When I try to edit characters, sometimes in the save screen they have disappeared from the list, so I can't overwrite, I have to save them as a new character. Why is this? It seems to happen with the earlier characters.

Does anyone know shit about modding? I've figured out how to make this towel into a glove slot and it responds like it should (gets bigger with tit size, etc), but the problem is that I can only ever get one version of it working at a time. I've separated the meshes (I think) and list files into different unity3d files. If the normal state glove-towel works, neither the swimsuit version nor the half-off version will load, even though they appear in the selection list just fine. I can make the swimsuit version work by changing the index of the normal state glove version, but then neither glove versions will load.

I've only gotten the half-off version to load by removing the other versions entirely.

HsStudio should automatically save everything into an exifsav file or onto the studio .png directly (if you've turned that function on in modprefs.ini). That way when you load the file all the attachments/animations/etc should stay as they were. If it's not, something'd broke: either using a buggy version (occasionally there'll be a version that doesn't save right so always upgrade to the latest version) or trying to save too much exifsav data (there does seem to be a hard limit to how much it'll save before it nopes out)

Most people have a type, so the longer you spend idly changing features, the closer to your type the character becomes, so you end up samefacing. I've found a few ways to avoid this. You can use the random generator in-game (call sitri and search for girls) then mash the button till you see a girl with interesting features, then change hair, eyes, eyebrows etc and only tweak the face sliders a little. You can also just slightly modify other peoples cards. (I use cards from the jp database to avoid posting fellow anons cards) And you can use the ultra character generator and mate your cards with other anons cards to make interesting hybrids of your style and others. Some of my favorite cards are my cards mated with uggos that turned out beautiful. Mostly it's about mindset though. Even trying all these things I still end up samefacing a lot.
