I installed everything in your post except for Zeaska's mod no.2 cause all I could find on that thread was the wing pack and accessories pack and somehow screwed something up pretty bad. I can select her from the menu, but her model doesn't show up during girl selection or the little dialogue bit. Then upon actually entering the H-scene, she is missing her head and my camera starts clipped into the ceiling.
I have no idea how I could manage to screw things up that hard just installing a bunch of mods. It's not my first time using mods in games, hell, not even my first time modding Illusion games.

I believe slider positions and such are saved into the card's pixels or metadata. You just load them and it should give you the person in the card.

The file stores metadata such as sliders positions, character name, character items, clothes etc, and with this data the game is able to recreate the character from scratch. nothing impressive, but the idea of having this file being an image does make it more fun.

1)Use the default standing animation (the straight posture one) as base.

Just read through the SB3UGS guide here: http://seesaawiki.jp/playclubmm/
It's better than whatever English trash you'll find. Most of the HS modders had done modding for Playclub or SBPR anyways.
The guide was meant for Playclub, but it's applicable to anything using SB3UGS. The only difference is the shaders and bones, which you'll have to consult Hongfire about.
This is the same with CM3D2, the Japanese had a better guide that was shorter and more thorough than the English one in Hongfire.
And yes, modding can be a nightmare once you start going into clothes. If you're a 3D artist, it just becomes tedious.

Cool, if you already know about weight painting and deformations, then it makes it much easier. To put it simply, you're going inheriting the bones of an existing asset, change a few things within the code to a different slot, and slowly work out the polish.

I was loading up a scene and switching out for my characters and see they could tip toes
Also is there anyway to switch characters in the studio and keep the height working?

Different anon, but a couple of things. Noses are hard to make so I know you tried, still, she looks a little pig-nosed. Lower the tip angle a little. Those 2D-to-3D noses are hard to make so I'd consider just making something more realistic altogether. Also, the head shape is wrong, mostly the cheekbones jut out too much and the chin not so much. Different eyebrows as well, maybe average-medium.
