu posting, and has a couple people who just get triggered by anything PR related, but you can talk about absolutely any series and get discussion. Hell, the last two threads have had tons of people asking for show recommendations, you're just choosing to zone in on the gravure and shark girl posting instead of actual discussion.

Just look at the last /krg/ and many before and tell me with a straight face it's better than /ssg/ when both basically waver the same and do a fine job of discussing their source material with other stuff sprinkled about. There's so many more generals worse than these that I can't even believe you could consider either of them terrible.

If a driver plows into me because he's texting, I feel it would be my own fault for not seeing HIM and avoiding him. When I ride, I assume everyone on the road is out and able to kill me, and I accept that whatever happens to me on the road is on my own shoulders.

Could I still get fucked up? Of course. But the chances are way down if all precautions are observed and I accept that my safety is my own burden. You can never be 100% safe on the road, all you can act to make the odds favor you as best as possible.

I'm lucky that I live in an area where it's pretty safe to ride. If I were still living in New England, I probably wouldn't because the roads and drivers are too hazardous. It's true that Americans generally don't look out for bikes.

America is HUGE in comparison to other developed countries and we have much more of a culture around driving and the road than most of them. Statistically it just makes rates of accidents higher.

A friend of mine was on the highway driving back from work one day, saw a guy on a motorcycle, suited up with a helmet and everything, accidentally hit a pothole on the road, which cause the bike to flip out of control and his head hit the ground at 70mph. Instant, bloody death. That kind of shit terrifies me and is why I will never get a motorcycle myself.
