Tryhard no talent that hangs around popular people to absorb some of their limelight.
He'll probably do a talk show that lasts for a few years then do panto until he dies of an OD.

"We fear God when we do justice to and demand justice for the Men within our own borders. Whatever may be the case in an infinitely remote future, at present no people can render any service to humanity unless as a people they feel an intense sense of national cohesion and solidarity... A flabby cosmopolitanism, especially if it expresses itself through a flabby pacifism, is not only silly, but degrading... One of the besetting sins of many of our public servants is to cloak weakness or baseness of action behind insincere oratory on behalf of impractical ideals. Peace is not the end. Righteousness is the end. When the savior saw the money changers in the temple he broke the peace by driving them out... Fear God and take your own part!"

Still fuming about yesterday
Fucking hell, looked forward to treating myself to a mcdonalds breakfast all week before work
Ask for no fucking cheese on my mcmuffin and and a bottle of water and they try giving me a mocha, then when I get half way down the motorway it has cheese on it.
They truly are braindead mongs, I can't wait for automation
I'm 21 and get paid 27k for a job I lucked into that people usually do years of other work before starting the ladder on because it has great prospects.
Have a gf and a genuinely healthy social life etc, I just love the little things.
It's not the getting the train to London, it's having a nice warm drink to look out the window with sorta thing.
It's you who has a shit life if you can't appreciate that
mcdonalds hash browns are amazing even if theyre not real hash browns
complain to the head office people not the franchise, they send in auditors and fucking spank the managers for transgressions that give MacD a bad name. You will also get free food.
I told them I don't want their free shit I just want somebody to have a word because it's happened more than once
They didn't seem that arsed though and just said 'we'll pass it on' because it's a franchise, almost like they couldn't give a shit because it wasn't theirs
Please, don't support automation
I am in the midst of writing a dystopian dialogue focusing on the dangers of automation. In this story, people go crazy with automation, everything becomes automated. It gets to the point where the automation never stops. after a massive oil spill, the automated wells keep pumping more oil into the ocean. Massive fires. Lots of destruction. the people cannot control them.
Is that the future you want?
>Order ona computer screen that doesn't mess up
>Tell it what I want so there can be no mistake
>Get into the office and my morning meetings with the food I want and not hungry
>Some spastic can't put through simple orders
>Get given the wrong food I don't like
>Don't eat it
>Spend my meetings hungry and grumpy
Computers lack emotion and wisdom to know what is right
You not eating that mcgriddle was the right thing to do, because it would clog your heart. A computer wouldn't know that. It would feed you mcgriddles until you become obese
I will look it up, thanks
In this theoretical novel. Humans, from the moon, visit Earth, "the planet of the machines". Earth is lifeless. Nothing moves on earth, except the automated machines which still do their programming. Oil rigs pump empty crevices in the earth, solar powered automobiles and airplanes still moves
But I'll look at that
Guess what this graph is about, lads
I'm sure you do, lad.
I work directly with people earning more money than I ever will, talking like a million plus, and they even enjoy the little things like that.
The only time somebody would genuinely try to get a feeling of superiority over that is when they have nothing else going for them.
I actually feel a bit sorry for you
have you ever thought how strange it is that Earth is just hovering? Like...think about it. Why isn't all the planets constantly falling through space? Which way would they even fall?
Is it because of Suns gravity? How does the sun stay so still..what's the sun's "sun"?
In reality, good sour flavor really comes down to technique. All starter-based breads—those are breads in which the leavening comes from a batch of yeast and microbe-infested dough, rather than from dried or blocked commercial yeast—are made by combining a proportion of starter dough with fresh dough. That starter is packed with little buggers.
According to this great Discover Magazine article, a single teaspoon of active starter contains as many as 50 million yeasts and 5 billion lactobacilli bacteria. There are more bugs in a half cup of starter than there are humans who have ever existed in the universe. Think about that next time you bite into a loaf!
Wait till you start looking at Hohmann transfers
I fucking know right.
The guy proposing the bill couldn't even outline what 'psychoactive' meant and needed help from that woman, who couldn't define it either.
It's an absolute farce that it's being given royal assent when nobody can even define it in clear terms.
How are they supposed to enforce a law that they themselves can't understand?
Fucking retards I swear. And this is what they're paid to do.
But they're not meant to be
Holy shit I can't fathom why this 'all MPs r dumb' train is so fucking popular.
They literally discuss everytihng from nuclear submarines to environmental soil waste to whether or not wearing ties in the House is outdated and silly, and much more.
They get fed by assistants, advisors, commtitees and their constituents.
Just because you think the answer is clear, doesn't mean you are the only one with an opinion, you can guarantee they had loads of constituents write in who they are representing, even if it seems silly.
Best way to know if somebody is a retard is to see if they think MPs are.
T. used to work for an MP
They're not supposed to be, they're representatives of their constituency population. Their job is to be charismatic or at least convincing.
That's what the Lords is for. Since they got rid of most hereditary peers, Lords are experts in their fields who are appointed to advise Parliament on issues they are knowledgeable about. Same goes for the civil service
On this particular case, they've dismissed evidence from the ACMD (advisory council for misuse of drugs) because the research shows that this bill is a waste of time.
What other possible field of debate would allow that to happen?
Policy that outright disregards reality.
>mfw reading conversations I had several years ago on a particular forum that I will not name
Are you fucking serious?
You can't be this dense.
