Where do i even start? ios doesn't have an app drawer, all your apps are on the homescreen and you either deal with them cluttering your wallpaper (which by the way couldn't be changed for one of your choosing, it was either an apple© approved one or a photo you took with the camera) or you make several homescreens to keep the main one clean, there's also no multitasking/recents button and i couldn't figure out where the fucking back button was, i had to press the fingerprint scanner and from there open the browser or whatever the fuck.

No chanu or other primitive chan browsers, no flash, my .mkv anime either had lag or no subtitles, the audio output was significantly worse, manlet sized and worst of all was the lack of capacitive buttons, i also had more storage on my m7 (64 vs 16) but that's fault of my parents, the only thing i liked from the iphone was that there were quite a few mobages not available for android.

I'm not a huge phone guy and bought the OnePlus 3t.
Can't really give a review since I've had it for 4 days now. I miss having the numbers on my apps if I had something to look at. The dash charging is great though but super worried about bringing my charger with me and just misplacing it. I can't just bug someone for theirs or use the countless cords I had for my old phone. I know you can buy an adapter but that's a tiny cord for me to lose.

Also, the picture quality seems like an outright lie. I know Facebook downscales quality but even the raw photos seem poopy.

Also no weather on my lock screen and I'm valet so that was vastly important for me.

It only has bands 3, 7, and 20. Therefore you will get extremely little LTE coverage on AT&T and T-Mobile. Basically you'd only get LTE when in an area the provider has band 7 deployed, which isn't in the vast majority of places.

If you're ok with being stuck on 3G all the time then you could use it, but if you're giving up LTE you might as well get a chinkphone. You should be able to find a good phone that supports LTE in the US.

My dad wants to get a new phone with a decently good camera.
But budget should be under $100. The lower the better. We are currently switching to Cricket Wireless so any phones they have discounted for new customers are an option. We are in the US.
Don't give a shit about the Moto G5 Plus, my dad is a pretty practical guy and I don't see him moving his budget any higher just to get slightly prettier pictures.


We are coming from an LG Optimus F6. This is a lower-midrange phone from 2014 with a 5mpx camera. Shouldn't be hard to improve quite a bit from that.

Same thing happened with my s7. Had a rubber incipio case on it. Dropped it a couple of feet and the back glass shattered. Was still water resistant though, so I just ended up fixing it a week ago (dropped it like 3 months ago). I guess that's the price we pay for beauty. Would give it 8/10 factoring in retarded fingerprint sensor location and if i dropped it once i'm doomed. The screen is by far my favorite feature, it just so beautiful. I would suggest anyone on the fence go to a store and play with one.

I own a RN3P aka last year's redmeme, i assume they're mostly the same sans snapdragon version so i can comment on it i guess.

Battery life will be vastly improved, mine shipped with the chinky rom and even after flashing the yuro one on it it still seemed sluggish and i didn't like the iOS ripoff it had for ui so i went with official CM13/no GApps/Xposed and suddenly i got one and half extra hours SoT on it for a grand total of 7 hours SoT, it's crazy how well it holds up for night shifts where nothing happens: 3-4 hours of anime, one hour of reading mango, one hour or so of music, some PS1 gayman and i still go home with about 25-30% battery left.

Camera takes a nosedive but it's not like the camera wasn't shit before this, i never use it anyway.

You needed to flash some zip immediately after flashing your rom and gapps to get your fingerprint scanner to work, no idea if it's still like this in the note 4 but i guess i better mention it before you shit up a thread with complaints on xda.

I tried some other roms after CM13 (mostly nougat ones like XOSP, Omni, RR and a pajeet Orion build), they offered nothing but cosmetic tweaks out of the box, nothing i couldn't get with xposed so i flashed the latest snapshot of CM13/no GApps/Xposed again and it's still running fine after a year.

Do not use chinese sd cards on this phone, it might be just my shit luck but of the three shark 64GB cards i bought two shat themselves after a few months of use, the other one is still working fine on my moto g2, i bought a 64GB samsung one from an official store and the redmeme hasn't wrecked it, yet.

Overall it's one hell of a phone for that price, 180 dollars well spent.

That's the phone I have, the camera is decent but low light isn't great in auto mode, I like that it's got USB-C and quick charge because it's the best performance/battery life I've had to date, mSD and the screen gets bright
Also it's got NFC if you do Android Pay and the stock ROM is really light save for a few customizations in settings, what sucks is it has the 2.5D screen so screen covers don't cover completely and you get the 2mm ring around it, also the only good case is made by ZTE who overcharges for it
