It's an underpriced gun imo, it ticks the same boxes that the Ruger Precision does for less than the Gen 1 RPR cost and MUCH less than the Gen 2. That they are still hard to find 8 months after release is evidence. Cabellas and Sportsmans Warehouse both hiked their nationwide prices $100 after the first batch sold out.

If you can be patient, they are sold for as little as $850. IMO $1,000 is still fair.

Protip: I found mine by calling super remote national chain storess who ship to local stores for free. My particular rifle came from Sportsman's Warehouse in Wasilla Alaska, I called there and had them send it to Portland.

I'm wanting a new optic for my AR. I've been using a dinosaur Aimpoint CompM2 for a very long time now and it's time I finally upgraded. I'm just not sure what I want.

For just a normal red dot, I'm considering the Trijicon MRO. Is there any real negatives I should know about it? If not that I'm considering spending a little more for an Aimpoint Micro or just getting s PRO (because I'm already used to the size of the CompM2 and the PRO isn't very big compared to what I'm used to). Of those three, which is the best for the money? I want to spend as little as I can on a decent red dot, otherwise I'd rather just pony up the cash for an ACOG.
