Side mount is proprietary, but I believe a gunsmith can remove it and attach an ak master mount. Although, for the money, you should do what I'm doing, and get the Texas weapon systems rail.
As for the stock, if it will fit a WASR 10, it should fit this AK as well.

That really sucks about that other FAL though. If you don't go with a build. DSA would probably be your easiest option unless another great deal pops up.

But I could also afford an SP5K with that which would be much cheaper, in terms of the price of the gun and the price of the trigger pull. I think I would have more fun with a SP5K as well. I got it in January, but yeah. I like it, it's just from an area of collecting that I really don't have as much interest in collecting as I thought I would. Vietnam War stuff is cool but I just didn't care to collect stuff from it as much as thought I would after getting the XM. I was H Y P E D for it, and when I got it it was cool and all but I dunno, there are just other things I'd rather have and focus time and money into collecting. I mean this was my first AR in years and yeah it was a nice refreshing thing that was a cool historical piece but in the end it was just another AR and while I can appreciate them for what they are I just find them boring
