Mlok has proven to be the superior system, keymod is probably going to be mostly obsolete in a few years, all the major manufacturers are going away from it. Quadrails are of course functional, but needlessly bulky and heavy.

>>
>>34179905
Brownells has one of the worst shipping services I've ever encountered
>>
>>34179905
I don't, if they delayed call them and see if they'll waive the charge. But if it shipped already, and it's the shipping company being lazy cunts, direct your ire there.

Brownells is the raddest for returns, I don't know how they'll handle shipping problems but in my experience, when something went on back order they billed me for a second shipping charge. I called them because the item showed in stock when I placed the order but went OOS come shipping day, and they refunded the second shipping charge when the second shipment left, even though it was standard practice to charge so.

>>34179933
State your experience or kys.
>>
>>34179944
They did it for my last order too. Me thinks they use the same fedex service whether you pay 8 or 15 dollars and it's just a ruse

Also for this order
>site says it's shipped
>tracking number doesn't exist with either fedex or usps

>>
>>34179958
I certainly hope not, but you should call and ask by which method your delivery was shipped. Also it says on the label on the box whether it is "ground" or "3 day" or whatever, take note of that rather than speculate. If Brownells is actually charging you for expedited shipping while not doing so, I don't defend the behavior.

>>34179974
Where does it say they are obligated to ship on the next business day? If you're paying for 3 day shipping, Brownells is going to send it via 3 day shipping. What they do before then is not dictated by your urgency. I've never heard of a business who guarantees to ship the next business day, though I've seen plenty who say they "strive" to.

>>34179994
What's your story? I need to weigh your displeasure against my succulent Brownells checks.

>>34180015
Tracking numbers usually take 1-3 days to show up online, and another 1-2 days to show the first progress beyond "received." They're doing the same as any other business and generating a shipping label via their USPS/Fedex/UPS account, which they give you you before those couriers even have the package yet.

Yeah I don't know why it takes longer at the start but it does for certain with USPS. I've sent packages myself that don't even update any shipping information until it's delivered, then it updates with the whole travel history.

>>34180121
You sound like one of these demanding "customer is always right" millennials who think every business is required by law to bend over backwards to accommodate you every which way. Well they aren't, they do their best to keep customers happy but no business is obligated to drop their whole queue and move your order to the front. I think you know that's the case and you're just being silly.

>>34180131
That is not at odds with anything I have said. You can get a tracking number immediately, the package will be shipped the following business day, and because you live in the midwest instead of on the West coast like Orange and I do, you get your package sooner. When I used to live in California, I would get packages from Newegg the very next day because I lived three towns over.

>>34180153
>actually ships the afternoon I ordered it
Literally never happened once from any online retailer as big as SGAmmo, Midway, Brownells or PA. Literally not once. You may, like the other guy, get your package sooner because you live nearby, but they absolutely don't prioritize your order over the huge queue just to get your package out the door on the same day. The REALLY big retailers may do 2 pickups a day but most do 1 pickup for each courier per day, early in the morning. You're not placing an order in the afternoon and having it ship the same afternoon, that's preposterous.

>>34180180
Again, this is not at odds with anything I've said. Unless you are implying that you have private knowledge about the date of the orders contained within the boxes you handle, in which case you're a liar or a thief.

Do you really think that Brownells is taking your order and just sitting on it for 3 days because they are lazy? "Oh fuck it, we'll get these 15,000 orders out whenever, they can wait." Come on my man.

Amazon is the exception. I realize I'm moving goal posts and I apologize but they really are singular in the online retailer world because they have ~80 warehouses all over the country, not just one warehouse like Brownells or PA or Midway. Their order volume is so incredible that if they only got one pickup per day, they would be overwhelmed in a forest of piled boxes every day. They need a fully automated stock retrieval system in many warehouses just to tread water. Not even Newegg does that. They literally CAN'T delay.

Their same-day and one-hour delivery services are even more astounding, but can only be done in certain areas and only for certain items.

Actually, add Amazon to my shill list because their warranty is pretty great too.

Also I'm not saying a company SHOULD delay shipping or that it's okay, just that it frequently happens. I ordered a few hundred rounds of 6.5CM from MilitaryShooters and it took them SIX BUSINESS DAYS to even ship the package. They've delayed every order I've placed.

I just ordered those Colt mags from Brownells this afternoon, let's see how long it takes for them to actually ship.

I think y'all kiddos are just way too impatient. It's to the point where you think all these businesses are out to annoy you personally.

>Do you really think that Brownells is taking your order and just sitting on it for 3 days because they are lazy?
I think they do it because they have a very inefficient order processing situation. You know, shit I've seen plenty of in five years while working for UPS, like insisting on using markings on prepared shipments instead of a digital index, too few employees tasked with preparing said shipments, a cluttered loading dock etc. etc. etc.

Fact is, if a company takes three cocksucking days to even get your order into the system, they suck at it. Period.

I agree. If Brownells did that regularly, I would agree about them being poor at shipping. But in my voluminous experience with Brownells, packages from them have not been abnormally delayed, they nearly always ship on the following business day. They are unquestionably behind Amazon and smaller businesses that still have the strong motivation and small order throughput to ship extremely quickly and cheaply, but all the big boys suffer the same 1-3 day delay on shipping.

I think that a 2 or 3 day delay is sloppy but excusable. I think a 4+ day delay is unacceptable. But expecting same-day shipping from a huge retailer is not realistic. It takes extraordinary measures to meet that demand, and as yet Amazon is the only one to do it consistently, by having 80 warehouses and an army of robot slaves.

There really isn't competition here for them to lose against. EVERY online retailer delays shipping by a day or two, it's a matter of balancing the cost of logistics against profit. They're not delivering transplant organs, they're delivering toys for boys.

tl;dr I don't mind ground shipping plus a day or two if it means I'm saving a significant amount of money on the order versus another retailer.

Now where's that Faygo swigging fucker? I need to know more about Augs. When the FUCK do these things come out?

Again, maybe if you had a single week of experience in shipping you'd know how easy it is to avoid, but I guess you can just go on and handwave inefficient practices and act like you know more than a guy who picked up shit from companies like Brownells for five years in Florida. If you think a day or two delay is abnormal, apparently not a whole lot.

I've spent a LOT of money online from every conceivable level of retailer. Brownell's isn't even my go-to, Rog or Wing are. Almost nobody ships same day, not even the little guys. Nearly all of them ship the following business day. You cannot dispute my experience, I've lived it, it is fact. Stop whinging already.

You're right, and I didn't imply that was the norm. Please, calm down, breathe, and read.

Stop acting like a 3 day delay from order to shipment is in any way unavoidable or acceptable in this era of template shipping indexes, readily on-call shippers with more employees and trucks than ever and ever-decreasing costs, and suck my scrotum.

So here's the eternal question:
McDonald's or Wendy's?

>>34181279
Me too. EE is great for optics and stuff that doesn't decay or break. Brownells has flat $7.95 shipping. Like I said, I don't mind waiting for garbage-mode couriers if it means I'm saving money. Nobody else had TriggerTech triggers for under $150 in stock, and that's before shipping. It's not the kind of thing to be found used either, too rare.

But the time in transit is on the courier, not Brownells.

I was just showing that somehow they actually shipped the same day. So Brownells is SO GOOD that they made me a liar about shipping. Brownells ships same day!*
