Are low birth rates a kiss of death to a civilisation? I don't recall any examples of them being successfully reversed.
It's to do with the Boomers. Their generation was so huge it has dwarfed any preceding generations.
And beacuse of that we need to import more immigrants to pay for for their retirement.
Considering that we've never lived in a society where technology allowed for industrial output to be mostly unrelated to population, the lessons of the past have absolutely no relation to our own future.
Your literally a retard
pic related, what populations do.
>Are low birth rates a kiss of death to a civilisation?
Not likely, and some anons take on the fall of Rome isn't exactly proof of anything. An ever increasing population is not a de facto good thing. If there is little need for unskilled masses but high need for highly skilled people then a society would be better off putting more resources into a few people than few resources into many people.
>I don't recall any examples of them being successfully reversed.
It's a new phenomenon, the only example I can think of is China which recently revised it's one child policy.
Do not care about that, civilization of humanity onto this planet have 7 milliard bodies.
hahahaha, I (the one who said he loves you) am the one who said /pol/ lies.
Oh anon you so crazy
>The whole of Greece has been subject to a low birth rate and a general decrease of the population, owing to which cities have become deserted and the land has ceased to yield fruit.... For as men had fallen into such a state of luxury, avarice, and indolence that they did not wish to marry, or, if they married, to rear the children born to them, or at most but one or two of them, so as to leave these in affluence and bring them up to waste their substance the evil insensibly but rapidly grew.
Polybius on Hellenistic Greece, before it got conquered by Rome.
I don't know man, but pic related obviously can't continue indefinitely.
>"Newer generations born in the now dysfunctional mouse utopia became withdrawn, spending their days grooming obsessively and dedicating their time solely to eating , drinking and sleeping. This generation, for all the emphasis they placed on grooming, would not reproduce. Moreover, these mice were noted to be unintelligent compared to previous generations."
