I currently have a Unity Tactical fusion hub front sight that also serves as a mount for my Protac. I like it, but the position of the light could be better.

Going with IWC thorntail for M600, lower profile and further forward/more comfortable. Since I am not getting another fusion hub, didn't see much need for another folding sight

I had that same rear, i think it was a different brand but that design is made by a dozen different chink factories.
It was ok, got the job done but it was pretty loose all around. I wouldn't trust it to survive a direct hit if I dropped the rifle on a hard surface.

This is apparently news to you, but putting your bullets where you want them is made up of a number of different factors.

A mechanically consistent barrel, where every bullet leaves the same way is one part. Two barrels that are otherwise identical, but one is 10", the shorter will be ever so slightly more consistent.

The extra velocity you get from a longer barrel means fuck ups in range estimation can be paved over some, and the bullets will suffer less wind deflection.
