It's similar to my race. Important but just another part of my identity that will never change.
I've seen women transition to men and the more they do, the less appealing they get to me. The excessive body hair alone is a big turn-off. Plus, they want to be men which is incompatible to what I want.
I've never been in a situation where I wanted to date or keep dating someone who is or wanted to be masculine. I'm pretty certain I wouldn't go for it though. If I could overlook physical characteristics so easily and still feel romantic and sexual attraction no matter what, I'd be bisexual in the first place. But I'm not.

So, I can't really talk to other lesbians IRL about this, I don't think I would become a pariah, but I would certainly be mocked. The thing is, I'm really into straight girls. Not lesbians who are in the closet or girls who don't know that they are lesbians; I'm into totally heterosexual girls. I don't hit on straight girls. I like old school/golden aged mysteries best. Right now I'm reading a bunch of Ngaio Marsh. Christie is good so long as you stick to Marple and Poirot. The rest of her stuff tends to be kind of shit with the odd exception here or there. I also like Rex Stout, Anne Perry and Dick Francis. In all seriousness, I like to experiment with shit too. Though my skills are limited so it's fairly tame. My most recent invention is what I call my "Homemade Vegetarian Beef Chili from a can"
