Hi /ic/, I've never posted here before but I have this big issue right now where I mostly work with a somewhat cartoonish style, but at this time I get the feeling that I do not progress. Can you give me some pointers in what directions I should go? Maybe show me someone whose style I could be into?

literally fucking anyone
Go to Pixiv, Artstation, or even Stumblr or something and find art that you like--maybe start with what you like to see being drawn.
Can you fucktards stop making your own threads? Just spam a drawthread or something.
Fuck.
>your stuff's alright
But you don't need your own thread you fuckstick.

Ah, sorry man. Forget that I actually shove something else off the board. It would sure have been easier.
I do regular many things but I always end up trying to take leaps in progress and end up with nothing etc etc. I guess I should just bear with it until something happens. I had some thought that someone would just give me a clue to what I were doing wrong if anything.
But there are no shortcuts, of course.

This is what I've seen from the thumbnail.

It's beautiful! But is it some kind of reference I am not getting here?

I misheard it, since I've seen it as a 8-year old with no native english skills.

Oh shit I remember I saw this as a kid as well. But the shit was dubbed so.
>>2367186
how the fuck do you get those clean lines
Yeah that is clean af
>>2367253
Did you have proper lyrics or Wadbadababdabdibadubah?
>>2367259
Pretty much gibberish until the last word I can't remember.
Sorry for the blurr but I took it with my phone just now. Not having a scanner is killing me.

Also moving your entire arm instead of just the wrist is an old trick I learned a couple of years back!
>>2367266
can you make an traditional inking video i wanna learn your process.
>>2367467
My webcam is utter shit but I'll try.
>>2367834
that's the spirit!

Just got back from work, drawing something to ink right now. I can only record 5 minutes online, do you want more than that?
>>2367241
It's crumble but to be honest I saw this as a kid too and didn't know until fairly recently.
I chuckled. Thanks for that.
>>2368096
a 5 minute vid will do. i just want to see you get those consistent and clean lines with ink
>>2368104
It's actually fine-liners and markers that do the work, but I'm right on it.

I've never "embedded" before but it's just copying links, right?

Also, I just got a picture how bad my cam really is. I hope you can see what you came for..
>>2368126
Nice dude! watching it now. Thanks for the delivery
Just do more gestures and live drawings
try stepping out of your comfort zone by doing a landscape or a still life.
>>2368175
Wow, that is really out of my comfort zone, which I guess you can tell! I'll try to do something tonight.

Here's a crazy concept:
EMBRACE your style.Expand on it. Its cute, very marketable, and definitely YOURS. If I were to offer advice at all,I'd say try doing a few works that could be used as Greeting Cards,or settle ona character design you like, get complemented on,then try drawing it in different scenes and situations, just for experimentation and exploration. Other artists may inspire you,but remember only YOU can be You.

Nice. Loved LISA.
I think in all of your pieces you need to add a background. Besides that gesture drawings and still life drawings never hurt anyone.
>>2368521
I always think that I'll like. Add it when I colour them. But I almost never get there, sadly.
For your support. An earlier piece I haven't shown anyone.
