>HnK movie Garo: Divine Flame announced for spring
Honoo no Kokuin is getting an english dvd release, will you be buying it Anons?
Helmet is the best part though
Should produce some good reaction images, at least.
It is oddly humanoid in some way, love the armour but it's definitly the most different Garo we've got
If you had to pick an artist other than Jam Project to do an OP for Garo, which one would you choose?
I admire your loyalty Anon
You're not wrong
>There will never be a Jam Project x Ichiro Mizuki song for Garo
>JAM Project x REVO song
this is my dream collab now
Music arrangements: REVO x JAM Project
Lyrics: REVO x Yuki Kajiura (they love each other, so)
Vocals: JAM Project x REVO x Kalafina
The world would colapse of sheer awesomeness after that one song, but it would be worth it. Now just needs the perfect name, and we can all die in despair knowing that it will never happen.
>A sound horizon album/play/concert like they usually do, but themed around GARO with JAM project thrown in the mix
>will never happen
What could such an amazing song be named though?
Knight in the Night?
Speaking of which, I wonder what kind of song Divine Flame will get? It'd be nice to get another song like Kaze - Tabidachi no Uta
That's probably entirely deliberate, since traditional samurai helmets had open slots in the eyes with hidden faces.
So yeah, the fact that they almost look like they could be the wearers eyes is probably the point, oddly enough.
We're just used to seeing gara be a European fashioned knight rather than a samurai.
I'm surprised Leon has a smile left after what he went through
What is the best fight in the series and why is it Kouga vs Sigma on the train?
Women can't use Soul Metal. Period.
ToQ 3 only managed it because she jammed her dad's bone in her arm and "tricked" his sword and it was still almost impossible for her to use with any finesse whatsoever.
You underestimate the power of the boobs. That magic is the strongest form of Makai magic straight from the depths of Makai itself
That is why you will never become a Makai Knight
That and if you pay attention, his fighting style and body language in the armor are still very wild and aggressive. Leon didn't stop being angry, he just found a way to properly channel it. Everything about his Garo reflects that.
The exceptions there are Lost Shine and Leon's first form, which are both explicitly stated to be weaker.
Sho and Jin are just as powerful as the "true" Garo is for the Saejimas and Alfonso/Leon, but they play with Ryuga and Raikou's natures better and are easier for them to use.
>implying politics and drama are opposites
It was just one retard saying it, then others started to repeating it. The booklet for Gold Storm BD (movie) says the same that this >>13770534 anon here says, something along the lines of "it's better for Ryuga" or something.
It's probably one hundred named/major Horrors. Considering those seem to show up roundabout once or twice a week and there are other Knights taking care of them, it can take a while. Like, assuming Kouga officially became Garo when he was ~18 and assuming Kouga was Konishi's age at the time (~22-23, I think), it could be a few years.
Started watching the show. So in ep 9 Kouga has that test where he fights the armor in dreamspace with his dad's sword. Was that just the standard "fight representation of your inner demons to prove your heroism" thing?
Also when do we find out what Zero's deal is?
All Knights have to go through a test in order to obtain their demon horse, it seems to be a constantly shifting thing, as in the fourth season,
Raiga's battle with Zajiis considered to be his inner trial despite not technically being a part of it.
You'll find out Zero's deal, just keep watching
The Gold Storm movie booklet actually says Sho is a result from the hopes and dreams of Ryuga, Rian, Ryuma and Agou as protector ones gathering into the armor. So it should be like a permanent power up, although it probably only works for Ryuga.
The pictures from when it was shown before didn't look like piss
So most of his back (including his ass) are unarmored.
I see Leon is rocking that charm point then
anon that started watching. Just finished ep14 and I'm noticing a pattern that the show tends to move through the fight scenes really quickly. I mean I get that that's due to the time limit on the armor and the episodic nature of the show, but normally something like "a gate to the demon realm has opened up and is about spew forth horrors in the triple digits. You have to go into the portal, fight through the waves of horrors and blow up the thing summoning them" isn't done and over in less than 5 minutes (or least it feels longer than that). Due the other shows in the franchise continue this?
Yes and no, armour fights aren't too long most of the time but when there is something really climactic is happening the time limit is ignored
I just wish the scarves fell a little more naturally rather than just being straight down. I know they're on ball joints, but the figures we've had with twin scarves in the past, especially Nasca Dopant with his weighted ones, have looked a little more dynamic.
Tsubasa is pretty based
once he pulls the stick out of his ass
>The armors don't have a time limit when the writers don't need them to
Fucking Yasusuke was in armor for at least ten minutes in-universe last week. It's not something you can just re-summon when the time's up and start over.
I really hope that the golden variant of Zinogre's gear looks the way I'd like it to.
What were the threads like that day?
>Don't believe their lies
That's pretty much what the Goldstorm design is, it's just given more wearable proportions where as the MK leans toward the CG proportions.
