HB 2354 - Assault Weapons and high capacity magazine ban. This one is the largest and most impactful to our 2A rights here in WA state. Your classic mega AWB ban that would make us like CA and NY. The good news is this exact same bill has been submitted the last 4 sessions and has gone nowhere. Doesn't keep them from continuing to try and means we need to continue to fight it!

The City of Seattle has failed contumely to ban firearms in places like parks and now they have taken their battle statewide. This bill if passed would severally degrade our WA state constitutional rights.

Heck, just hit up North 40 in Omak, grab a buncha tannerite, and head out on state land anywhere. Nothing but old burnt up sagebrush and hills... so it ends up being great for shooting distances. Perk of growing up out here I guess. Grab a small sandbag, mount bipod, and snag that ammo and pew pew pew! No one bats an eye except for the coasties that come over for cross country skiing.

If you're talking about the spots out past the Wilkeson school they fucking suck. There's a few decent places to shoot clays but no suitable backstop for anything else, and a couple places where you can shoot rifles/handguns at short range, maybe 25-35 yards but that's about it.
I still say Greenwater/FS70 is the best bet for both usability and ease of access unless there's something nice and long just on the east sides of 410 or I-90 passes.
