I'm considering selling mine to buy an East German folder because it'll fill the same roll and in my opinion it's a cooler rifle from a cooler and more interesting country, but that's only because I can't afford to just buy outright and if I could only have one I'd prefer DDR build

I want the best features. I'm not a fan of standard akms and have nothing but contempt for slant brakes after seeing what it did to my groups and point of impact vs removing it.
There's to to be some blowby of gas on the bullet and the slant seems to push those gases on the bullet very unevenly as it exits.

This. It's not a real BHO.
A real BHO requires something in the gun itself to hold the bolt back. Then you can remove the mag, because the mag's only job is to trigger the part within the gun. Once pressure is on that part from the bolt, it's not going anywhere until you pull the bolt back and release the pressure.

Pistol and rimfire have a shit ton of free steel targets, and rifle gallery has a single free steel at 100, but you can bring your own

Host a lot of events too, even a 500 yard shoot once a month
