It's like all the bix nood and shitposting started attracting real actual racists and cuckoldry fetishists, who mistakenly believed that 4chan is a "safe space" for their circlejerks. Now they are entrenched deeply in several boards and feel like they own the place, I've heard some of them explicitly declare that 4chan culture is rightwing, kek. It would be one thing if they just stayed in their warren, but they feel the need to spread their ideology to every other board using the most transparent forced memes.

Yeah, no. It's a PhD in *Cognitive Neuroscience, which is a branch in Psychology. Operating an fMRI doesn't make you a Neurosurgeon, which I think you're confusing this with. It's basically brain theory, which he conveniently wrote his dissertation about with regards to religious beliefs and spirituality, among other things.

Cognitive sciences are a very interdisciplinary field. There's psychology, but there's also neurology, computer science, linguistics, etc.

His philosophical ideas are pretty lame; they are not unique, nor nuanced, and lack any real depth. It's really just fluff that backs the basic ideas of GOD BAD NOT REAL RELIGION SUPER EVIL, but when confronted with actual philosophical, moral, and ethical dilemmas of his ideas he has nothing to say. He rode off of his initial popularity on the New Atheist wave and fell flat on his face when attempting to prove his merit.

He got a degree in Neuroscience and the only work he's done was his brief thesis on how religion affects the mind. NOTHING ELSE, HE PAYED WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH FOR A DEGREE HE USES PURELY FOR CREDENTIALS. Someone should post that Webm/video of the room of real Neuro-scientists laughing at the very thought of calling Harris one of them. It's a textbook case of pseudo-intellectualism.

Now I think there's nothing wrong with being an Atheist. But from a philosophical stance the inability to prove Moral Objectivity and reliance on existential nihilism is a pretty big dilemma in the world of philosophy for Atheists, and Harris hasn't contributed anything to solving this dilemma. He tried to use a Logical argument, but even he admits this is extremely half baked and useless. Furthermore, him claiming to be a Skeptic then sperging over Eastern Spiritually all the time is pretty fucking hypocritical imo.

He has his little cult of fedoras still, who like OP and others in this thread are convinced that he is eternally right. And after every criticism he takes he runs off to his podcast and assures his little cult followers that he is just being misrepresented.

You could actually go on stormfront.org and see in their forum that they were talking how /pol/ responds well, or how they are successful.
