We have many recipies where we cook them, but we also eat them raw in tartare steak.
My grandpa sometimes just eat them raw with nothing else, the absolute madman.

I warm them up a little first. Not so they set, just so they're not cold going down. 55c or so. I also put them into protein shakes without warming them

Free range egg is okay.

Because Eggs are pasteurized in the US, it's perfectly fine and in fact many people do, despite traditional advice saying not to.

The main danger is the shell, which is much more likely than the insides from having salmonella

So as long as you don't touch the shell to the egg yolk, risk of salmonella from raw eggs is relatively minimal