They meet literally 3 days a week with these types of people who come in and discuss with them, and then they have really smart people who help them also do the research and get experts to come in.
They might go against this for political points or for a variety of reasons.
Being on the 'drugs r really cool XD' train might win over you, who is statistically low on the chances to turn up and vote next time round, but it won't win over Dorris and Herbert who are counting the days til the next time they write a letter to the MP and then go and vote.
I genuinely can't believe that people think MPs aren't aware of this shit and are genuinely stupid. It literally blows my mind how unaware people are of the pressures exerted on them.
I work for a fairly innocuous company lobbying MPs and a lot of the time they have to follow what we say, even if it isn't popular, because we hold a big part of the key to getting them re-elected.
Everybody wants an impartial legislature but the real world just doesn't work like that
what would be illegal?
If you think lobbying is me turning up and giving them 5000 pounds and telling them to vote one way, it's not.
But if you think me saying 'we'd love to open a new place in your area and create 1000 new jobs but we can't if we get tied up by new environmental legislations' doesn't happen , it does.
It's not illegal, it's just discussion.
Only retards who think 'le government is evil and should smack le evil corporations' don't understand this.
What a lot of young people don't realise is that old people get cranky, have all the free time, and genuinely care about the old days.
Words can't explain how fucking mindnumbing it is reading through letters of old people and saying 'sorry, you're gonna have to tone down the speech I give you because Herbets blown his casket again along with the Timbucktwo old people's association who regularly vote'
>tfw no Suarez hat trick against Norwich today
What are you on about?
Are you saying that cartels are lobbying the government to hand more of the market over to them?
Write more concise please.
I know it's your job to spout shit, but there's a time and place.
It's a Saturday and I'm talking about work on 4chan.
I really can't be arsed trying to dumb down anymore how basic things work, particularly with a lad that thinks lobbying is illegal for some reason.
Lobbying isn't always bad, it's just another media circus that people like to attend because they heard once that a tobacco company paid for something or whatever.
I'm not being rude, but you don't seem to grasp some of the basics, which is why you're struggling.
>Are you saying that cartels are lobbying the government to hand more of the market over to them?
This makes zero sense.
In the area of environmental legislation, which I do not work, but come across in my time in Westminster, it can often be very localised to it the area.
Often, local legislation affecting areas can somehow end up in Westminster in committees etc where they make recommendations.
If you're gonna say that such and such a place is gonna cut it's carbon emissions and only allow new buildings of a certain size that only pollute so much, there will almost defnitely be an organisation somewhere asking an MP to reconsider for job growth.
We could all live in a hippy happy planet, but nobody realistically wants to fall behind in economic growth, piss away jobs and go back to living in huts.
It's a balance and my job is to try and help find it.
Cartel, free market, and all that is just buzzword bingo you aren't even using correctly.
I think it's more the fact she launches into a personal attack, he rebuts her with his actually admirable background compared to hers and she gets upset, results into more personal attacks then says she feels the victim
>write more concise
>writes a fucking book
>Trying to condense a highly complex issue into babyspeak for a guy that doesn't understand the basics
>There are people here who think 12 easily digestible lines equate to a book
I was never gonna win
It's a balancing act and lobbying works both ways, both or poorer people and for richer people.
There's lobbying from literally every side. Right now, Oxfam is advertising a job for a lobbyist.
>You will help ensure Oxfam has a solid network of positive and constructive relationships with UK parliamentarians from across parties in order to further our influencing objectives, including through directly holding relationships with key individuals. You will work with parliamentarians on a range of Oxfam global development and humanitarian issues
It's all well and good when you get elected because you promised to open a new school, but what do you do when China gets caught hacking the UK and you're debating cyber security, something which your constituents don't even know about, nevermind understand enough to vote for you on.
By the way, if you read earlier, you'll see quite clearly that I mention how local people writing to MPs has a huge effect.
We used a basis that for every letter or complaint we received about a general issue, that worked out at about 100 other people that felt that way.
If we ever got ten, we started to sit up a bit more.
just out of interests, and I don't expect you to know this but throw your thoughts in anyway
does the government even address the issue that banning something does little to nothing to reduce the availability?
or do they see it as;
>we've applied the law to the situation, our job is done
Sadly Huxley was right.
We aren't in 1984 where information is restricted, but in a weird dystopia where we are overhwlemed with information.
The general public at large just want to get home at night after work and have a beer or watch TV.
If they catch a 10 second clip that the government has banned a, b or c, then they think the govenrment is taking action on those nasty a, b and c things that they don't like.
MPs are aware, but what do you do? Vote the way your party does to be seen to be taking action and then actually try and improve iit behind the scenes, or do you go against the grain and have a load of mongs say they'll never vote for you because how could you not ban a, b and c.
I received a letter once from somebody, with no paragraphs, saying how they can't believe they get charged for fuel because the crown owns it and they think it should be free and it's a public service to get to work, do people not understand it.
Retards really exist out there
i unironically met someone the other day who thinks all of the shit that happened in germany was the fault of white europeans for not having educated them in what is acceptable behaviour in public.
>You're in a profession that needs grey areas just to function
Again, a classic misunderstanding and probably functions on the idea that we meet in shady rooms and do shady deals.
It's a tragic misunderstanding, and I bet, no offence, you have very little ide about what goes on in Parliament beyond voting on big bills and legislations.
If you can name some Parliamentary committees with at least 5 of the members on, you know more than 99% of people.