I was watching Kiba Gaiden the other day for the first time, what's the deal with this scene? First they're fighting inside Barago's mind (white space) and then they fall down to Makai? What's with the dragon? it symbolizes Barago's darkness swallowing the remnants of light inside him?
I'm guessing the entire fight was internal since it's set during the first season yet that Garo isn't Kouga. I think the same dragon (or an identical one) appears later in Makai Senki as well. Can't remember the context, though.
Is this the Masakazu one? Love the guy, his stories and art.
Why did they have to fuck over Zetman anime, i'm sad now.
Is the implication in 18 of HnK that Leon was extremely close to becoming a horror? The scene where he is burying
Laraand starts seeing the shadow of himself reminds me a lot of scenes where people would get possessed normally.
Too bad that nice gold will be a nasty-looking mustard yellow on the production figure.
I also still hate that his tassel things have no wave to them whatsoever, so they look like they'd be awkward in any position but straight down.
I never really got mother son vibes from them who knows, it'd just really bother me if a character who was in for barely an episode suddenly became the most important thing towards the end
I ain't saying anything
The new OP is gorgeous
>They're actually letting Zaruba talk
Neat, new eyecatches
Is this man fucking blind or something
So is this supposed to be Yorinobu's love interest?
Well thats new
Damn, this episode was pretty fucking good. I like Suetsumuhana a lot, the animation was good, and the Crimson Moon seems like a pretty interesting plot point. Also holy shit the new OP and ED are great
We get to part two and suddenly a brand new plot concept is introduced that can be tied back to Kaguya, that's something.
New songs are nice.
>Languages: English, Japanese
This episode was really really good, on par with HnK I'd say. If this keeps up I'll say it's better than YamiTera and Makai no Hana, but those first 14 episdoes really do a hit to the overall quality.

>They don't burn the scroll to reveal Watchdog orders, they just read the scroll itself.
Boo. Good episode, though.
I'll be damned, the CG in this episode was actually pretty fucking good
>Character is called ugly by people around her
>Is obviously extremely attractive
That always bothers me
Did anybody else think of Bloodborne when this moment happened?
We're still really in the dark about the characters' ages. I assume Seimei is somewhere in her mid-20s and Raikou is at least 18, but it's unclear. We especially don't know what the fuck Kintoki's deal is.
>We especially don't know what the fuck Kintoki's deal is
This shot seems ominous
Average 300 in bd and dvd sale for cheaper bd is the truth i can't even remember series lower that average. so that number is very low for sales furthermore 2 episode season worth sales
Well the GARO pachinco community is more active than the actual series.
They have magazines, seminars, niconico live broadcast, dedicated BBS and 2ch threads with new information of the contents and data updates every 2 weeks.
Play style, how to improve accuracy, monthly Amemiya's interviews about his vision in making funkier graphics for the GARO pachinco machines, etc.
There is no anime pachinko (yet), since Amemiya isn't making the anime himself.
This horror had pretty good taste before he got possessed
Cool, learned something new today

Did he drop it? I want to start this one.
Wow, this is really.. different? I definetely like it, the most original/distinctive one I must say.
Today's episode was pretty neat, I loved the new op it feels like Saviour in the Dark, everything else improved a lot but I really miss Seimei, specially after the ominous parts in the intro where she goes brown.
It's going to hurt a lot when Raikou cuts her down, isn't it?
Looks like part one of Honoo no Kokuin is up for preorder on Amazon, with a bit of a mistake on the box art.
>Honoo no Kokuin is getting an english dvd release, will you be buying it Anons?
I’m not buying a HD show on DVD. I’ll buy the fuck out of a Jew-ray though. I won’t watch it in English because while I normally prefer (good) dubs, mixing and matching within a franchise flares my autism (and dubbing the toku would be stupid even if it ever happened); but I’d still buy copies just to support the franchise and show the suits that there is something of a market for it here.
I'll say it again: I love the color palette.
Anon, the first season opening already had ghostly hands trying to grab something.
I still think GnT is pretty crap compared to the others. Despite the claims of the increase in quality, I genuinely did not see it, and felt myself thinking throughout the episode "Was this made on the leftover budget of some other show?"
The only thing that stood out visually was that one CG shot posted here and the OP & ED. And even then, the new OP song is pretty garbage for a JAM Project song, it's very anti-climactic and subdued, even compared to the first one. Storywise I still think GnT really suffers from feeling too disjointed, and the episodes themselves are incredibly poorly paced, and the characters really suffer from it. I kind of feel embarrassed for everyone involved in it. It's a shame that such a cool armor design is stuck in such a shitty show.
Nah, this episode was a definite improvement animation wise, and I thought the writing was bit better as well. We actually have something resembling the main plot starting now which is nice
>Pretty garbage OP song
You're entitled to your opinion, but you should probably kill yourself anyway
