Okay so it looks like KAC FDE is meant to match Magpul FDE and their Tan is pretty light.

If you want to get into the LPV game, I'd recommend just waiting and saving some money. Used trijicon 1-4x can go for as low as 500 shipped with a decent mount on EE from time to time. If you already have a nice aimpoint, I'd stick with it until you can invest in quality glass. I was impatient and picked up PA 1-4x, which isn't terrible, but now that I've had the time to experiment with fixed magnification vs LPV and had the chance to shoot a significant higher quality LPV and understand the difference, I regret the time and money I wasted on getting something cheap just too have something to plink with at longer ranges.

There are complete slick sides, there are ones without FA but with deflector and dust cover, without fa with deflector and no dust cover but I haven't seen one without deflector, without FA and with dust cover.

Oh, you're going to want that shell deflector on there. Mine is chewed up right at the base from the violent rear-biased ejection, without it your shoulder and possibly face would be pelted. Look where the crescent shaped dent is.

I would have recommended the CMT but you said no billet. I almost bought one for my 12" but then I realized it was ugly and I didn't trust the brand.

It's a 45lc, and I had the opportunity to buy the longer barrel but honestly didn't like it.

The TD panel is great for attaching a remote, but it's thicc as fuck. Not really liking it much so I will probably cave and put it on the broomhandle with some bicycle inner tibe.

It's also got a grippy texture to it, if that's your thing.
