I actually agree with this. But there is a difference. Png is lossless so that means that the screenshot you are taking is like the one on the screen. But that said if you convert it to jpg it wouldnt look too much different because not a single one of us is zooming in the picture to even notice the difference with artifacts. But that would also mean people would need to convert it and mostly people are lazy and post the Png instead. I've also did some comparisons with the conversions and they are indeed slim. But nobody will do the tests anyway.

JPG's are lossy compressed formats. You are only looking at the short picture and not the long haul. Every time Jpg's are saved, each tick will deteriorate the quality by means of artifacts/noises etc at first you won't be able to tell but as they start piling up you'll be able to see the difference. PNG's is the complete opposite and it keeps the picture intact exactly like it is no matter how many times its been saved over and not to mention it handles color variants leaps and bounds ahead of JPG's, in much darker situations for instance, you may have not seen much differences in the two you put up but other pictures will show. This is exactly why when HCG's are uploaded into EHentai for example, people will always prefer PNG's over JPG's and some will actually got ape shit from the sight of a JPG.

If you don't care for quality then by all means throw up JPG's but why spend all the time/effort setting up your girls with posing,scenes etc and settle for anything less than perfectly intact screenshots.

If you would have kept it strictly between sized comparisons than you're definitely right about JPG's having the advantage. But you absolutely cannot say that JPG's are EQUAL to PNG's in terms of quality.

I know very well their differences, but as you can see for simple screenshots at 1920x1080 the difference just isn't worth it.

The compression is here to help us anon. Also truth is relative, as there are several compression levels, most of the problems you stated are actually only true at high levels of compression, if you do a low compression you will keep most of the information in the image. That's just how compression works.

Having a PNG is always the best lossless option, this is why the game saves the picture in PNG. But for sharing a screenshot purposes you are always welcome to compress your image beforehand, specially in cases (like the image I linked before) where there is no relevant differences in the image, even after zooming.

In honey select you could create your stories as scenes basically. There are a lot of scene in the database that progress like simple stories.

Open the scene and advance the story by changing to the next scene. But when doing longer stories you might need to create than one scene.

Maybe they will add mods for that later, but for now I think that if you just want to tell a story with images you could add the dialogue to the screenshots.

There are a lot of other illusion games where you can "roleplay" in other stories just check the most recent ones if you wanna try out other games, but I don't know any specific for story developing.
