In my opinion after building an AR for ~1700-1800 before light/optics/etc. KAC after having a chance to use one.

Never used LMT, but it's in the same price bracket as KAC.

Daniel Defense is middling performance IMO their stuff does nothing for me.

In the world of competition oriented ARs I don't know but for my purposes shit like Cobalt Kinetics doesn't appeal.

by turning the magpul attachment around and mounting the sling on the other side of the qd endplate, the sling's padded portion no longer gets in between my face and the stock.
the magpul qd being reversed also allows me to use a standard grip behind the vfg for more stability.

also, i removed those little plastic adjustment things and the sling seems freer, if that makes sense.

Yeah but that's an M93B which mounts differently. F93 is easier to mount because it uses an M4-type end plate and castle nut but looks a little worse for it imo.

Like the UBR, the 93 is extremely solid and the interior of the receiver extension is very smooth, but unlike the UBR there is always a place for your cheek on the 93. Once the UBR gets past a certain point, your cheek is floating in air.

Are you working with carbine, mid, or rifle length gas? Good drop in will cost you roughly the same as cheap free float so it's really up to you. You'll need a lowpro gas block for FF though
