this is still the best thing in the history of 4chan
She was pretty much asking for it.
Is there a single booktuber who isn't utter shit? "I like how this book feels...Some books don't bend nicely, but this one flops really nice."
Am I wrong or is this just facebook-tier egoism hidden under the thin veneer of literature? Are there any legitimate arguments for the necessity of discussing literature in video form? This girl is literally just talking to herself for 11 minutes and holding up books she hasn't read, which she bought for reasons she doesn't remember, written by authors whose names she can't pronounce, and of whose premises she has only the absolute most elementary grasp.
Am I crazy? Is there a point to this I'm not getting? Or is it exactly as shallow and worthless as I think it is?
Nerd gets mad about inconsequential shit on the internet, part 45,652,378.
Of fucking course it's shallow and worthless. Why do you watch this shit, knowing full well that it's going to piss you off?
Funny story, I didnt know what a vowel or consonant was until the seventh grade because I was absent the day we learned about them in grade school. I like to think thats a flaw in our education system rather than my own fault though :^)
>wtf is this world coming to today?
this is a joke right?
These last 2 are just my favorites, but I'm out of /lit/
Why are people ashamed of this it's great. Obvs sexual threat aren't particularly nice but if you give a shit what a bunch a autists say then fuck you. She uploaded some crap, people who didn't like it made fun of her, she folded, end of. She could of carried on and deleted the comments but she didn't. I see this as only funny. What gives with all the guilt?
never been able to get through that whole thing
red slut is just on another level
>he thinks time is linear
Fresh shitty OC
bet you five bucks you can't write better than this
so can anyone explain to me why this isn't literature? My mind has expanded after reading this.
>took him 18 hours to come up with "it's a hologram"
it's because it's somehow '/lit/'s shining moment' and practically the only screenshotted thread that has come out of this place to be spammed all over the rest of 4chan. i understand why that is, it's just it's hardly the funniest moment to ever happen here, and it saddens me how often i see it, at least once a week, still. it's ridiculous.
Why do people respond to humorous pictures with "This is amazing", "perfect", "I love this", "There isn't a single place this went I didn't like"?
Fuck off back to plebbit with your awful posts.
aaand that is my parenting philosophy in a nutshell.
>a weird comment about stroking her face
>one slightly rude comment about her taste in 19th century literature
>one joke about her being a virgin
>has a meltdown and has to leave YouTube
What an over sensitive cunt, Jesus Christ. She's probably some stupid fucking femenist or sociology major who got taught that being insulted on the internet is the equivalent of physical assault. I have no idea what you guys see in her
not real indicative of my actual posture. first two are because the pack distributes the weight of my kid weirdly, and the third's because my shoulder was all fucked up and i climbed anyways. as someone who spends a lot of time being physical i'm very aware of my body mechanics.
Phonies and posers everywhere.
Basically people who enjoy "older" music, pretend to be punk or something. They want something that is 'original' while claiming that the only original bands are from the classic rock era to early 90s.
"George Orwell preached to replace words with a [sic.] simple English words if you can, delete words if you can replace them."
"No, giant word ARE NOT needed to explain your point, there is ALWAYS a simple English substitue. Using big words DOES NOT make your point any more valid or correct. It leaves a vauge understanding to what points you're trying to get across the table."
>U can't label us, we're original and unlabelable!!!11!!!!1
They all pulled the age card on this kid, even though they couldn't argue for shit.
And then they ask the kid to message 4chan to stop them from adding friend requests.
Clearly didn't research the matter, Schrodinger just uses the cat as a metaphor to explain "Quantum physics" a metaphor for fools mind you! Also please end this thread it is hurting my own intelligence >.<
not him but
there's very little of the established canon there m8
also the fact that they do and don't recommend books based on the level of 'negative' and sexual content is laughable. They clearly don't want people to read for the sake of ]literature, they want to make people read things that only fit into their world view.
Having just read the very last word that man ever wrote, that picture resonates a sadness deep within me.
She didn't fold because of a few negative comments, since this happens to everyone; she folded because an entire 4chan board ganged up on her, and we wouldn't stop until something like this happened.
Anyone whose mind isn't already in the gutter would do the same thing when facing rape threats and the rest of /lit/'s bullshit. It appears that people who spend too much time in here tend to forget that most things that are casually said in here should never be said elsewhere, or they simply don't care anymore.
The comments are killing me.
True. /lit/ is mostly populated by small people with small minds. One good rule of thumb is: If it isn't defendable IRL, then it isn't defendable on the internet.
So these faglords can go to the Fillippines. It is a knife culture where people are quite polite. Let's say that you're walking on the countryside on a path and bumps into someone. Good manners then is that both are making excuses and making sure that the other wasn't bumped badly. And the one who bumped the hardest should make the best excuses.
Because if you don't show proper respect, you may get knifed.
So imagine what would happen if you went right up to someone in the Fillippines and made rape threats...
One internet example is the now defunct forum Jodphur Fetish. It suffered for years of bad moderation. Despite this, some user does actually upload pics of his gf in riding clothes. Instead of everyone just savoring it, the resident retard "Rubber Horse" (a dane, btw), can't just shut up about his rape fantasies. And the mods just pretends that it rains.
Say to someone in a BDSM/fetish-club that you want to rape his gf outside the context of a rape play and you're insta-B& from the scene 4 lyfe! Period.
Ergo: If I could remove /lit/ for just one good reason it would be because of the treatment of her.
Trash gon' trash.
It's fascinating, really. The fact that "sexy" is the word used to compliment this 2/10's picture - where she is posing with the child she is surely raising as a single mother - really tells you a lot of what's going on in the minds of these people.
British, American or Australian though? I'm guessing British.
I've been stumbling over words lately that can never be used by anyone ever, unless they're gigantic faggots. The word that made me realize that some words simply cannot ever be used was "ignoramus".
"Gah" as an exclamation is the same. Using "indubitably" is walking a very fine fucking line. In 1/100 cases, it can probably be used, but mostly not.
Does anyone know other such words?
He tipped in "it's a hologram" as soon as he saw the last reply, then he positioned the mouse cursor over the send button and waited, and waited for full 18 hours, finally, slowly and maliciously, with determined grin on his face, he pressed the button, ...and then the fireworks started, and then the universe stopped expanding
>either doesn't understand what I'm saying or doesn't agree with me
>still spreads the message
Thank you, super fag!
>"The white world"
Ach Gott, meine seiten
>I've been stumbling over words lately that can never be used by anyone ever, unless they're gigantic faggots.
>Does anyone know other such words?
Syzygy. It's the best word for the job, overall.
