Does anyone else hate this fucking show? I can't imagine a worse way to represent the firearms community to the world
>all socially awkward hicks
>scripted to make the cast sound stupid
>exploding targets every fucking time
Give other examples of what makes gun owners look incompetent and dangerous
whats new. before the Alaska shows was Preppers and even many of the people on that show omitted to being paid to act insane or say ludicious things to a tin foil tier level. except for apex predator they found their gold nugget on that one.
>Most hicks in Alaska are actually socially awkward
>They are 7/10 always autistic
>we actually use tannerite a lot.
God I hate being an Alaskan some times.
But then those 3/10 smart hicks are always fucking GOAT people.
They are non-existent, the ones that are here were not born here. Alaska does not give birth to Women, only Males and pigs.
Although there are rumors some tiny towns are home to hundreds of 9/10 qts.
I have indeed been to one of these towns and seen only 7/10 - 9/10 QTs
>before the Alaska shows
They offered big tax breaks to companies who filmed here. The current Governor rescinded that.
Gun owners only make themselves look bad
Not supporting common sense initiatives like here in Switzerland makes you guys look crazy to the rest of the world
Enjoy your mass shootings and negligent discharges.
>implying you're Swiss
>implying mass shootings occur at an 'alarming' rate.
>implying negligent discharges are just God's way of weeding out the idiots.
enjoy that jackboot on your throat there bootlicker.
technically another one that gun owners always said that antis want gun confiscation and everyone would say your crazy. tho now their showing their true colors with gun confiscation and still saying were insane.
>Enjoy your mass shootings and negligent discharges
literally 1% of a 1% and trigger discipline
Caring about what Europeans think of us is so '90s.
Its really not all that different from the lower 48. Here in South Central Alaska Winters are actually pretty mild and the last few years have had very little snow. Much less than most of the northern states. Day to day essentials are not really all that bad but housing is expensive for the most part.
>since they pay nice bonuses for teachers who live there a certain amount of time
pretty sure that's out in the bush where you're hundreds of miles from a real city. They have a notoriously high turnover rate from what I understand.
Depends which region of Alaska, its a big fucking place. The Southern part is mostly California now. The Northern part is still pretty rural, the city Fairbanks is small but large enough to have just about everything you NEED. Otherwise you'll go bored to tears if you aren't an outdoors person or a Hasguns.
Damn, Alaska looks beautiful. I would love to there one day but I don't know about living there. I'm a Nodak so temperature isn't a bother but I don't like how little sunlight we get here during the winter so I would hate Alaskan winters. That and I like North Dakota.
The limited sunlight in winter is a bummer but you get 24 hours a day of it in the summer.
>Winters are mild and not much snow.
You must have moved up after 2011 or so, because before then we usually had about 5 feet of snow each winter, with -40 F for the month of January.
But these last 3 winters have been freakishly mild and really easy to get through.
The housing is only pricey if you rent apartments or dry cabins alone. Otherwise git friends and rent a house split 3 ways its only 400 bucks.
I've lived in Palmer for twenty years. I don't think I've ever seen -40F locally. As far as snow, we did used to get more it seemed. Still plenty of snow if you drive up toward Cantwell though.
About December and January are really the only times we have no sun, but we have constant sun rising and falling for 4 hours, from about 11am to 2-3 pm
Oh yeah, it gets cold up there. I've never been to Fairbanks during the deepest darkest winter. I do like the auto museum and the ice sculpture show though.
>might as well call it the FuddFather
With each mild winter the people on the roads get ever more autistic, doesn't help they began salting our roads up here rather than rocking them. (Salt doesn't work up here because it's so cold)
Just waiting to see this
>Bob is prepping for when the Laser beam from the death star that missed in ROTJ, impacts the moon
>That was a long long time ago in a galaxy far far away... so it might be here at any day now!!
>Bob and his wife run a dragon dildo web store out of their one car garage that is connected to his trailer, He has Spent $300,000.00 building a bunker in the woods in an undisclosed location... of of the Freeway, near the gas station off exit 308.
>here he has lots of guns and food to survive... he also has 4 white painted air vents that stick out of the ground that he needs to bring fresh air in to breath that in no way can be used to pour in flaming gasoline or other toxic substances by ppl.
>practical preppers looked at his preps and jacked off to it, so much so that they gave him a rating of 7/10... which was freshly pulled straight from their asses.
>I can't imagine a worse way to represent the firearms community
Does the cast like to abuse and/or rape guns and/or children?
If not, then it is about as positive as you are likely to get.
OK so stupid question. If I drive from lower 48 to Alaska what do I do with the guns? I can't just carry th em through Canada can I ? Mail them to myself? Take a ferry from Washington? Wtf murika?
Anti gun groups make it their mission statement to reduce gun crime to zero (not total crime, just gun crime. If it wasn't done with a gun then they dindu nuthin). Somehow confiscation will prevent anyone from illegally buying or making a gun, so that's what they want. They want confiscation and they aren't bashful about saying so.
> Dianne Feinstein
> "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them . . . Mr. and Mrs. America, turn 'em all in, I would have done it. I could not do that. The votes weren't here."
Her position has not changed since.
These people have actual power, and would confiscate if they could. Some day they'll have those votes if we don't stay vigilant.
Like ordering stuff from the Internet, but no ammo orders, and shipping is more (fuck yeay free amazon prime shipping)
You get internet from asshole telecommunications companies like everyone else.
not him but is it really that bad to go the slow route? when my company ships to HI and AK it's $30 (as opposed to $8 to the rests of the country, heh) for ground but I figure you can still save more than $30 on ammo if you are buying in bulk.
It's not shipping ground, it's shipping on a barge, on the water.barge has 'x' number of HazMat slots where nothing goes under or above, those slots are for explosives used in mining and for ammo going to stores. You want to ship your ammo in those spots? Pay the fuck up.
These faggots. Show got cancelled after the star of the show was arrested and convicted of three separate rape charges.
It started out pretty good, I think.
Went downhill pretty quickly.
Still beats the hell out of any episode of pic related
>1/2-giraffe eye candy daughter
>endless criminal charges
Was anyone shocked that it was discovered he's a lying, cheating bastard?
It is a toss up whether Wyatt or Hayden is the bigger sleaze-bag.
Having a bunch of uneducated people sort of happens when you have so many of them living far away from schools. It's the price of living on the frontier; I'd rather have my Alas/k/an morons than Californian intellectuals, at any rate.
We can't keep ammo in our homes. We're a trained militia like the American National Guard, and we have background checks and registration. Crazy people and criminals can't buy guns here.
We also don't have vigilantes running around open carrying and shooting anyone who steals a candy bar or $10.
Family Guns. Appears to still be playing on nat geo uk. Looking up that info I found a surprising number of articles about ATF raids and criminal charges brought against a lot of the gun shops that have reality shows. Is it coincidence? Are most gun shops really breaking laws? Or does the presence of television shows about firearms just conflict with the liberal agenda triggering a backlash of raids and "investigations"?
>We also don't have vigilantes running around open carrying and shooting anyone who steals a candy bar or $10.
Wow, same here.
Take your "hurdur open carriers are triggerhappy" and get the fuck out.
