How do you go about designing your own tattoo? Or getting someone to do it for you

I have no artistic ability but I still want to be able to put something unique on my body

You could always come up with an idea, and then have a tattoo artist or illustrator make it for you. No shame in that and it's unique.

Honestly just contact local tattoo artists with your idea or offer to pay an artist you know/can find
