Is there any mods or plugins that allows you to edit your clothing/appearance while in the studio? There's some props that I want to add to my scenes that can only appear if you equip them in character maker, and it's a pain in the ass switching out to HoneySelect and Studio over and over to get the prop position correct.

I would highly recommend the mod manager. That's how I did it because I wasn't beliving it either.
When the update comes ill probably uninstall it then install the DLC.

so installing the new4k fucked my studio.
replacing the Sudio64data folder with the backup seems to have fixed it but the background on startup is blue and not black.

Skintexmod, the one with all the dirt. Honestly I was most satisfied with my Asuka until recently when I learned that SEMIPRO the Engrish prima donna over at Dongfire had ported over her uniquely unique hair but has refused to release it. feelsbadman. My only other avenue is waiting until Roy either ports over the already ported version of it from DOA5LR or decides to eventually move on to Tekken, which I hope he holds off from until June seeing as T7 is coming to steam. Until then, I'm so dissatisfied with what I have now....

You can use HSStudio mod to adjust/customize the in-game animations as well as add two keyframes (start and end) to IKs, but that's it.

There's a setting related to Saturation or color correction value or something in there that you need to alter. I think at 1.25 it's like the default studio. I ended up uninstalling 4k diffuse because every time I took a screenshot my shadows were disappearing and I didn't feel like figuring it out so close to patch time.

I know the task of modding is daunting, believe me I've held off on so long on so many complicated to use mods simply because of the loops you have to jump through.

Not necessary, If you found rendered result is "acceptable" for you but if you're perfectionist or need best result then yes.

Long time no see friends. It's so comfy to check up on new mods and shit after a 2 months break. Glad I dropped by to see the color correction removal. Interesting.

It works in-game but you have to sacrifice a little detail. Or maybe I'm just really bad at photoshop.

top left: scene with vanilla lighting - RGB values and strength at 1 and a neutral #7f7f7f bg (looks brownish because of correction), top middle: raw scene with "curves" set to -1, top right: the best custom lighting file I could make in five minutes. Notice how it lacks that smooth color bleeding effect or the shininess of the horns is completely gone because you have to crush blacks to achieve decent contrast. Bottom right is how it should look imo, with the lighting from the original and the colors from the new. If the modder could do that, I'd be all over this shit. For now I'm just hoping the new expansion will do something along those lines.

Anyways, I'm probably taking another break until all my favorite mods work with the new studio. Peace.

Open StudioConfig.xml and edit the following lines like this:

<CameraFarClipPlane>1000</CameraFarClipPlane>

My best guess is you aren't using the correct SBX version with your 4K, or you could be missing the graphics hotfix. I'll make your life easy and walk you through it if you don't understand.

That's just for the main game though. There was a way to remove it for studio but I can't find the instructions anywhere. I remember how to remove the watermark and I thought you could do the same to the + symbol, but removing it replaced it with an even more annoying white square.

My only gripe with the 4k thing though. Wish it didn't reset all that. But still, Celeste is finally the delicious brown I aimed for and not orange. Today is a good day.

It's a little annoying but its okay all it takes is a few seconds to move the ik node back to what it is meant to be.

Elf ears are literally just slider presets. If you're looking at an elf ear'd card but the ears aren't elfish in maker, that means someone probably edited the card and reshaped the ears (but kept the old image). Just remake the ears yourself.
